- #nicaragua #youtuber #noticias Recently there are reports from a Nicaraguan youtuber that he is unable to return to Nicaragua. A number of people have expressed concern that somehow his situation was similar to mine; and others have pressured me to provide some opinion on the situation. Luckily his situation was unrelated to his RUclips activities and that's just a fake news story being repeated. And as literally nothing of his story is something that is 1) related to me in any way or 2) something that I have any information about, it's unclear what kind of commentary people are expecting me to provide. Unlike Allison's Journey where we had lots of information about the situation and a lot of "how to protect yourself" information for potential expats, this story has no connection to anything inside my ken, experience, or exposure. You might as well as a street vendor in rural Africa for his opinion on it. I'm just a random person with no connection to or knowledge of any part of the situation.

Just a reminder that this is a private community and has rules. Using the community as a way to intentionally spread disinformation or commit a crime isn't allowed, full stop. It's not a "sometimes" thing. It's supposed to be a friendly, honest place for people looking to get real information or insight. I hope it is just bots posting these things, not real people. The anonymity of the Internet makes it so hard to know why "people" act this way sometimes.
My two cents. You are providing to best of. Your ability a non bias journalistic veiw. People now seem to want bias in journalism that aligns with their veiw. Accidents and shit happens in life. If you can do anything about it get of your ass. If cant move on with life. This what ever with someone named Allison happens everywhere in the world. If scares you than stay in your safe lane. Some people live to create drama. These people are a plague to society. They need to get a life outside of keyboard world. Carry on Scott. 😊
