thanks. bc of you I know how to do this to mine. I got a used fuel tank replacement and crud in it clogged my carb and caused a leak. I just repaired it but I will still do this after my next ride.
@@MrMickjuh it could be a fuel issue, im not entirely sure it could be a bunch of problems. First I would start and see if the bike idles well, give it some throttle in neutral and see what happens. It could be a eletrical issue, really depends on the bike
@@MrMickjuh this highly sounds like a highly fuel related issue, it can be something clogged with the fuel system. Im not that big of an expert of bikes. But the notes you told me is leading me to a fuel problem.
Hi sir. Just want to ask if its okay to put two fuel filters? My scooter have fuel filter inside the tank and i want to add an aftermarket fuel filter (just lime your filter). Doesnt affect the performance of my scooter? Gracias
@@BobWickets I second this question, literally why I'm here. Is it correct in this video? Mine does not have and arrow but it's facing down like this in the video.
@@erickimmy1493 Look @3:01 in the video. Looks like you can kinda see the "flow" marked on the side of the filter. With that in mind, it should be correct.
@@BobWickets yeah mine doesn't have an arrow unfortunately. And the cheap ass fuel line that came with the kit is leaking. I need better line, nothing open right now and it's in the house so kinda stinks. I did temporarily fix it with a zip tie until tomorrow so it's not actually leaking. Just the few drops that did stink. I haven't started the bike yet once, tried today and it acted like it didn't have spark and or the clutch wasn't engaging enough after I "adjusted" it bc it was too tight. On the right side, so now more trouble shooting. Then the actual bike chain not the kit chain broke so I called it a day. Lol I hope it's not a dudd. It's hit or miss with these 125 dollar kits
so i bought one of these and put them on my WR. problem is the bike doesn't get fuel sometimes. the one i bought doesn't have a flow marking and i put it upside down from what you are showing. could that be the problem?
Dude come on, zip ties for fuel related installs is a no no!!! If you put anything online then it is likely that someone will replicate what they see, dangerous stuff man.
They probable won't work in this one? Poor flow, air pocketed and little heat resistance? Twice what you need is better than 1/2 you can't use? Two if no space allows😕 the float and needle pin valve can handle more but not less. An air gap will only be fatal at full throttle, which is the worst possiable time. Bonus two? It will last longer and cost less at the bottom line.😏
Did you notice the kink/stress fracture at the carb inlet? Never throw away hose; just cut at frature reinstall the unstressed hose end the carb with the shortened hose and a clamp. Now the clamps 😨 wire ties and fuel lines don't lust for each other for a long term relationship; so ,pay a buck and save the bike or you and the bike. Worse both you and ME 😲 WHEN YOU START A GASOLINE FIRE. How do I know? A large box of 50 reusable screw clamps costs \~\ $25. $30. could have saved several of my friends bikes. I was happy not to have to safety wire them after I stopped racing; back in the spring wire "fasteners" days. When you change the clamos, change the cheapest plastic filter with a steel cased bronze filter positioned away from high heat sources 😉!
"no leaks" * Sees drops falling from filter * Don't wanna bring my dirt bike to this guy.
I was about to say this.lol
He said that just before the drip happened. Immediately after that he installed a hose clamp because it was leaking.
But he fixed lmao
Why make 2 cuts in the fuel line when 1 would do & leave you with some spare length if you needed to trim sometime ??
Exactly what I thought
You have to remove a section to add the length of the filter otherwise the fuel line will be too long, duh.

Does this work on older 4 sttokes too or will I restrict the fuel supply?
Same question
Great video on how to install it, I had my filter flipped so I have to change that
Noticed any thing ? My bike sometimes will hold before going
, when on higher rpms, wondering if its from flipped filter
@@MrMickjuh what do you mean hold?
@@KhaiMahase like when i go full power it wil stop giving power and wil go like like brrrr and then its power comes back

Do you also know how to conect a wire of the lights to my key ignition
I have a 2 stroke and I will buy a filter but I hear that those filter don't let the mix oil going through
so what would be the purpose of getting one of these or ig upgrading the one i already have
Informative content. Ridiculous and long intro. Wonderful t-shirt
Really helpful - thanks for the video !

Thats a wart on your finger?
does it matter which way the fuel filter is facing?
Yea usually there is an arrow showing you flow direction

Why dangerous bruh
would these filters work on bigger bikes?
Yeah.
