I still listen to their songs..Sunshine Day,Time to Change, Keep on Moving..I used to dream I was a Brady kid and the dream was very deep rich colors..they represent caring, happy, fun to be with siblings. Who can forget Cindy freezing on TV..she acted so great in that! Bobby worked hard too and had great scenes. I wander what it would feel like to be loved by millions in the 1970s ,but rejected for parts that weren't even as good as Brady. Barry has really ran with it, but I don't know if I could..it is work!
I really have enjoyed listening to just Mike and Susan's thoughts about the show and life in general.. Because it seems like they always get talked over when it is the entire cast..
Great interview. I think that we can all relate to having something in your life that at some points you need to distance yourself from, but at other points you can really embrace. Things can be 'cool' or 'uncool', it doesn't mean anything. I'm glad that the 'kids' all seem to feel fondly about, and appreciate 'being a Brady'... all things considered. Especially the end -- I've not heard Mike Lookinland speak to the Brady experience before.
The really odd thing about this interview was that when it was over, Mike and Susan were seen leaving the studio with a young Indian boy, and they were all eating beans from a flashlight.
At GlobalTubeTruth................. Your FUNNY!!!! LOL You Ever Thought About Being A Comedy When You Grow Up LOL You MIGHT Actually Get Paid For It! Ha! HA!...................................
They Brady's were a big part of my life when I was a kid. Back then,I wished I was a Brady. I was a lonely kid who was picked on everyday in school. In a small way it felt like the Brady kids were my friends. That show did a lot for me. It was good to have the Brady Bunch show a part of My life. I am now 63 years old and still watch the reruns all the time. I even know each episode by heart.
I am now 64 and I loved watching The Brady Bunch on Friday nights. I didn’t have close siblings & The BB was a major comfort to me. In the last couple weeks, I’ve been on a Brady nostalgia kick. It’s comforting me all over again / getting my mind off things.
Susan and Mike are both a few years older than me, but they were both heroes/idols to me. They were so happy in their T.V. family and got along sooooo well. Awesome!
As much as I loved the show, I feel badly for these people. They are trapped as these characters. Can't be anything else. Everywhere they go, people ask them about events that took place between '69 and '74. Sherwood Schwartz made a fortune off of the syndication. The Brady kids haven't made money off the reruns since the late 70's.
I just watched an episode of celebrity bowling with susan and mike against a couple of the walton kids and man did mike suck. Gutter ball after gutter bowl. Awesome fun stuff to watch! Great memories!
Laughed my head off when she said she couldn't keep her hands off of tiger. Of course it was a good show ppl spite things too much they had so many scenes that were just hilarious that anyone can relate to
They both look really good in this interview! I have seen some photos of Susan and other brady members where they really looked aged and not so good. But in this interview, she looks the way I would expect Cindy Brady to look.
Its interesting and I'm glad they all keep up w each other in other words they didn't just say bye 4 ever after the show ended they all kept in touch w each other beside messing w each other. Keep the peace.!!!! They still look very much alike.. lost brother and sister. ( TIGER) THE DOG.... STILL LOVE WATCHING THEM BRADY BUNCH AND CARTOON ONES AND THAT MOVIE. THAT WAS PROBABLE A 5 NOT GOOD. THE SHOW ON TV MUCH BETTER..... SO ARE THEY GOING TO RECREATE THE NEW BRADY BUNCH ON TV???? WHEN?? HOW COME ON THE SHOW THEY NEVER CELEBRATED ANY HOLIDAYS!!?? EASTER/ CHRISTMAS. .VALENTINE...BIRTHDAYS. MOM AND DAD ANNIVERSARY?? CURIOUS. WHY???? THE SILVER PLATERS!!! THE ONLY ANNIVERSARY. CAUSE ITS TIME 2 CHANGE. !! SHA NA NA NA NA NNNNNAAAA. LLLLLAA AWESOME !!@
Amazing how Mike Lookinland made the conscious decision as a 13 year old to essentially drop out of acting after (I would say sabotaging) his screen test for Swiss Family Robinson. He obviously did not want the part, preferring the life of a typical eighth grader.
