Game Details:
Play Novel: Silent Hill is an interactive story. At certain moments, the game asks the player to choose between two or more possible options which can affect the rest of the story. Besides the narration, the game features some puzzles and multiple endings. After reaching the end, a player is awarded Digital Trading Cards - 32 in total for all scenarios.
The game offers two main scenarios: one for Harry Mason and one for Cybil Bennett, available after completing Harry's scenario. There were also four additional scenarios available for download in Japan, which followed a boy named Andy, Harry and Cheryl's neighbor. However, Konami has since ended the download service.

At the very least silent hill games should have story options like this u really have to give players a choose your own adventure it’s what Separates horror movies from the games what would I do in this situation rather then it being on rails it helps immersion I’m actually very surprised at this for the GBA it’s actually pretty enjoyable

Hmm, this still uses my old translation. (It has some minor errors and awkward bits, and is sadly still on GameFAQs...I really need to update that myself.)
May I ask, where did this come from? I had worked with a group a few years back to update everything with a text dump of the Japanese and hired an editor to clean up my overly literal English. I had thought this new version of translation was going to be released as a patch for the ROM in 2022 or 2023.
