Are you winning at online poker yet? Also, here are 5 signs that you play BETTER than most other poker players: ruclips.net/video/jUrgD8Xot_M/видео.html
High Stakes tournament winner & youtuber here. Stumbled on your video randomly but I have to admit. You broke this down in very understandable matter to new players. Poker is far more complexe than this video and it requires a much deeper mathematical understanding. However this video is a great way to start on the right path. Nice work!
Good players don't use bumper sticker quotes. If you hear someone say "if u can't place the fish then it's you".... that's the fish at your table. That's a big tell.
I have a startegy you didn't mention in your video which is entering with 2 accounts to the same table increasing your chances that one of them will get the wining hand 😎😎😎
If you can't figure out who the fish is at a table there is an app built in to your phone for this. Just open your default camera app, and click on the icon that looks like rotating arrows.
I'm going to try this, it will feel like backtracking playing such a tight range, but i guess it's a bit like movement in a first person shooter game, why jump around and crouch and dodge shots whenyou opponent can't aim, just stand still and take the easier shots. Only thing I will say is a bit weird are the low pocket pairs being in the range and ace 5s not being, ace 5s is stronger than pocket 6s id say.
Great video. Have you considered doing one specifically covering how to play from the BB? I feel like that's something that hasn't been touched on as much (range, bet sizing, etc.)
Good advise for a cash game. Doesn't really work all the time to bet A high in some MTT when you just have no idea who are you playing with and don't have a tag for everyone yet while blinds are higher and higher.
So Nathan, tell me. I'm playing only the hands described at about the 2 minute mark. I'm up against a wild opponent who raises all kinds of junk. I have KJo. Flop is K92 rainbow. I raise pre-flop (3bb) and make a C-bet of 1/2 pot on the flop. Maniac puts me all in. I know this player, from past experience, will make this move with bottom pair on the flop (without any other equity). I call. He has K9o, a hand you don't suggest to play. I call, and no help on turn/river and I'm stacked. How do YOU play against this type of player?
Exactly the way you played it. That is called variance and bad play. You want that if you are a good player. The math will always favored you in the long-term. Always. You can't run from math.
AS JAMIE BELOW SAID U PLAYED IT CORRECTLY..VS THOSE GUYS U WANNA GET IN THOSE SPOTS BECAUSE THEY ONLY HAVE ONE GEAR...ZERO BALANCE ..KJ IS A SNAP CALL VS THIS GUY....ON THE LONG RUN U WILL BE WINNING 75-80% OF THE TIME IN THIS SPOT...DONT WORRY ABOUT THE OUTCOME AT THE MOMENT..REMEMBER ITS A LIFE LONG SESSION..IVE BEEN DOING THIS FOR 19 YRS OF WHICH 11 AS A 2-5 5-10 LIVE CASH PRO..NOW IM NOWHERE NEAR CASINO AND BEEN GRINDING/WINNING ONLINE..GL IN THE FUTURE BUDDY
Or it could be that guy is not as much as donkey as you think. It’s possible he’s aware of his image and used it to his advantage. He probably put you on the type of hand you had and figured you’d pay him off with a shove. Maybe against you specially, in that particular spot, he doesn’t shove on you with K9 if he doesn’t outflop you. It’s likely his previous wild play was a setup to get paid off in this exact scenario.
@@guillermoalvarez9400 bruh you overestimate micro/small stakes fishes. They do this with all kinds of hands hoping you dont hit the flop and will just fold to their jam
I've Ak and main reason in my lobby is everytime someone call all in n m like wtf really n call all in to the result is he has 57or 59 n he win by either 55 or 77😢
"How can I only play these hands?" What else would you want to play? Looks like a fairly decent number of hands to me. Maybe add all Aces or all other suited aces if that's too narrow but what's left? You wanna play 2 and 3 gappers? I wouldn't unless I've seen I can get the people still in the hand to fold preflop or with a C bet, but the read wpuod have to be pretty solid.
I just started but I started with poker phycology books and studying a probabilities based strategy and everything you said resonated quite a bit with me! Title should be renamed to "How to Win at Online Poker Over The Long Run (Just Do This!)" it would avoid confusion and get people thinking in terms of winnging over a series of games and not per game.
I have poker tracker and it seems most players on nlh2 have 20-30 vpip 15-20 pr and maybe q with 38 and up. Is it possible that nost nlh2 players are watchers of these kind of videos and were playing against eachother?
I mean I agree with those tips. But the main thing I have trouble with is sticking to those strategies, do you have any tips on being able to stick with that for hours of play on multiple tables??
I consistently finish in the money, but a little bit of luck is always involved. Just don't forget, you can't bluff idiots. They don't consider, at all, what you could possibly have, and they'll call you with literally any pair. Don't assume that other players know the game, even if they have a lot of experience. Also one last thing, if you're playing multiple tables at the same time you're going to miss tells and patterns from other players. It's tempting to play 4 tourneys or cash games at the same time, but you won't gain much valuable info from your opponents. Good points in this video, but these are all concepts that seasoned players have learned the hard way.
Yet Nathan that's a very good strategy but most the time you're going to have to open up your range especially at the end of the game when the big blinds go up because you'll find your stack depletes very rapidly and you all know what we're left with then right
On some sites playing micro stakes there is no strategy and would say no luck. I lost probebly 98 precent of all ins with high pairs like AA,KK pre flop to cards like J.4 , 3,2 , 7,10 and so.... There is no strategy for that..... So all of this you say dont mean nothing....
But even though you can choose a variety of tables there’s always someone with20$+ starting and me with$1, so they play around and go all in almost immediately, this messes with everyone and not fair!
on a real note .. the reason people do not have success at online poker is because of a software called DPC Dynamic Player control. This software was first notable around the early 2010's. Its purpose is to allow weaker players to "catch up" in the hands they play so the pros don't just always win, thus runnning off the noobies. If you truly want to win real money at online poker ....DO NOT PLAY ONLINE POKER. the cards are not random. and in the long run there are NO winners
This is not the best strategy tbh look into ranges of hands and position. GTO strategy plays more hands than this and it all depends on the positoin. He completely wiffed over low suited A's as well as other hands. This would probaly be a decent strategy for the newset of new players but thats it.
You are deeply over explaining suited cards in the hole, when you say they're suited, we understand. If you don't know this already then I personally don't think they will know to look for this video bro. I may be wrong though. Awesome video man. Really good info and straight 2 the point. Like it's supposed to be.
if youre so good at poker and making so much money? why are you making youtube videos and sharing affilliate links? are you really making that much money from poker?
Please stop disgustingly clickbaiting your subscribers. Winning poker is gaining ev over an extended period of time. You know this i dont have to explain you this. There is no way to "win at poker every time". You make pretty good poker content. Stick with that and be honest. Stop making titles like this please. Also. The hands you tell as to play "only if they are suited" no. Check modern poker theory or any other preflop range charts for six max cash games and ill tell you to raise all sorts of these hands. A10 off is raised from the lowjack and hands like 8 10 off are played from the big blind.