I don't know exactly when this interview was conducted, but Susan Olsen comes across as pretty impressive. So...yeah, I watched the show as a kid, even the syndicated re-runs, but I have to admit as an adult that I cringe when it comes on. I guess you can say I have mixed feelings about the show.
Sad they thought people didn't think it was cool back then, it was one of only shows that had cool kids on it besides the show the partridge family but seems like people would think it's cool you were on any show and got paid, better that mowing yards for 3 bucks like I had to do for money when I was a kid not old enough to work yet
Susan Olsen has gotten crap in recent years for her politics, but I enjoy her in interviews. She’s very funny and matter of fact about her life and career, and she remembers EVERYTHING from The Brady Bunch. I think I would enjoy meeting her.
I say the Brady Bunch at Knott's Berry Farm and Mike Lookinland came right up to where I was at the back of the stage door and we talked and he said any time you are in woodland hills look me up
I looked forward to your variety shows each time they were on. I was sad to see them go away. All of you look like you were having a great time together! Just remember there are some of us out here who have not experienced what you have and not have ventured into the. Hollywood life. we lived what was "normal "for us at the time. We were just a family of six where both parents worked to make sure we had what we needed.
I was once on a cruise, and I ran into Mike Lookinland on the deck. He was leaning against a railing, one the starboard side of the boat. I asked him for his autograph, but he didn't pay any attention to me -- he just kept looking inland.
The two most normal, down to earth of the former Bradys. Susan , Mike , and Ann B Davis were all wonderful . The rest of them were on massive Ego Trips.
People doing casting must have been dumb in those days they were loved by a lot of people just having so having them in a movie or show would draw people to watch
The show meant nothing to him so no reason to keep it in memory. I can't recall a lot from when I was 16 either and I didn't have the hectic life he had.
Susan and Mike, I watched “The Brady Bunch” as a little kid during the 1970s. I explained to my now deceased foster brother, who had Down’s Syndrome, that all nine of you had real names and got paid to play pretend. He was unable to read because his school didn’t teach him.
Here our unstoppable and always clever youngest Brady's are the best to reconnect with, no matter the "variety" of time to change numbers we must reconnect with. Stay safe everyone!
These 2 have known each other since they were 8, or 9! 50 years later Mike and Susan seem like they really are "brother and sister".
They most likely hooked up in real life though, so I wouldn't say that
As weird as it sounds, I think these 2 were America's darling couple.
great insights by Cindy...........kitty carryall would be proud
She was so cute lol
LOL out loud. No insight. She was just an actress who played pretend.
She has an amazing recall!
I still love The Brady Bunch.
I still Love The Brady Bunch too !
So doI still Love The Brady Bunch !
Love them too!
The show meant so much to me!!! Every friday I watched it!
I think Mike Lookinland is a great looking guy! He seems really nice and I like the rapport between him and Susan.
Me too...he seems very nice, and turned into a great looking man.
Very down to earth.
I still listen to their songs..Sunshine Day,Time to Change, Keep on Moving..I used to dream I was a Brady kid and the dream was very deep rich colors..they represent caring, happy, fun to be with siblings. These two precious souls are a breath of fresh air every single time they are interviewed!
When Mike talks of turning down Swiss Family Robinson, he was turning down Irwin Allen, who was the producer of Towering Inferno.
Cool or not, I own the entire Brady Bunch series on DVD and I never tire of watching those episodes.
Lady Love same here
That's awesome totally rad
The really odd thing about this interview was that when it was over, Mike and Susan were seen leaving the studio with a young Indian boy, and they were all eating beans from a flashlight.
i thought i saw them eating hotdogs from the flash light
Hahahaaaaa!!!!
GlobalTubeTruth Robert Reed certainly enjoyed Sam's kielbasa.

Loved watching this show after my fave show The Partridge Family. Excellent line up❤
They Brady's were a big part of my life when I was a kid. Back then,I wished I was a Brady. I was a lonely kid who was picked on everyday in school. I am now 63 years old and still watch the reruns all the time. I even know each episode by heart.
I can very well relate to what you have experienced. It was the same way for me. I was very shy and as a result, not a popular student.
I am now 64 and I loved watching The Brady Bunch on Friday nights. I didn’t have close siblings & The BB was a major comfort to me. In the last couple weeks, I’ve been on a Brady nostalgia kick. It’s comforting me all over again / getting my mind off things.
