I am guessing blue strawhats could be like promo luffy that discards cards to bottom big bodies, so it has sense that this leader draws 2 each turn. Maybe a 9/9000 that discards three and bottoms anything could be huge for blue in general
Jinbei with Aladdin on KO effet that cheat a Vander deken is the only current line of play I see but until we see the fish-men support,I still believe in him
Small correction on Kyros: it flips the top Life card only. Opponent can still play around by not attacking, forcing you to flip with Viola or take with Flampe etc, but yeah it pops a 0 cost for the payoff. Gotta see consistent cost reduction, but it is satisfying to be able to chain 10c Kuzan and Yamato while popping another card with Leader ability. Wish he was better.
What's tough is 7c Kidd, which is SO good in RP Luffy, just seems terrible in BP Luffy. If you're going 2nd and aren't able to ramp (or going first and only ramp once) and then you're at 8 DON!!, if you use Kidd's -1 effect to go up 1k power, you go back to 7 DON!! and won't be able to use leader effect at the start of your next turn still. Leader seems crazy, but think there's holes to the leader that haven't been sussed out quite yet. Running 20 ramp cards doesn't seem like the best strat cause if you get to 9 or 10 DON!! and don't have any big bodies then you're kinda hosed.
Funny, got cut off a little bit and just finished the video. Blue straw hat searcher is my main wish. I don’t wanna run law Selfishly, I want another ramp and power increaser that is purple for RP 🤣 3 or less life requirement on ramp is good
What’s interesting abt the blurple Luffy is it seems giant isn’t even that good in the deck. Unless the blue straw hat package potentially introduced is jus blatantly better than the purple, your always going back one don per Sanji. Therefore giant will set u back behind leader ability so blast breath might be the better +4k. I also believe 5c Kidd will be massive for the deck just to make sure u never get put back more than 2 don at 10
I think this deck is probably going to have to lean more heavily into avoiding don minus effects and actually sit at 10 don. The only minus effects probably worth it are cards like 9mom which remove the need for a giant that turn unless you're pushing game next turn anyway where leader ability isn't relevant. It's why I think this leader avoids 7c Kid and is just a 6k instead of a 7k like RP.
Also seakings and megalo are most definitely gonna be yellow, not green. The official presentation calls fishman island one of the two main themes this set so it’s getting more than one color. Camie also won’t be able to search seakings or megalo so Shirahoshi will get the yellow card pool this time and really won’t necessarily have to play fishmen in green. In fact some fishmen like the new Arlong won’t work with her because she’s mermaid, not merfolk which is in the restriction
against doffy blue purp luffy can get to 10 turn 3 if going secondn they drop double "its to die for" (assuming the doffy cheated out a weevil or boa on their turn 2) so turn 3 theyre dropping 2 9ks and the opponent is going to 5 the next turn. (its to die for ramps 2 active don if opponent has a 6k on board)
I'm curious to see what OP11 cards will come out for this Luffy. There will surely be some good ramp cards featuring the Straw Hats, and maybe even a high-cost blocker Straw Hat in blue that bounce something (I think that would be pretty cool and provide good defense in the late game). All the other purple Luffys will probably benefit a lot from the new ramp cards as well.
Green fishmen already have Hody, both Arlongs and Vander Decken. All really good cards. A whole new set of green fishman could easily put them on the same level as other green archetypes. That being said, yeh Jimbei’s ability sounds very underwhelming. Isshou could already restand a character and it really didn’t help at all.
Love the rant about kyros which isn't really comparable to shira imo but also is just completely wrong because he only has to flip 1 life face up. Don't blame anyone for forgetting how that leader works though
Yooo!! Sup brotha good to see you in Orlando! Keep the videos coming
I still think RP is the main deck, but I had fun making a quick video for UP yesterday. Will be cool to see the support.

Good catch, there's a reason I stayed out of that conversation and said I won't even pretend to know what Kyros gameplay looks like 💀
reminder luffy 1 tapped king of the coast when he started his pirate journey
I'd actually love a Blue Straw Hat search top 5 XD. I'm forever coping on wanting a Blue/Green Straw Hat Zoro/Sanji build.
Luffy looks interesting but I think outside sanji he gets very little from blue compared to what red gives rp luffy
Yeah, gonna depend a lot on the support OP11 provides.
And it can't be purple or he's getting robbed by the other luffy leads @aidanklobuchar1798
marco 2.0

Blurple, finally
My favorite combo

@ agreed. That’s why I think 5 kid will be super important anything to let u keep pushing up to 10
Looking forward to restanding Hody with Jimbe. Hope he gets some good events

As a champion of fishmen fortress Yamato, hyped af for shirahoshi!

Zorojuro and Mr 2 are probably the ramp cards ud play
another baja blast cameo 🙏
Genuinely only want to play jimbe cause of the fish on his card
What if they make an onigashima for straw hats

Only in the comment section do I find out Kyros is even worse than I originally thought lmao
Isnt Jinbe basically Issho but type locked? Issho is locked with 5c or lower.
op09 zoro also ramps they need to make non attackers 6000 6 life
Well i guess I'm never playing blurple Kaido again.
Bruh why the hell did you spoil the shanks arm thing got damn
Shank's arm is the one piece
Blue Strawhat
Impel Down Luffy
Luffy is so mid, gets rushed down so bad.
