Trying to get enough people to do primals when they come back will be brutal.
Or mega legendaries like Mega Latios, Latias or in the future Mega Rayquaza. You think the primals will be brutal? Mega Rayquaza is going to bring total annihilation to any community outside of areas like San Fransisco that have tens of thousands of players.

Tbf, I think Mega Rayquaza’s difficulty would be like Primal Groudon more than like Primal Kyogre (unless it becomes 7 star) since it has that big weakness to Ice

The thing I’m mostly mad at is the increased price for remote raid passes. Before you could get 3 a week from the gym coins at max efficiency. Now you can get one from gyms a week and MAYBE two if you get lucky with research breakthroughs.
and then you grinded for those coins to buy remote raid passes and then you get a message "your Pokemon storage is full".
And then your item bag is full

Or to people who live in rural area and is currently the only person in the ENTIRE town who still plays consistently. It sucks I can't even get anyone to play this game let alone beat anything higher than a 3 star raid. And no legendaries equals 7% win rate in GBL PVP and when you are Level 43 and can't level up because you still need to win 30 Master League GBL battles, it's frustrating and annoying and sad and I wish this wasn't nerfed even if I couldn't barely even do remote raids to begin with 99% of the time.

@@Nevervorago Great and Ultra is fine that win rate % is for master league. and no I do not have a competitivly perfect garchomp and every time I bring it into GLB PVP the opponents team always has fairy types or shadow legendaries that 4 tap it.
I really like what the raid community turned into with easy access to remote raid passes and the invite feature so that you can more casually do a raid without having to do so much heavy planning. Now all of that is out the window because no one is going to accept my raid invite now and completing raids is going back to be as hard and annoying as it was before.

I started Pokémon Go about a year ago. I only have 75 legendary Pokémon. I found out about a discord server around November and this really helped. I spent so much money on this game. Me and other people that are new in this game we get very effective by this change. I wish Niantic could hear us.

This update sadly caused me to retire pogo. To hard to do raids in my area. And with the expensive raid pass just isn’t worth for me anymore. Love the content good luck!

Love the boosts to in person raids, except for the tiny fact that I won't be able to do the raids because they're impossible to solo and I have no options for doing raids in groups locally

Also I hate that they nerfed remote raids, traveling right now is very expensive and being able to communicate with players in other parts of the world and raid for an exclusive was the only way myself and I'm sure loads of other players would be able to even obtain certain pokemon. This change definitely makes me not care as much about playing daily. And that's saying a lot because I've loved Pokemon since childhood and in 2016 when this app came around it brought people together and for me personally I've met lifelong friends now because of it. But this "update" feels less like the game than it ever has in all these years.
I can agree,I’m a free-to-play player and rely on Pokémon in gym’s for my poke coins which with the price doubled means I can get less pokemon,because of this i can get 1 legendary per week if they wanted to buff the price it should at most be 150 poke coins.
Imagine the pain for when shiny Tapu Bulu releases. The closest gym in my area is a half hour walk.
Today, I tried hosting a Lugia raid. I used poke genie the moment the egg hatched and didnt got people until it finally disappeared. Seems like this is it for people who dont have a local community or live in the center of a city.

I don't mind them wanting to focus on us getting back outside. Raising the price isn't the way. They could have raised the catch chance in person. The could have awarded more stardust and candies for in person. They could have gave big damage bonuses for in person. Especially to balance out the lack of remotes joining. They could have made better shiny chances. The xl candy is not enough to balance the berf
They should give much more benefits to people who are going back outside. For me kinda opposite, remote raids and go battle league destroyed the game. Now only cheaters and rich people on top who never walked a km just like other games.

Me for example, sometimes when its like rally cold and snowy then remote is great, when its warm and sunny then i go out. I dont care if other ppl playing from the sofa or if the play in the park. I play my game and they play like they want.

It is very frustrating to keep getting matched against cheaters: People with more than 2 shields, people who switch more than once in a row and who change speed of the attack moves

@@emanuelfer456 It's not the players fault, Niantic won't fix GBL. I play over a thousand matches every season of GPL and I rarely encounter cheaters. Most of the time it's just a glitch or lag that lets them use a third shield.

