I recommend that you get an older single cab 3/4 ton 4x4 with an 8ft box as a backup vehicle and for doing chores, hauling wood and runs to the dump. You don't have to worry about beating on an older truck. Single cabs are easier to backup with a trailer because you have more visibility. Dents and scratches just add character.
I just noticed he has a TRD SS, which are 2wd, 2wd trucks in the mountains won’t do as well as a 4wd.

An affordable and super handy attachment for the three point hitch on your tractor is a hitch assembly that lets you use your tractor to position trailers. Mine has a 2” receiver that can mount a variety of ball sizes as well as a raised 2 5/16” ball for moving gooseneck trailers. The three point hitch will lift most any trailer you will have and the tight turning radius of the tractor makes it easy to place trailers where you wouldn’t consider attempting with your truck. It’s also very handy to back up to the trailer with the hitch lowered, place the ball below the trailer coupler, and raise it off the ground with your 3 point hitch. You don’t even have to get off the tractor to hook up and unhook if you don’t want to.

Loving the sound of the laughter......so precious. When our son was about that same age, he would get so tickled watching the Three Stooges that we could hear his giggles and laugh all through our small house.........to this day each time we hear children laugh we recall those memories and it brings back smiles.........our son is now 56, but those wonderful memories still touch our hearts!

I just wanted to say hello from a fellow Texan. I found you guys from a picture on Pinterest because I also enjoy unique houses such as container homes, barndominiums , and the like. I binged yall's RUclips channel like it was some Netflix series...I was hooked I got through all videos in 21 days....lol (I have no life). You guys have created something special, not just the channel, the home, but an amazing family. I don't know if y'all actually read some of these or which one of you do but if this isn't Spencer, tell him that the guys and fellow DIY'ers enjoy when he goes off on his rants about how things are done. I really hope you (Kenzie, Spencer aka The Off-Grid Flasher, and the kiddos) continue to make RUclips videos. It's so fun to see you all progress and enjoy life while at the same time I'm actually learning things. I know there's a lot of weirdos out there on the other side of the screen but I'd be interested as to know more as to where about in Texas are y'all located. I'm not talking about direct coordinates or anything but something a little more than north east Texas....Texas is HUGE! Just something like....near Mount Pleasant or whatever. I have been in the "season to life" of being TOTALLY pregnant (7-9 months) and still moving forward with projects and goals and planting.... You deserve ALL the credit for getting even a little bit of it done. You can tell how much you big little-ones adore you during this time, too. Look at you go - getting things done with a team of mini-yous cheerleading you! Your face when your sweet boy starts to move a full bag of soil!!!! You should be proud
