You know sometimes I'll complain of having to go up a flight of stairs and head across the parking lot so I can throw my trash into a trash house but then I catch one of your videos and I realize what a big baby I can be. You rock Michelle!💪
Disclaimer: I’m old. I take Ibuprofen before I watch your channel. Watching you work so hard reminds me of the days when I could work like that. You are my hero!
Never would I have thought that I would enjoy a channel of this nature but I am obsessed watching your videos. I love your builds, your diehard ambition, your ability to to seemingly never stop, your relationship with your hubby and lastly your love for your animals. (On top of all this you are a nurse continuing to giving yourself to others, I sincerely hope that you take some down time for just you). I am excited to see notifications of new content. Thanks so much for making my days! I can't wait to see how the Cabin on the Cliff turns out!

For some reason I am compelled to keep watching these videos. I think it is because Michelle is so determined in each of the pro-jects that she undertakes. I will say that, since she does so much solo, there is concern that she will be injured. I know she is a nurse, which is good. Be safe.
I am watching this from 10 months ago. This episode was totally awesome. It was actually like watching a frontier movie about a super hot settler building a Home in the woods.

Michelle, truly enjoyed spending the last 36 minutes with you....and Clyde. Those boards obviously don't come easy but throughout this video I kept thinking about all of the great projects you will be building with these materials. Now you have me inspired to do a bit of woodworking myself. Thanks for Sharing!
A log skidder to pull behind the ATV would help get alot of those logs out of the woods and onto the trail where you can load them with the Bobcat. My back aches just watching you work! Haha
Well Michygoss! Now you now why Michael Palin sung the Lumber Jack song, he must have seen Michygoss in the forest.😊 One must be sharp in order to get dull.😊 Good job Michy.
Any day outside in the forest is better than an office. Very cool you can pick out logs from your own property. The milled wood looks gorgeous. Lots of hard work now but you will enjoy at cabin. Oh Clyde- he is so adorable and glad he was found. Have a great day.
Women like you continue to inspire me. I do a lot of things on my own and figure it out and this is very self-empowering. What is even more empowering is you ask for advice from your followers. You're cheeky and you Rock!!!!!
Very interesting to see the mill in action. Have the guy that brought the logs bring you that truck full of #2 and 3 stone, put it down in the muddy areas, it will be an uplifting experience and well worth the expense.
Art, even milling, is not about time the spent but the quality and love in the finished product, you have that quality and touch and that is why we love you.
Just fantastic Michy, you are mastering the saw , the birch looks lovely , there's always uses for flitchers,. Ps be careful and and like putting safety glasses on you also have to be safe with your lower back 👍✨🌞🐝🌲
Hi Michy, always enjoy your content. Here are a few suggestions. I don't own a saw mill, but I am an avid woodworker. 1) Get your wood yard stoned. You will be out of the mud! 2) I highly recommend you watch a few video from Outdoors with the Morgans on RUclips. They also have a large wooded property. Mike (Morgan) does a lot of wood sawing. See how he uses his machinery to maneuver the logs. Hope this helps.
@@michygoss7148 any other tricks? Lmao I accidentally cut my log stop last week what a rookie lol I tried using wood n the log I put off of course rolled to fast n was massive n broke so I'm trying to figure out something new
Michys busy beaver mill, that was some clean birch. Typically the other birch tree they would have ripped out the clean parts, leaving only select. Birch is also used in cabinets and furniture. Take care and be safe, and God bless amen.
Clyde reminds of my old walker hound I had as a kid. there were many times we would leave him in the timber because he was on a good track of a racoon. come back the next morning and there he was by the front gate of our farm. got to love stubborn hounds.
Glad to see you out an doing somethin constructive. Think your doing a great job with all your milling. I just love to watch you do what you do best and that is making your own materials for your project's that you are building. Keep up the great work that you do and don't get hurt or freeze todeath. Yes he does!!! He is just the cutest fella. Hard to believe he was left unadopted for a whole year, no one wanting him. Everyone saying bad things about him (dumb, could never live in a home etc). Love him to bits!
Mention was made by others of using an automated log feeder . No doubt that accessory costs plenty and not justified for full time unless you use your mill more. That said, it is not worth killing yourself and depriving viewers of your great videos, MIchelle. That huge pine required machine handing for sure even though a rare event. Greetings from your side of the border... we are in Quebec City attending the CAPA conference. A suggestion for your grass and muddy areas; look on FB Marketplace for used plastic pallets. They are usually 42” x 48” and ~6” high. I volunteered t an arboretum for~10 years. In areas where bobcat, gator, ambulance traffic may take place they used concrete grids to form driveways to support vehicles while allowing water and grass through. I accomplished the same effect on my property using recycled plastic pallets at a fraction of the cost, weight and preparation. All are perforated and designed to hold significant weights on slopes where slipping may occur, I used short lengths of rebar or scrap pipe pounded into the ground, pinning the pallet. Wishing you, Steve and your furry kids a blessed week, gentle autumn weather and restful evenings. Peace princess