Yep, last time I ever saw 20 people was during 2021 Go Fest for me. I was at a college where I got my first Shiny legendary (Rayquaza) and even one of my personal favorite legendries Zekrom, Reshiram and Kyrum.
You definitely will in popular places still, like New York, LA, Miami, Sydney Australia, Auckland New Zealand, zargooza Spain, London UK, Tokyo, and other big cities around the world. 💯

Coins reward for in person raid hardest hitter would be great. Not a fan of the xl candy because they are taking away the rare candy in place of. All 3 rewards would be a great incentive.

Honestly I agree with the remote raid descion, because it is truly the main purpose of the game, but changing the price by 2x is insane, atleast lower the normal raid passes by 50 coins.
The price increase really sucks but what is killing me especially being a rural player is the limit. I virtually won't be able to raid because of the limit. I had a hard enough time finding enough people to do raids before this update. If I try to do any and people I raided with remotely have used there 5 a day I won't be able to do them at all. So raiding is pretty much out for me due to this change.
It seems Niantic always does something crazy stupid once a year, we get angry, then Niantic responds back with something pretty darn good. Not holding my breath for this one though.

Niantic is doing this because as how much a cash cow remote raids are i think the bulk of pokemon go's revenue comes from selling the location data they gather from players. And when the community just remote raids, they dont get their precious data that they sell to the big companies.

i totaly disagree, what made the game what it is was accualy going out and meeting ppl...some ppl being rural or having other ishues that make this bad don't change how the game was made ahd what its goal was when it came out...and that was not ppl siting in ther sofa. if there is no reason to leave the house for this game i would quit it instantly...the worste part about this change is really the cost...other things are generaly fine unless you are in the category i mentioned above.

I've said it many times before. I don't mind the 5 remote daily limit. I don't mind the damage nerf. It actually makes sense. The price hikes is where I have an issue. I get increasing prices to discourage using them, but for rurals and disabled players, it pretty much makes the game unplayable if you can't find a way to travel to a more populated area
even then if they travel it wont really matter for most places i live in a big city and i NEVER see anyone in 5 stars so i usually have to use my daily free pass on a 1 star or 3 star if i can solo maybe ill try during raid hour from now on

Honestly, the game desperately has needed another way to get F2P coins for a long time now. Relying on gyms is inconsistent as hell. Sometimes you put a Pokémon in and it gets knocked out 2 hours later. Other times your Pokémon is stuck in the gym for 4 days straight.
One time at our park a gym had the same 6 Pokémon in it for 34 days before another team gave them the boot.
@@Wizard_Lizard_ Been a big problem for me for years. My personal record was 341 days in a gym, and its kinda shitty to only get 50 coins for defending that long when others can get the same amount of coins in just over 8 hours.
I really want to go get tapu bulu when it comes out but I can’t because my friends might not be able to join and I don’t live near a gym…
there is a glitch where redoing the same raid twice with a remote raid pass if you fail to beat it the first time counts as another raid out of the 5 raid limit
If only Niantic listened their player base communities.
This showing how much Niantic is pushing us to use money outside of their game to play their game. They say they want to 'play as you explore', but this is showing more of a 'travel to play our game'. Not all can travel with ease that Niantic thinks their player base can(due to disabilities or weather).
Add finances and time to traveling, amplified if rural. I don't live on Pokestops like a fifth likely do.

Commenting over a week from remote raid changes. Haven't been able to get a single tier 5 raid outside of raid hour. It reminded me of tier five before the remote raid passes. You had to get a bunch of people ahead of time to schedule the raid. I'm much too busy and often missed out on many of the cycles. The last couple of years made it possible to catch a five tier raid when no one was available and pick up some extra legendary candy.

Niantic wants people to go out and walk. They should include remote raids as a bonus for walking. Hit 50km a week one guaranteed remote raid pass 75km 2 etc
Still a bit unfair towards disabled players, but at least it would be something for players who are able to walk. Compared to close to nothing now.
@@dani-mana youre 100% correct re: disabled people but they can't suggest it's because they want people walking when there's little reward for walking. There's so much more they could do. Swapping 3 premium raid passes for 1 remote. Putting remotes as a 5% chance in research tasks. Again gets people walking and disabled people could get them if they have local pokestops.