The show meant and still means so much to me. It will always be my favorite sitcom, and so much more.
Susan and Mike are both a few years older than me, but they were both heroes/idols to me. They were so happy in their T.V. family and got along sooooo well. Awesome!
Love all of everything Brady, including the cheesy Variety show!
Me too! Cheesy or not, they are still fun to watch and bring back happy memories.
I'm still surprised they didn't date when they were older.
Kk9l,,mgum
Huh? Don't understand.
Why are you surprised? Their relationship was probably very sibling-like.
Susan has such gorgeous hair.. She is so gorgeous in this interview
She's had the same hair due as long as Brian May from Queen has lol 45+ years
As much as I loved the show, I feel badly for these people. They are trapped as these characters. Can't be anything else. Everywhere they go, people ask them about events that took place between '69 and '74. Sherwood Schwartz made a fortune off of the syndication. The Brady kids haven't made money off the reruns since the late 70's.
I would think they would make money for it now and other related projects like my fair Brady
Mike Lookinland should have gone into stand-up ... he's hilarious
Mike's younger brother, Todd looking and was also a child actor, too. From Ms. Harper Stacey.
The BB Variety Hour was a good kind of corny. I liked it!
Susan Olsen, your beauty is absolutely incredible.
I always thought Susan had beautiful eyes and a smile.......
I really enjoyed this conversation between you two. It's fun to reminiscence!
Being the youngest in my family, I always related to Bobby and Cindy..I also like Peter.
I just love these two so much.
I love the Brady bunch. I would always watch them
I just watched an episode of celebrity bowling with susan and mike against a couple of the walton kids and man did mike suck. Gutter ball after gutter bowl. Awesome fun stuff to watch! Great memories!
Thanks For Uploading This Video Vinnie Rattole :)............................
It's funny how they keep interrupting each other. They do seem like siblings.
They did grow up together on set.
Great chemistry with those 2
Oh yah, gonna get a copy of Alice's cookbook! Good to see them refurbishing the Brady house into what it was on the series
Both Susan Olsen, and Mike Lookinland display intelligence, and brightness about their careers, and Hollywood. Salut du Canada!
"Cindy Brady has an IQ of70!" lmao
Yes Bobby was in the Towering Inferno. Cool. Susan is still so cute.
this was the 90s
Laughed my head off when she said she couldn't keep her hands off of tiger. Of course it was a good show ppl spite things too much they had so many scenes that were just hilarious that anyone can relate to
They both look really good in this interview! I have seen some photos of Susan and other brady members where they really looked aged and not so good. But in this interview, she looks the way I would expect Cindy Brady to look.
This was 25yrs ago or longer
When was this taped?
I really like watching the Brady bunch alot I have been watching it for a long time
Its interesting and I'm glad they all keep up w each other in other words they didn't just say bye 4 ever after the show ended they all kept in touch w each other beside messing w each other. Keep the peace.!!!! They still look very much alike.. lost brother and sister. ( TIGER) THE DOG.... STILL LOVE WATCHING THEM BRADY BUNCH AND CARTOON ONES AND THAT MOVIE. Man...Susan Olson grew up nicely......
Susan looks a bit smitten with Mike.
I still think she was and is.
I wonder if they ever did the deed?
I don't think so
He was good in "The Towering Inferno ".
Amazing how Mike Lookinland made the conscious decision as a 13 year old to essentially drop out of acting after (I would say sabotaging) his screen test for Swiss Family Robinson. He obviously did not want the part, preferring the life of a typical eighth grader.
Michael also got a dressing down from Florence on the Variety show.
It was good advice not a dressing down.
I still watch The Brady Bunch!!!
Butch Patrick (Eddie Munster) ended up getting the role in Sid & Marty Kroft's Lidsville. I could see Mike in that role.

Oh Susan..Susan Susan Susan......if you only knew.
Wow awesome they look fantastic
I still love to watch the Brady Bunch and even if oldest or youngest..
Susan Olsen has gotten crap in recent years for her politics, but I enjoy her in interviews. She’s very funny and matter of fact about her life and career, and she remembers EVERYTHING from The Brady Bunch. I think I would enjoy meeting her.
