Wow, you're attention to detail is amazing. I've learned so much from watching your videos and this one was especially nice. Seeing how you've given so much thought to how the wiring behind the panel is layed out and organized is impressive. Definitely makes me rethink not to just throw wires back there! Nice job, Mark!!!
Another good video Mark. Your wiring looks just as professional as the firewall forward. Thanks for posting you will be flying off your 40 hours before you know it.
Landing Light Lens. Mine is on the inside. Without a wing tip, installation wasn't bad. But once installed, and with the wing tip on, PITA doesn't describe MX on the lens or the landing light. You made an EXCELLENT choice deciding to mount it on the outside --- oh yeah, the outside mount also discourages airflushing on the inside of the wing cavity --- the lens directing air away from rather than scooping air into the wing cavity. Yours is a MUCH better idea!!
Hey Mark, your build looks great! For your recognition light I would fabricate a doubler to go on the inside of the leading edge skin and attach some floating nut plates then trim the lens to fit flush with the leading edge skin. That will give you cleaner lines and wont have to deal with fiberglass. One other suggestion that I have is I would add some spiral rap around the wires to protect the wires that come in contact with any metal edge.
Question, why you didn't add a piano hinge to make an access door on that peace that will cover all your wiring up? Than you wouldn't have to work on anything upside down or change fuses on your back.
O gotcha, I didn't know that was covered up by the windshield. Your videos are very well put together and fun to watch. I plan to build a Rans S-21 in the future so it's fun seeing builds like yours go together
Nice work! This may sound like a dumb question, but do you feel this kit is truly for the first time builder? I have so many questions and there are a million places to go for answers. What is your source of truth? Thanks!
Did you label all your wires ?? I was watching a video by Jon Croke (Home Built Help) about wire labeling, Damn to label all those wires would be a huge effort !! BTW, you do excellent work, very cool.

Very nice, clean installation on the wiring, Mark! Coming along nicely.

You might want to add intermediate wire tags for future troubleshooting on the harnesses.
I see CHT readouts on the Skyview but no EGT. Is that controlled so well with ULPower's Fuel Injection and FADEC that you don't even want to see it?
What holder did you use to mount the iPad flush, looks fantastic !!
Thank you for the reply, I retire in 18 months and plan to build a Just Aircraft Super STOL !!