If you sit at the table and can't figure out who the fish is... it's likely you.
The easiest way it to just look at stack size. That’s it. That’s literally all
Lolll so damn true

Me and all my opponents watched this video, now we all win every time! In our last tournament, there was 98 players, we all placed in the top ten

Well, big blind can play anything isn't it? Just defend and see even if they are shitty hands, but if it's good raise or reraise accordingly.
Good advise for a cash game. Doesn't really work all the time to bet A high in some MTT when you just have no idea who are you playing with and don't have a tag for everyone yet while blinds are higher and higher.

The starting hands include 98s and 87s but not T9s. Was there meant to be T9s there?
10 9s are dangerous because you may flop jqk but someone may have A 10 or otherwise
@@cashg4044 T9s is more dangerous than 98s?

Does the aggressiveness work in live poker as well ?
What about A9 or below suited? At least see the flop or def not?
I mean I agree with those tips. But the main thing I have trouble with is sticking to those strategies, do you have any tips on being able to stick with that for hours of play on multiple tables??
Take consistent breaks
It is a kind of mental war that you have to fight against yourself.
do it for long enough and it will just become habbit, youl end up doin it without even thinking

What about 9 10 suited?
What if you play on an app that forces you to have a vpip of 20% minimum or you get kicked out of the table?
Wtf 😂
How can you recommend playing 9/8s and 8/7s but not 10/9s ?
It may have to do with the J thru A straights you may run into with 9-10 and lose .
