I forgot to mention that the Matosade spell that summons in the worms is unlocked by the boss you can find across the lava lake and over the bridge on the first level. It has a 100% chance to drop the spell when killed but also unlocks the spell for it to appear in any of your future runs in holy mountain shops and a few other places.
@@NoR3m0rs3 No doubt. Probably the toughest baseline-boss in the game. (I say "baseline" because obviously Kolmi gets tougher as you add orbs) But there are ways to beat it. I like plasma personally. There is also an exploit for beating it, if you're into that kinda thing.

@@lukaslanger8077 Yup, I did it Fury's new way. But Alias has a method where he uses egg triggers with plasma cutters, he plants a bunch of them on the rope bridge like landmines before triggering the boss, and as it flies up through them it triggers all the plasma cutters and duplicates them all, killing itself. Dangerous as heck, but probably less dangerous than Fury's method.
@@lukaslanger8077 Tried his method with just one Emerald Tablet in that room (because I gave the others to the mountain altar) and it works too! 13:21 - Very important indeed! It's important to understand the theory behind these spells, since if you just look for those exact components, you're going to have a very difficult time building anything. I've pretty much never been able to copy someone's wand build straight-up, and have always had to improvise, finding similar components that work but aren't quite what the build suggests. This even works for incredibly precise wands like long-distance travel wands.
Combine this with the heart mage (red and yellow mage) that hits you with a projectile that halves your health with each shot and some ambrosia, and voila, shit tons of health The more hearts you get while at 1 hp while having been hit multiple times by the mage AND under the protection of ambrosia you can double up your health to insane amounts FuryForged did a tutorial on this you can go check it out
If you want matosade early too, I'm not sure if this trick has been shown on this channel but FuryForged had a showcase video called 'How to defeat the Wand Connoisseur to get OP early in Noita' where you can use 2 green tablets to trick the wand con miniboss into killing itself and get easy access to the matosade spell (but more importantly 2 good wands and spells as soon as you spawn).
I've recently started watching your channel and I have learned so much more about Niota. In 30 minutes I learned more than I have in 30 hours of playing the game.
The reason it summons a single worm with the add trigger is because add trigger doesnt actually call the first spell if it finds a payload (if it doesnt find a payload it casts the first spell normally). Instead, it makes a copy of the projectile of the spell, which is just a worm. This case seems to imply that the heart spawn of the worms gets removed by the calling of matadore instead of matadores projectile being a special worm with hearts disabled.
Thank you as always for the Noita Knowledge info dump. Personally, I am fine with more informational Noita videos.. and maybe sometimes full runs. Albeit I prefer lurking in your twitch for full runs because I prefer regular / challenge runs to be live to see the struggle and not just the victory. Also goodluck on the special 1400 win challenge run. I hope I can catch it on my timeslot
First thing I tried when finding the Matosade spell was infinite hearts... and was promptly disappointed that no hearts spawned in. This is crazy Noita hacking to make that work! I'm impressed anyone figured this out at all.
As someone who doesn't play Noita, I'm definitely the kind of guy to figure this out by accident. Simply because I'd wonder how the add trigger would work with worms. Would all of them deliver the payload? What if I put another Matosade on the Matosade, would the worms summon even more worms?
Worm Multiply should also work with another spell - a modifier that duplicates projectiles (throws down) while flying. If you launch such a projectile vertically upward high above the ground, you can launch a LOT of duplicates directly onto your head. I used this modifier with mushroom spores, fired one shot and got many explosions. By the way, killing by these fungal spores is considered an “accident.” So you can get a lot of regular gold or bloody gold.
Regarding the 10K congrats man, bought here by DarkViperAu’s stream months back I think around 1-2K I can’t remember, doesn’t matter anyway. Hopefully that 10K turns to 100K.
Hey DunkorSlam. Ive started playing Noita again after a year of not playing it, and Im now interested in completing the Treevment Pillars. I currently have a god run in the works, so Im interested in knowing which pillars are best to clear first? Should I got for one of the 4,5, or 11 orb endings? Also, is it smart to complete my Moon Quests now? Im interested to hear what you have to say, because I want to get as much done as I can in order to save time.
So if you're looking to complete all of the pillars then its usually easiest to get the ones out of the way involving grabbing all the essences and going to the moon BEFORE doing the sun quests. Once you've done the sun quest then in future runs if you want to do the moon quest stuff itll be scary as heck because they will be a sun trying to murder you in the way. Other than that though I wouldnt really say there's an obvious specific order. Choose a pillar that looks like fun and go for it! Since you're capable of getting a god run going, you will have more of them for sure so don't over think which pillars you need to do first. The hard part of Noita is getting that first god run going. From there it just gets easier and easier to create crazy powerful runs =)
I love the final exploit here. The guy actually made a functioning blood altar out of spells in the middle of the game! All of a sudden, enchanted objects make so much more sense. All they'd need is to be imbued with something like this...
So, the plasma bean uses wrap to double its modifiers(Or not?), and uses divide by to double them again(4x?) in order to make an infinite plasma beam (The pattern increases lifetime, though, and I thought the goal here was to just reduce it to negative values; does the pattern have some other function here?) which contains the trigger the note, the worm, and a bolt. The note freezes, the tentacle hits, and the wormtrigger spawns. The weird part to me is the first section. Am I misunderstanding something-- is this actually not needing to wrap the modifiers again on the plasma (Is only using the divide by+reduce lifetime enough?) As a second thing, why does a plasma beam in particular still need piercing? Doesn't it innately have friendly fire, persistence, and multiple instances of damage? I'm not certain what piercing is changing about those properties in the case of plasma beam, since its function with something like a spark bolt or point of light is self evident Actually, another thing. What is causing the plasma beam to relocate when it triggers its effects? Shouldn't it stay static? Is that part of the pattern modifier in some kind of weird interaction?
I don't think anyone fully understands the divide by mechanics :P I've been reading the detailed guides on the wiki and it's still not totally clear to me.