Susan (aka, Cindy), looks hot! So gorgeous. 😍😍😍😍
I say the Brady Bunch at Knott's Berry Farm and Mike Lookinland came right up to where I was at the back of the stage door and we talked and he said any time you are in woodland hills look me up
Susan got past it, but here, she clearly is still in love with Michael.
I read she got really jealous because Mike had a crush on Eve when she started to develop!
Cindy (Susan Olsen) and Bobby Brady (Mike Lookinland)...
Susan.....probably Scandinavian heritage.....looks and personality....
This is a very old video people. They are about 58 and 59 now.
I looked forward to your variety shows each time they were on. I was sad to see them go away. All of you look like you were having a great time together! "Cool interview hearing from the 2 younger Brady kids!"
Susan got better with age. Hot.
Always sexy. It just took time to catch up to her 'sisters'.
Great people!
I was once on a cruise, and I ran into Mike Lookinland on the deck. He was leaning against a railing, one the starboard side of the boat.
I asked him for his autograph, but he didn't pay any attention to me -- he just kept looking inland.
That no vacation thing was a lie. 😀
Why does Lookinkand turn every answer into an epic story. Just answer the question.
The two most normal, down to earth of the former Bradys.
Susan , Mike , and Ann B Davis were all wonderful . The rest of them were on massive Ego Trips.
ABD: Jesus Freak
Really? Not a lot of room to put an IXOIC fish sticker on her Porsche...
People doing casting must have been dumb in those days they were loved by a lot of people just having so having them in a movie or show would draw people to watch
Wait Barry Williams had himself emancipated from his parents? Why?
Same reason other people do. To take control of their career from parents that aren't trustworthy.
YEAH THEY ALL SHOULD. GET. 2 GETHER. 4 A. RENUION. THAT WOULD. B SWEET.
"you blacked it out..." Susan o> lol
interesting interview.
I don't remember H R Puff N Stuff in Philly.
All of them still look good...
they do look like brother and sister. i hope they are doing well.
"cindy " is HOT ....
Nice "Iron Giant" movie poster behind Susan Olsen.
Watched every episode from the first run and on every episode and every movie on DVD now
Lookinland is annoying constantly butting in on Susan O
+Glenn Wheatcroft Yes, it irritated me as well.
Mansplaining!
Brady-splaining
I didn't mind so much because we hear from Susan all of the time. Mike not so often.
Showing his blonde hair, he looks like he and Susan could be blood siblings
I watch all things Brady everyday
Mike got to work with Paul Newman and Steve McQueen. Huge movie!!
O. J. Simpson and Robert Wagner were also in the movie, too. From Ms. Harper Stacey.
I loved watching the Brady bunch to miss the show
I was hoping this was a "shoot" interview about the brady bunch hour. :)
Still got a crush on her.
Susan is so beautiful.
How could Lookinland not remember doing the show when he wad 16 or 17.
Drugs and booze.
The show meant nothing to him so no reason to keep it in memory. I can't recall a lot from when I was 16 either and I didn't have the hectic life he had.
Pacino hardly remembers the 70s according to him and he was in his 30s then
Susan and Mike, I watched “The Brady Bunch” as a little kid during the 1970s. I explained to my now deceased foster brother, who had Down’s Syndrome, that all nine of you had real names and got paid to play pretend. He was unable to read because his school didn’t teach him.
I suppose i didn't like susans white hair pigtails . But you could not say that . You always had to say " it's really beautiful " oh yes .
Love both of you! Grew up with you! I'm actually one year younger than Susan!!
Thanks for sharing this
I love your profile pic. Donna Summer is my favorite singer. Rip

Here our unstoppable and always clever youngest Brady's are the best to reconnect with, no matter the "variety" of time to change numbers we must reconnect with. Stay safe everyone!
I can't think of any of the actors as anything else but Bradys. I grew up watching this great show, they are like family. I love these guys
I really Love Geri. She's always very Gracious to me.
He looks like he smoked about five joints in that thumbnail.
Dang young Mike, that’s a hellov hairline.
Bobby Brady ( mike lookinland) age and Susan Olsen
Susan's entire story about "Tiger" was brilliant.
