There is one thing that makes Rails Unlimited stand out from the rest: derailments. This game has a heavier focus on derailing your train, with dedicated sounds and effects and your train not glitching through the floor when falling over (except for old yard). Although it is very difficult to derail your train because you have to either go through a very tight curve at a very high speed or switch a junction while your train is on it.
Thanks for playing Rail Sim Universe! We have made a TON of new updates and changes since this was filmed, and have a very rapid update schedule. We would love to see your thoughts on the latest changes we have made. I would also like to address the 500 robux price, it's intended to be a limited time novelty purchase to help us fund development. Players receive several special trains (for free) with every route expansion we add in the future. The game will be 100% free to play when we complete it.
Hey, thanks for playing RU! We definitely do need to focus a lot on the points you've noted. We're working on more replayability and other general improvements.
That would be amazing! I remember the currency system, as well as the customization of consists, being teased a good while ago, yet both of them have yet to even be mentioned again. I would absolutely _love_ for both to be in the game, as they actually looked great!
Snow hills lines... I remember that people called it "The NEW SCR" cause it was realistic at the time and has custom train option, but is now forgotten cause of the physics and the just lack of updates :/
The reason I like Stepford and British Railway is because trains can not drive through each other. There’s a whole system that prevents trains from crashing into each other and users ending up on the same tracks driving through each other, and I hope other games adopt this system.
I believe WCR also has such a system. The BR one is the best in my opinion though, because of the ghost feature. Makes it hard or even impossible to purposefully block the signals because you'll just get ghosted if you try.
Me personally I despise the feature because in said games the signals always force me to be late for the next stop if not be late for every stop in the entire route because of them. And in british rail it can be sometimes hard to see the signals
Omg thanks for putting BR in first place, it deserves it compared to SCR about a lot of things like physics, consistency of electric trains (with pantographes) and diesel trains and even the AI passengers features imo

As a DJMM member, I can explain why the game is so broken. Since Roblox started to update their software, DJMM also tried to keep up. Unfortunately, they mostly put effort into new features instead of fixing the game to the new Roblox software which resulted in your part loss for example, or tracks could be missing which can make you derail and so I could go on and on. People where also mad at the management for promising things like the Metropolitan and Northern line, but they only added half-made lines which where only accessible with gamepass trains. And they where also mad at them for the state of the game, which resulted in the owner of the game robbing the group of its funds and flee. The game is now transforming into a brand new community, called All Change community. We are hoping that this time the direction won’t disappoint us.
The reason for Snow Hill Line's lack of updates is that it was discontinued years ago and now is unsupported entirely. The studio behind it however, Centro, are working on a very impressive looking tube game simulating the Victoria Line. It's probably the most innovative in years on the basis of UI, sounds, models, etc etc, so I do suggest you give it a try when it releases hopefully sometime in the remaining portion of the year.
Stream lined also gets constant updates like new/updated model, events with limited timed engines and wagons, and while it currently is in Alpha, and will probably stay there for a while, once it's in Beta, it'll be free with private servers also free

There's one game that i REALLY wish was made: one based on the japanese railways (preferably during the 50's). Seriously, their trains are gorgeus, that all-black design with white and golden lines is just beautiful, my favorite train of all time has to be the JNR C62.
The style of the PTA System map mirrors the one the New York MTA uses. They in fact do not use a diagram-style map and settle on a geographically realistic map.

train sim now had alot of updates from the time you played.. now it has more than 20 trains, controls arent as confusing and some bugs are fixed.. though it still lags a lot edit after 6 months: a CRAPLOAD more trains, new maps and some lag issue fixes
I personally found British railway to be confusing with aws and map. The distances between signals is short, the navigation map is very bad and doesn't show you what route your taking, which tracks your going to drive on so you don't know if the signal your passing is going to be red or not. Also the game is actually really grindy. I get 35-50 points on a 15 minute route and to get new trains i have to spend more than a 1000 points. British railways is a big pass for me and i would personally move it to 10th place.
Disagree, a 15 minute route when done right can get you over a hundred points, the signal system is great, bringing realism and simplicity together, and, What do you mean you don't know what route your taking?
there were to many that were not put in here but i wont complaine btw RSU has gotten many updates need to do a recap on that cause the more people that know the better it will be

Btw if you want a free Roblox Thomas game, I would highly recommend Blue Train With Friends or Sodor Online Jobs A Plenty (although as for today, December 3rd, 2023, the “Jobs A Plenty” part is replaced with “Snow Time To Lose”)
I am disappointed that Trainways didn't get a mention (basically because I am Australian) but this was a very enjoyable video to watch.
train sim now had alot of updates from the time you played.. now it has more than 20 trains, controls arent as confusing and some bugs are fixed.. though it still lags a lot
edit after 6 months: a CRAPLOAD more trains, new maps and some lag issue fixes
I personally found British railway to be confusing with aws and map. The distances between signals is short, the navigation map is very bad and doesn't show you what route your taking, which tracks your going to drive on so you don't know if the signal your passing is going to be red or not.
Also the game is actually really grindy. I get 35-50 points on a 15 minute route and to get new trains i have to spend more than a 1000 points. British railways is a big pass for me and i would personally move it to 10th place.
me being a British Railway fan:
Disagree, a 15 minute route when done right can get you over a hundred points, the signal system is great, bringing realism and simplicity together, and, What do you mean you don't know what route your taking?
there were to many that were not put in here but i wont complaine btw RSU has gotten many updates need to do a recap on that cause the more people that know the better it will be
Train Driver 2 (not a roblox game) is an amazing one
Snow Hill Lines' standalone feature is that it's set in Birmingham with all the same scenery as the real world
Thank you, as a mobile player this is super helpful 👍.
Glad it helped!
