    This is one of the most satisfying Resto videos I’ve seen in a long time. Loved the combination of manual elbow grease and some mechanical assistance. Great subject too. Not seen a lock with such a simple but clever mechanism before. Likes also the sound levels you used where you could really hear that crispy rust flaking off. You got your video and audio set up just right. Great work - new subscriber! 👍🏻

    2 minutes in I knew this a channel I'd like to sub to and I did the second I finished what an amazing restoration the care you take of a piece of history most people would bin is amazing, so glad your not one of the restoration channel that uses filler to hide an items history then covers it in "powder coat" even more disguising the history of the piece

      Did you watch a different video than I did? Fake rust is either mud or left in salt water for a few weeks. You could see the layers of rust as it was being removed. No way was that fake.

    • @TheStonedSpidR
      @TheStonedSpidR 9 месяцев назад

      yeah is that why when he opened it up it was caked with "rust" with there actually being nothing in there to produce that much rust. and the components with that much rust would have holes and structure integrity issues. None of this happened. Fake.@@Simonsimon-fy3hq

    • @TheStonedSpidR
      @TheStonedSpidR 9 месяцев назад

      wow he removed my response rofl totally fake ass channel with fake videos. if that lock had that much rust in it there would be nothing left of the internals. nothing. there was so much "rust" in there but none of the internals were damaged at all. not one hole not super thin metal, nothing. fake. fake fake and im sure he'll remove this response also so im going to screenshot it.@@Simonsimon-fy3hq