Oh, the Leviathan. I think it has high resistances and projectile immunity, so you need to use weakening curses. I killed it only one time, with a wand with explosive shot and explosion weakening curses
Doesn't wand refresher put the hand back into the deck, bypassing the discard pile and, by extension, the part of the casting process that expends spell uses? If you make sure the last thing in the spell block that the worm-trigger is in is the wand refresher it should make the spell unlimited, even in its triggerized form, no? You can't add a trigger to a Greek spell because they're type "Other" and the trigger only affects Projectile, Static Projectile, Material, or Utility. So it would be the regular matosade, not the single worm one

Doesn't work with Add Trigger, it skips over Greek letters (no effect on "Other" type spells).
Throw in the heart mage XD
Why not do that on worm launcher? It works with Gamma.
i was under the impression that the heart drop from the worms spawned was removed...
seems like it wasnt?
edit: oh trigger
Worms have a 50% chance to drop hearts? What? I've never seen that! I'mma go kill some worms now, brb
Wow. Thats cool
Hello Dunk. I came to say good luck tonight. Also FIRST
Когда с скастованного червя выпал дроп с сердечком я просто обрамлел)))))
"ЕБАТЬ, ТЫ ЕБАНЫЙ ВОЛШЕБНИК":)
For anyone interested Matosade's subtext reads, "Alea Iacta Est", a Latin expression meaning "The Die is Cast" or basically, your fate is sealed.
You know? You'd probably be fine with only posting Noita here, for the reason that you have built a RUclips community, who enjoys this particular game, which is a garanteed success for your future Noita Videos. Or you could add more people of course, its up to you. However, I love your Noita content and would like to watch your streams, as soon as I get more time.
Now to combine rhat with thw heart mage
Too op
Really wild
10:30 bruh💀💀💀💀
man i miss this strat, they patched it so that worms spawned fom matosade don't drop HP+.
i just realized they patched this trick cause i tried it in a run... wanted to combine it with heatmage and it took me way too long to get all the spells then i got sad cause it didnt work and just killed final boss and took a W because that was a big L
did you make sure to use add trigger? for the worms to drop hearts it has to be the single worm from using add trigger with matosade, if you cast it and it rains down the worms it definitely won't work
also i dont think there were any patches in between this video and when you commented, although theres been a patch a few days ago so now it could be fixed
@@eden3669I didn't know this thanks for the info kind stranger.
@@grillo_419did you even watch the video i mean wtf
How could this even be called cheating? By the time you collect all ingredients for this farm your HP amount is already irrelevant.
With the normal blood perk, more blood and vampirism you could go infinitely
your video is amazing but often so long!
quack!
1:39 You can just check on like google translate how its pronounced
interesting... but heartbreak abuse is much more noita-engine friendly.
You failed pronunciation. Instead of Mato you said Matto and that's a carpet. Matosade: "Worm Rain" or "The Rain of Worms"
Imaging doing this in a real run, buy yhat one pixel of polymorphine...
Simply put omega in ur wand
they changed it to stop the worms from dropping health.....
so fuck us casual players trying to beat the game
i guess we are just crap
