9:55 you are wrong about potato plants not respawning... I'm at Day 145.... I've gone BACK to my starter island x2 and gathered potatoes... Also... on my main Island... sometimes I can get potatoes from the original patch. It takes a long time but they do in fact regrow
@@TheProfessor785 you might have to leave the area to have them respawn, I recently went back to islands I visited on the way from tootorial island to my current base and mobs/plants have spawned back
@@TheProfessor785you might also have built a structure over a spawn zone. I had this issue with animals, had to go deep into reddit to know this. Ended up deconstructing my house and other stuff and moving it, by the next day I had animals spawn in. Not sure if animals spawn the same way as plants do, but that might help, not sure with plants.
well you can build chests look under where you build a shelf to go onto your raft or where ever there you will find a chest plus if you have visited enough islands and end up with 50 chests they become slightly redundant
Tip! I just figured this out. While palm trees do not respawn, they can be *placed*. I like to cut the palm trees until there is only one log section left then you can use them to add aesthetic to your base! Just lug them around like you would your raft then do some meticulous balancing and voila! Nice little cabana look to your base
Breaking storage containers? Blasphemous. Build a bunch of storage crate racks on a raft and completely pillage an island in one trip. Also, keep palms in bunches and you can fit more fronds per slot. Flashlights are way better for night diving. Clay is usually on the East side of islands.

I placed my corrugated and wood farm plots on the waters edge as far into the water as possible and they replenish themselves with water, no need to ever water them manually ..
@@actualpepega-w8y yea I meant the crates I guess auto correct changed it lol, the crates on console only have space for 3 things ( 3 slots), if you're on pc I guess you get lucky to have more space 😄:-)

Best theory I saw was that crabs were colliding with the rafts right before the game was rendered causing the rafts to become heli-rafts.
Possible 🤔 The life raft still flips when shark hits underneath or you run into a submerge shipwreck and bubbles. The rafts you build never flip now, only the beginning life raft. The player has no game weight. Can run through any object. Where animals have weight, can knock things over and move them by weight. Maybe that design was the original bug
This video has to be a joke. The tips are as sarcastic as the numbering.. Some actual tips: Use a torch when you go diving, use the lanterns to light your camp. Don’t use the palm fronds on water stills, they only provide 1 sip just like the leaves, instead use them on fires as they provide much more fuel as the leaves there! Also don’t use sticks for fires, they don’t respawn.. And obviously don’t destroy your crates!!!!

You can also use sticks to fuel fires but sticks don’t respawn (palm fronds too but these you’ll have plenty when you go scavenging and you can still use leaves when you eventualy run out).
is this worth buying? i found a ton of places claiming i can download it free for pc but we all know how that scam goes. the game looks sweet and i LOVE games like it so i dont mind supporting the devs by buying it. just wondering is it worth it.
Personally, i haven't played it in a bit, the best thing i can recommend is check their Steam Store Front page and see if they're still updating it, if nothing else the game (At least too me) was worth the money i spent on it
@@actualpepega-w8y I downloaded it from a site.. against my better judgement...it works. Haven't tested online mode yet. Raft is a bit buggy like it's super fast and flings me and my crates off in the air lol
For pipi and other herbs/fruits you don't get seeds, just have to replant the herb/fruit itself. For yucca, after you collected the fibrous leaves look at the top, there's a seedling you can pick that you can use to plant it

Can confirm at least on pc you can craft craft them under Crafting -> Furniture -> Wood Container, 2 planks 1 lashing.

For those on console.....dont break your chest containers, unlike pc, on console you cannot craft them sadly. Hope this helps.

You can replenish water still with fibrous leaves. You don't need palm fronds all that much. You can also replenish fires with fibrous leaves.

Dont need potato if you dont use engine ;-) Smoker can hold 6 part of meet. Sixth on fire (its only cook, dont smoke)

This game is addictive and plus you can play multiplayer with one other. Worth it definitely.
how do I get yukka & pipi seeds etc?
You can find them on any island! Just plant a Pipi plant or Yuca Fruit in a garden plot for an infinite supply!
