I'm a grumpy old Vet and don't always have the nicest things to say, but I absolutely loved the Bob Ross bit and photoshop picture. Huge smiles!!! Lightened up my day and attitude immensely !!!
😂
Yup...agree 👍!! That was a good boost to morale!!
👍🦊🧙♂️🐺👍!!
SMILE, GRUMPY OLD VET!!!! 😊🥰
That's GREAT!!!!! IT WAS FUNNY I had to rewind 😂😂
The Bob Ross segment was hilarious. I bet it took a bunch of takes to do that without totally cracking up 😂
I am always amazed at how patient Spencer is doing his work on the container. Pretty original blue!
I kind of like the rustic, honest, industrial look of the unprettified container...just saying. ;)
Spencer is amazing! Patient, hard working, doing everything! What a great guy! Well done Spencer.
Especially with this crazy lady tailing him with a camera, bugging him constantly...lol.... ;-)
Yes he is very patient….all the nervous laughing and jokes is getting annoying ….and old
I think building a tiny container playhouse for the kids would be kind of funny. A little mini me container house!
ooooh....especially because they have all the cut outs from both builds to use!!!!
No enough containers, Build them a Tree House. Give them their own identity.
I love how Spencer goes along with the things Kenzie comess up with, Bob Ross. 😂😂😂 That's true love.❤❤❤
Look at that young man climb up the ladder, he’s growing up so much! Both of the kids are doing what they do, growing up.
That little boy growing so quick, already climbing ladders! Still luv watching !
He was looking around like he was getting away with something.
Your children are growing up so fast! Seeing Cam climbing on the ladder and beautiful Beau walking around with her purse like a proper grown up lady is mind-blowing! Y'all are such a gorgeous family! Yes, Spencer is gorgeous, too!
Beautiful little family, hellooo!!! I’m so glad y’all are still allowing us to share your life journey even though your house is complete. Two quick thoughts: 1) McKenzie, your filming/editing skills are well complemented by your music selections! 2) I totally believe you when you say some of your fondest memories were when you lived in the little trailer. I think when many of us reflect on our early days of building our little families, the days of struggle seem some of our happiest. I suppose that’s because we survive them and because we share them with those we love most.
I continue wish you well. And as always, send you lots of love energy from my little family. Hugs!
Just so you know… This is my favourite RUclips channel! Yeah, I'm in the UK. 🇬🇧. I love you guys! Mackenzies' laugh is so infectious! Spencer you are one lucky guy! 😢
I think putting the primer on all the rusty spots is a great idea. I think I would get a paint sprayer and just do the entire container. Time is money and the sprayer method will help you complete the projects much better.
Also invest in sand blaster much quicker than grinding it.
Love the bob ross impression lol. Also love the videos y’all produce and y’alls cute little family ❤. Keep up the hard work and it will pay off
*For a few months now I have been searching tirelessly for information on how to start investing. I even payed $1000 for a course that I now regret. It appears that there is no structured guidiance for beginners on how to get started in this realm. I've come across several investors making well over $250k/annum and would be grateful if anyone on here could provide insights on how to get started, identify potential stocks, when to make an entry, exit etc.*
Keep it simple in the beginning. Buy something, like an index fund, and hold. Educate yourself in the meantime and elevate your risk tolerance over time.
My girl friend who passed away Jan 6 was thaught by Bob Ross 30 years ago the Bob Ross deal gave me big chuckle. Thanks for a great time.
She wasn't good enough to marry
I'm sorry for your loss
@@TracyCampanella Thanks she was perfect companion. Unselfish loved much
Mackenzie, your funny personality is rubbing off on Spencer. I really liked hearing him talk when he was on the top of the container. I can't remember if your house containers had that many stickers.
Love and best wishes to you all, from Mike. ❤
I'm sure you've heard other viewers say "I love your videos" but I'll say it and truly mean it. Having watched Life Uncontained from the very beginning to now I've enjoyed every moment.
I appreciate your feelings, but Bill, you are not the only one that means it, in fact I'm willing to bet that EVERYONE means it. No one has a gun to their head being told to write "I love your videos".... There are a ton of us who have been riveted from the beginning.... a ton of us who don't like hearing 'that' music 'cuz it means the video is about to end.
