Are You Afraid Of The Dark was my childhood. There's countless great episodes from this show and you should totally cover some more.

The tale of the silent servant was a scary one.
There was an episode called "Quicksilver" that was creepy.
Fantastic episode! I totally forgot about ‘Are you afraid of the dark?’. So nostalgic. ‘Are you afraid of the dark?’ Could be so creepy but also had that colourful 90s campiness that gave it a lot of charm.
There was an episode of Freddy's Nightmares where he takes on the persona of this creepy (ghost?) mime, and one scene features him creeping around neighborhood yards from the sides of houses and staring at the main characters-- maybe they got it from that.
I've a few Nightmare Fuel ideas I'd like to see:-
* Jeff Wayne's "War of the Worlds"
* Acclaim game ShadowMan
* Doom PSX/Doom 64 (due to Aubrey Hodges masterful eerie ambience)
The "Are You Afraid of the Dark" episodes that scared me were:
"Tale of the Forever Game", because of that face in the tree.
"Tale of the Dark Music", because of the evil skeleton.
And, "Tale of Bigfoot Ridge", because I had nightmares about the Umbra for a week!
I freaking loved "Are You Afraid of the Dark?"!!!

Has anyone been able to find out if this is based on the true story of “Laff in the Dark” fun house? The stories are very similar in a lot of ways.