Bro the remote raids helped me so much when I came back to playing the game in early 2020 I was so hyped on getting a legendary finally(mewtwo). I live in a non rural area but I still don’t see many people raiding in person so now my luck with shiny legendarys and just playing in raids will now never happen the same. Niantic it ain’t safe to have people in the streets anymore life’s differentiate wish niantic could be different.

you have always been able to get a greater chance at more Golden Razz berries, revives, and rare candies when in-person raiding
Not being able to remote raid for me, kinda kills the game for me. I am a caretaker for my uncle who has limited mobility. So remote raiding was a way for me to raid and still be interested in the game because it let me grind raids since I can’t spend 1 hour or more walking around catching Pokémon or driving around my desert town for raids. I know many players in my city but everyone works and have their lives so it’s hard to just go raiding in person when you need at least 5-7 ppl for raids.
Yea very bad decision to be honest I’m a teen and now I gotta pay 2 dollars for a remote raid pass instead of 1 dollar and the limit doesn’t really bother me but the 2x price definitely does

Niantic did respond. Basically, they are going to do what they want and don't care about disabled people, rural players, etc.
For me this isn’t an issue, but for lots of others it really sucks, feel bad for the people who can’t afford or have access to be able to go around and play.
Fr I live in a rural area and I HAVE MAX 1 person joining my raid or Pokémon go you make it so legendary raids are 1 person doable ,or you rework the intire gym and raid system you can’t take something away from us without giving something back

When the people that grind at this game put 100s of dollars in it y wouldn’t they raise the price on everything. I bet the limit of 5 gets raised or dropped altogether before the price goes down. Especially when they start seeing people still buy the passes but can’t use them as much. It doesn’t help that he just bought the pack instead of taking a month and going cold turkey on remote raids to “boycott” this update. I get it’s for the video but if we all stopped putting money in it it might get them to change this.

I know this will sound rly dumb, but I heard somewhere that they made the box prices random a while ago for each player. To see how much everyone is willing to pay for something. (Complete bullshit ofc and a greedy move from them).

It’s time to bring back the invitation only ex raids as well. I haven’t been able to get people to join remote raids or even do the elite raids in person. The game just might be close to its end of days.

This whole thing is absolutely dumb. Everyone realizes there are no prizes right? There are no leadership boards. You don't get anything other than your own satisfaction. So if this is the case why the hell does anyone care how we play the game. Who cares if you only remote all day or even spoof? It doesn't affect anyone else. The whole stupid game is supposed to be fun and for our own personal enjoyment since no prizes so why does Niantic do this? Simple, they want the foot traffic to certain places so they can get money from sponsors.
If we can solo legendary raids itll be cool, its hard to find somebody to raid with in my area
The funny thing is that my first ever lugia was a shiny and it was my first shiny sadly I probably won't be able To get another shiny legendaries as I had raided before the update was put in place gl mystic7 for the future of grinding for shinys

This is what I have been saying. Covid ruined Pokémon go with the remote raid passes and idk if there is a way for them to fix it. People got too lazy and will still pay the prices for the remote raids. I miss meeting other PoGo players and bragging about our catches
@@briwhitmire8456 Sorry, but for me time runied it not COVID. As the game got older, less and less people could be bothered going out to play, that's just a expected behaviour of a older game. Sure, COVID probably accelerated it but for Niantic to still think that people want to go outside in groups to play is naive. Personally I have no problem with the 5 limit, but the almost 200% increase in purchase is two faced part of this decision that annoys me the most. In my local currency one remote raid pass is $1.93!!!!! I could get more value for money out of a gambling app, not that I'm in to that.

I don’t do remote raids often but I am not a fan of the huge price increase because my sons like to buy them occasionally. This makes it almost too expensive for them. I did get to use Campfire for the first time this weekend and made some local contacts. We had a full lobby yesterday which was awesome. I wish we had Campfire when primal raids were on!

