Great / Perfect design 1. Pillow blocks bearings, 2. Bolts in place of thru-shaft, 3. Fill hole doesn't interfere with frame, 4. Easy Peasy, time spent is comparatively small amount to end up with a Very useful tool, 5. Price is Right... bearings, fittings & welding Rods probably most of the overall cost Which I estimate +/- $60.00 ~~ Include a can or 2 of good paint and this will Last yours & your grandkids lifetimes.👍🇺🇸😎🍀🚜🍺
No such thing as to heavy, but you can’t take the weight out with concrete. I also didn’t want to deal with the weight getting off balance and making the roller thump.

that tank alone is $600. the cost of the welder ? the lessons/training to use the welder?
This is so simple it's genius!!!!!
whats best to buy for axle/shaft..i have 3/4 inch flange bearings on hand so if o could find a 3/4 rod that would work,,
Local welding shop will sell it buy the inch, otherwise 2 bolts and cut off the heads
damn i did this w/o seeing this- only made out of wood
is concrete filled too heavy?
