I was picked on for my physical appearance which included the size of my head, nose and ears. It was constant and relentless. It destroyed my self-confidence and made me feel worthless. But over time I figured out how to beat the bullies. I took away the bullies' power. I used my quick wit and self-deprecating humor to disarm them. In the meantime, I used athletics and other extracurricular activities to find my way in the world. In other words, I became the best version of myself. Most importantly I learned that you can NEVER let your past define you, destroy you or defeat you. LET IT STRENGTHEN YOU!! 💪
Good job, Rick! I salute you and support you! The scars stay for a lifetime anyway. May we derive only the best in terms of our empathy and understanding of others that such brutal cases bring.
