It’s a big shame that the sound pack isn’t available anymore
It is, the sound pack does make the voyager just about bareable. I managed to pickup some of the sound packs just before they were discontinued. Sucks if You're new to the game.
Can you do a York to Reading route on the game with all the correct DLCS?