Time to grow the family. In just another dozen years you’ll have a small army to help and to teach all these wonderful skills. A deal for all involved! Great job.
I think it would be really cool to put the bedroom on the roof with a deck for a much better view
I AM screaming out loud!!! Too funny! I used to enjoy watching Bob Ross on Saturday’s! Spencer, your humor had me in stitches!!!
You two are fabulous!!! Love your sense of humor and play. 💛
I'm amazed at the work you two have done. I've been watching your channel since the beginning. No babies at first. The barn, the trailer. Now you have a home and more! The kids are getting big. Wishing you the best life has to give.😍
Me too, I’ve never missed an episode
LOVE Cam climbing and Bear's and Ios' happy, waggy butts❤❤ Not to mention the Fashionista Beau and her beautiful handbag!!💚💜💙Spencer as Bob Ross was awesome😎 Taking the stickers off is a fiddly job but the finished product is so great! You are making great progress🙌🙌🙌🙌
I love watching you guys!!!
Please listen to your husband. He’s the one who has to do the work.
I think the next project should be an under ground storm cellar. Maybe another container in ground. It scares me when you have storms and your area has the potential of tornados.
Yep, they’re on the fringe of “tornado alley”
You two are so funny❤️ Good work with the heat gun and half broom👍. Love your family❤️
If i was as calm as spenser i will solve every problem in my life 🤣🤣
Always glad to see you beautiful family.
You know we love the channel when you get us to sit for 20 watching Spencer pulling grind and pull stickers lol. Definitely ready for window and door installation.
Your rendition of Bob just cracked me up! Too funny!! Love how Beau likes to wear her dresses and be lady like❤️ Cam is such a little man now. Even climbing a ladder. Wow! How time flies. Lovely family 🥰🇨🇦
OMG Spencer Ross 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I cracked up when I saw his photo and then heard him. 🤣🤣
Thanks for the laughs!!
Cam climbing the ladder reminds me of when I was a little boy and I would try to climb up the ladder like my Dad when he was painting the house. It scared the heck out of him to see me 10 feet off the ground.
Imagine having a record of every place your containers had been transported to in their ‘lives’ ( wonder if there are any haunted shipping containers?)
I’m sure if Bob Ross was still with us he would have appreciated the shout out ! The guest house is looking great. Love the channel. All the best from Ontario Canada
Spencer doesn't understand the concept of "sudden gusts of gravity", apparently. 😂
I’m a pipe welder and work with metal every day. Another idea for getting those stickers off would be a wire wheel for that grinder he has. The grinding wheel will take off some of the metal along with the sticker making the already thin metal even thinner. I highly suggest the 4” wire wheel for the grinder to remove stickers and paint from metal 👌🏻
Nice Job On The Container You Two, Can't Wait To See the Final Results! Have An Amazing And Blessed Weekend!
After this one you may need a break from building container homes. It would be nice to see you set up your on vegetable and fruit trees garden, and also stock the pond with fish! I really enjoy watching your channel! A great escape from the madness! 😊👌
Sand the edges of stickers, then a few layers of paint with feather edging will both hide and preserve stickers. When my wife insists something needs to be done that doesn't, I hand her the tools and go take a nap.
Every stage of life has its special memories, some better than others. Being retired seems great but with it comes age and pains. Single and free is good, married with kids is better, and retired with grandkids is best. Camping has been the one constant is our lives...
Watching others live their lives on RUclips is a great fill in during retirement also.
Automotive body shops and car dealers use a ruberized wheel for a grider to remove stickers from cars. They work very well.
Gorgeous doggies!!! Beautiful children!!! Love that Bob Ross!!! 🖌️ 🎨 🤗🎶❤️💖👏👏👏🇨🇦
Ha ha ha this is so funny. Thank you all. Enjoy all the videos. ❤️
The heat gun is satisfying. I removed several layers of paint on my woodwork. Just watching it bubble up made me happy.
