Sounds like a Chosid Shotah. While violating the Sabbath is not allowed engaging in permitted "weekday" activities are for a possible big loss. When the head of a massive Chasidish company was notified of an issue at the business he walked miles there to assess the situation & see what if anything needed to be done.