Hear me out. There’s only one way to make this right if they refuse to back off the remote raids.granted it’s not much help for the twitch streamers (sorry Brandon). They need to make all raids including 5 stars a difficult solo-able raid. That way if you grind for the right counters you can get your legendaries without having to rely on people who aren’t showing up.
ive had 2 insane incenses: the firat was a shiny 90% nosepass and a galarian bird spawn, and also a shiny natu with a mamoswine and gengar that i caught. is it any good?
I personally don't care so much about remote raiding. I'm happy to go out to gyms to do raids. For me, it's more about getting enough people to do a higher-tier raid in a more rural area. I wish they'd compensate by making legendaries/megas easier to take on with a group of 2-3 people. Like if they had an option where you could face a slightly easier raid boss and get a lower-level version of the Pokemon to catch (i.e. lv. 10 instead of lv. 20 base) and maybe even with like a lower shiny odds to make it worthwhile to still do the usual legendary raid I'd be happy. IDK you could go further with the downsides like lowering the IV floor too for the easier raids. I just can't consistently get a group of 5-6 people together to go grind out raids.
Well can you help do something about it like your other RUclips friends are doing. You call yourself the mystic leader, then lead.

Gonna be honest, I like the change to only allow for five raids a day. The fact that Pokémon go allows for shiny legendary Pokémon with 1/20 odds to be transferred to other games where the odds are 1/4000ish is ridiculously OP, as the other alternative would be soft resetting which can take from days to months at a time. In Pokémon go, it can take you an hour or less to get the shiny with infinite remote raids. I understand that you’re paying for the raids, but to the average player who doesn’t pay for the raids it will make the shiny legendaries you do have considerably more rare going forward. Still think the price increase is kinda pointless tho.
I was at my local mall today and it was packed. Tried using Campfire to get a group together to raid a Lugia and we could only get 4 players together :/
Yea I got an invite a couple hours ago and saw the prices of the remote passes is so bad
Thankfully they added the campfire but still some people don’t know about it yet so some people show up late to raids especially elite raids but we lucky found a group of people doing elite raids
This sucks, I don't have a lot of gyms near me so remote raids were the main way I raided. Now it'll take me 4 days minimum to get one pass.
It hurts especially if you’re f2p as you need to buy remote raid passes, Pokémon storage and item bag storage
I live in a small town where only a few of my friends play Pokémon go. 5 people won’t be enough for a primal groundon or kyogure. This change really sucks for me
Niantic's vision for the game is simply not feasible anymore. The pandemic made sure of that. Once we got remote raids there was no going back, but they're clearly still clinging to that last shred of hope that maybe they can axe them completely (they can't; we'd literally riot and they know it or else it'd have happened by now).
...also as a long-time Shiny hunter, seeing you transfer Shinies like this is painful.

what does everyone use to find groups to raid?
I am a newer Pokémon go player, and this update effects me so much. I live in a area with no nearby poke stops, so I can only get poke coins from gyms near school, which means my poke coins are very limited. I have a total of 170 right now. It so hard for me to get poke coins, and thus raids.
how are u even able to transfer shinies it wont even let me
i even have the mythical/legendary transfer thing enabled in the settings
@Mystic7 definitely check the year some of those shinies you throw in the graveyard are... they did a Silph study and the lucky chance increases by 5% for each year that has passed, up to a max of 20% at 3 years old. So like that Turtwig for example would be a 20% lucky chance. granted it's only once a day if it's a shiny, but you can do it on a day you aren't doing any other special trades. have gotten a good amount of luckies sending older shinies to other folks for random stuff i want lucky, like Gimmighoul (needing that hundo still). Good luck with all your content moving forward, i enjoyed watching your streams on Twitch but realize this change will definitely hurt that type of content.

@@BloxxBaxter that’s totally different, random lucky chance being higher on old Pokémon is still a worthwhile bonus. Helped me get every Vivillon form lucky easier without needing to hunt down a lot of people. Also as someone with over 200 lucky friends mostly overseas…it’s not even possible to do those trades.
I hate that niantic raised the price of remote raid passes because there are only about 3 gyms in my area, so to get even 200 coins is already really difficult without money and Im not gonna use money in mobile game. after this update i don't think i will play pokemon go much anymore.
We’ll time to get my legendary from go battle because I don’t have a local community so I can’t do in person raids
And even though I will be doing gyms to get raid passes it’s still not efficient.

sadly, the only times i'll be able to raid is at my friends house, which I only go once a month on com days :(
I hate the new remote raid rules
3 guaranteed xl is not enough. They said they want more people to join master card league but the raid boss only lasts a week or 2. Does niantic really expect us to raid five times a day? LMAO