Ever think of drilling a hole in the corner of the container so that puddle of rain naturally drains off. Could then easily plug it when the container is sealed in. Love your video’s.
Spencer, try using a flap brush disc on your grinder. it looks like a bunch of sandpaper layers. it works good for rust and laminated stickers while not gouging the metal as bad as a grinding disc and can also be used to dress up your welds after grinding.
That's what he is doing.
They are in this for the You Tube cash but they never respond. Zero thumbs up from me.
To take the bends out of the roof you can use a 2x4x8 and a jack to bend it up.
A torch works better than a heat gun. We use em all the time in removal. We make decals for the rail industry
"Oh yeah that's nice, quite glorious" 🤣 Oh my gosh thank you for the bob ross voice over ! 💝 loved that!
leave the printing on the outside walls, clearcoat them, for a nice artsy crafty "rustic" look. Much mote interesting than primer blue. No need to match the house.
Spencer, drill a small hole in the corner so the water can keep draining and when you get it closed in you can weld the hole back up. I love the dogs they are family to. And the kids are growing up so fast. Give Beau and Cam a big hug for me and tell Bear and Io I said Hi. God bless you all
yalls son is so cute... and loved daughters outfit yall are blessed & have a beautiful family
Ha ha. I was shouting "Heat gun and scraper is the only way!".
Glad you heard me. 😀
Spencer , you’re so calm and patient !!! You’re doing a great job 👏 🎉
Your children are so adorable 🥰. The baby is getting so big ! And Beau with the pocketbook is hysterical 😂!!!
Is spencer going to be’flashing’ the windows if we’re going back in time 🤣🤣
8:28 Funny to hear Kenz laughing in the background. :)
Ms Bo just doing her thing and Mr Cam growing so fast and climbing ladders like Daddy. Y’all are doing a fantastic job with both family and work. Sending love from Mississippi ❤
Dont you just LOVE Kensies laugh???!!!
Between the rust and the stickers and all the issues the container creates… it just feels like building the same size structure with traditional building materials would be a lot less headaches and probably cost about the same. But I’ve only built with typical materials… I’ve never built from a container so I just going off of seeing this process.
But this way creates social media profits ;)
After you finish this one and make a playground for the kids with swings etc.
You have to do a floating barge day bed and BBQ area so you can BBQ on the water
I love the Bob Ross bit, talked just like him. Too funny. It's amazing the color the container use to be once the stickers came off.
Spencer's Bob Ross impression had my crying laughing! Great team you guys. You must be so proud of your hard work.
Your work may be a bit tedious right now, but, in the long run it will pay off beautifully. Good job guys
Oh my goodness! Just looking at your pictures will make anyone who's having a bad day happy. It's obvious what am amazing photo. How are you doing today? Love to hear from you
We used dry ice to remove the stickers on our storage containers. It freezes the glue instantly and they come off with little effort. We did 3 containers that took an hour each...
Doing great on this project. Thank you for sharing. 🌸
You might want to look into ospho for the metal container, it's relatively cheap, and a little goes a long way
Linda família 😍 filhinhos lindos!
Woa .Linda familia actually is Swahili meaning protect family.I love different languages means different things
I think you should paint the container house similar to the original colour. It’s lovely
Kenz is a delicate flower that bends in the gentle breeze.
Cam is getting so big it’s crazy!!
Oh I love Bob Ross and we also have so many fond memories as well! Again..Thank you for taking us along with your journey!! 🙏❤️🥰
Spoke to soon and I am cracking up 😂😆😂
..."you'd fall like a box of rocks" now THAT is comedic gold!
Uncontained Painting needs to be a regular segment lolol
“It’s spreads so easy. Oh yeah. That’s nice. It’s quite glorious.”
may be a torch to burn the stickers would of been much faster and less time consuming
great work
love it
Never take construction advice from someone who says "would of"...
when are you guys going to create an awesome garden area??
jack up the corner of the container holding water bo it drains out the double doors
use a leaf blower to get that moisture off and dry it
Maybe Mackenzie should get in there and peel off the stickers instead of telling Spencer to do it.
For real.
I agree! C’mon
If she wants the stickers off then she needs to be the one to do that job.
You can tell he is thinking holy shit there goes 3 days of progress on stuff that really needs to be done first.
She pushes him and gets him slightly aggravated then laughs at him. So disrespectful.
He is too good natured to tell her to stop.
I would almost say that the original Blue would be a great vibrant color for the cabin.
How’s the pond looking? I agree a play area with swings would be great for the kids
Looking nice so far and yes and yet the excess paint horse stickers need to come off.
I'm amazed at the unbelievable long time it takes with a heat gun to pull off all those stickers. About like watching the grass grow. Hell of lot more patience than I'd have. I would have pulled out the big guns with sandblasting it all and using airless spray gun to put both roof paint and new sealed sides of the container. Bravo for your chill, calm reality of the heat gun method.
4:42 Dang I actually teared up a little.
Mackenzie and Spencer, your Life Uncontained channel is my favorite guilty pleasure. This episode had me laughing with both of your’s humor. I stayed tuned in for the experience of seeing a home container being built, but it is also so much more then that. I like seeing the progress, your humor, and the wonderful quality of the footage you produce.
Loved the uncontaminated painting sketch - so funny!!!!!
Uncontained Painting. Splendid…. Oh yeah that’s nice. Rusty metal red is a favorite of mine too, quite glorious indeed.
Thanks for the laugh.
'' Uncontained Painting '' ! ROTFLMAO ! That was so FUNNY ! I couldn't stop laughing ! 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Future project idea. How about an underground storm shelter that doubles as a pantry and laundry room? You could then put a dishwasher in the kitchen. 😁
I think the wife should have done one side of the container with Spencer played with the children, but Spencer did a great job with the back up of his wife. Best part was the wife on top of the container and could not get down, that was a good laugh Spencer.♥♥♥
8:00 I LOVE Bob Ross.. that is a VERY good Photoshop job of you as the titular character.. your wife should be proud of her work on that! We all know she is the artistic side of the family... ;) Still.. your voice over as the man of the hour.. Mr. Robert Norman Ross was second to none!
I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS YOUR SUCH A BEAUTIFUL FAMILY MUCH LOVE & RESPECT !! YOU GUYS ARE TRUE PATRIOTS & A HUGE BLESSING !! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏
That decal came off pretty quickly with the heat gun, personally, I'd been wearing throwaway gloves. The adhesive under those things can get pretty messy when heated, now it'll have to be stripped off for paint. Love ya'll ❤️
🤣🤣🤣🤣Loved the Bob Ross impersonation. Sounded just like him.
I agree. (Time in the cargo trailer was the best of your life) It’s the simple things in life that give the most pleasure
Love your work 👍
You guys have the absolute best time doing everything…and it’s so enjoyable every time I watch your vid! I love Mac’s laugh and how she finds everything both fun and funny. Please don’t loose that part of each other over the years. Keep laughing and loving. The bits you show us of your lives are just fascinating and hilarious…all done in East Texas!!! UGH!
Crash/collision wrap over the door and window openings would be a nice way to keep rain out of the container while you are waiting to install doors and windows.
The first time I saw the heat gun method was on Kuz we Kan farms video using a small hand torch. They also are doing a container home build. The stickers just peeled right off and after the paint you couldn’t even see it. The heat gun method (or blow torch) most certainly is better. Good video!
But as soon as you have sand blasted it, it needs blowing of and spraying straight away as any moisture would start the rust process! So need good weather..
Love the fro! 🤣🤣🤣 She deserved to have the ladder taken away. 🤣🤣🤣 I painted over my labels. I figured I already had all that info on the nameplate. Save yourself the work Spencer.
Try olive oil, vinegar oil, WD-40…..rtc. Soak the oils for like 20 min and do not be stingy. Apply freely. This is rather inexpensive to at least try, isn’t it?
I am such an impatient person…and I want things done tout suite! I give you two so much credit for having the strength and fortitude to get right back in it and build again, seriously. Kenzie has such a positive sense of humor- how refreshing it that?! And Spencer(s?) he can do anything! He just talks it through then just gets it done. Impressive!
I can see a pergola or covered patio on one side of the guest container villa.
