- In this video I discuss the direction of our RUclips Channel as well as Marksman Shooting Sports and the WBG website. Over the past several months, I have received many questions from you all, so I wanted to take the time to answer those questions in this video. Thanks!

I enjoy both the unboxing and weekly gun reviews but from a selfish knowledge perspective get more out of the weekly gun review. Your depth of coverage is impressive and it's no wonder it's time consuming. I've wondered how you seem to know and remember all that detail as you successfully present it as off the top of your head.

Thank you Chris. I have to admit that while the unboxing videos are fun, I get a lot more satisfaction from the reviews. I really enjoy learning the history and development of different firearms. Though I fully understand that they do take longer to make, and demonitization is a real bugger. Wishing you success in all you do, I just wish I lived closer...
Chris - I watch everything you put out. You are a well thought out gun enthusiast that truly loves guns and the business you’re building and the industry you’re in. I watch because you are a “real” person who cares !!! I learn more from the gun reviews but I still learn from the unboxings due to your overall knowledge. I almost enjoy the unboxings more because you guys can relax and be real. Plus I like the bloopers as well. You guys have great chemistry
I miss the more in-depth stuff, but I like the regular unboxing videos, too. It's all good to me.

I really like the used gun reviews. I enjoy learning about many different firearms.
I do enjoy the gun review videos more than the unboxing. Perhaps once a month video for the review style videos so that the turn-around time is not so severe on your time. And, to say, your channel is one of the best ones that I watch.
As far as I am concerned whatever content you put out I support. This is a great channel for many reasons but especially for 2A reasons so I will continue to support this channel. I do like the weekly reviews as well as unboxing. So maybe a "weekly" review but not as often as weekly. Keep up the great work.
We love the Weekly used gun reviews. Even if it were 2 or 3 at a time, it's your best content and why I subscribed. I like the updates and unboxing, but the reviews are the best

Your channel is great. I love the weekly gun reviews, would still love them if they went monthly, and I like the unboxing videos fine, just not as much as the reviews. I follow you on Utreon as well and just subscribed over there.
Thanks for the update, Chris! I find the store / industry update videos very interesting. For the moment, I kind of enjoy the unboxing videos more than the weekly used gun review videos. Perhaps you could sprinkle in some of the more in-depth review videos a few times a year. At any rate, all you guys at the shop seem to do a great job, and I'm happy to receive any content that you find time to post. Thanks for all of the great content and for being so transparent. Rumble is truly growing and getting better all the time. A lot of creators are using RUclips to drag viewers to Rumble by doing the first half on RUclips and the full show on Rumble and posting the link to Rumble below. It takes time but it works. Rumble is the future in my opinion. Rumble will also help you get advertisers.
I enjoy seeing both types of videos and had noticed that the reviews hadn't been shown as much as previously but figured the situationwas pretty much as you've described.
Its to bad in order to Make it On U-tube, your only Goal is to keep from gettin Cancelled...Hope Your Channel will continue, and your store and Business to Grow, your are a good Advocate for The 2ND Adn Just being Here...Thanks Chris for all you do...Semper Fi
Unboxing is great. I do enjoy the reviews, i am like you and anything old or a little different i want to know all about it. All the old and wierd stuff i own orr work on, i learn everything i can about it.
Do anything that you feel like doing. You're by far my favorite channel. I like the fact that you will talk about legal changes, but not get political. I've stopped watching several channels for that exact reason. One unrelated thing, I've got some that I want to sell but I don't need the ammo for that gun (Sig 357, Tokarev, Grendel, Creedmoor). Do you guys ever buy ammo with a gun?
Chris I sympathize with you over trying to run a business that is in conflict with the sentiments of a few who regularly calls their congressman n media pushing their agenda. I even see it on the comments that they try to do censorship what have the free world come to. Keep up the great work in education n entertainment of opening those boxes I enjoy them from day one .👍🏻👍🏻❤️🤩
Ether video is OK. I enjoyed both. Seeing what comes in I think is better, and from your time expended, this is the best use of your time!

I like the unboxing videos with you and Randy the best because you have more of them and at great interaction between you two.
I like all your videos but i'm always on the hunt so the firearms you get in are at the top of my list.
Thanks for taking the time to explain the changes u tube has made. Other channels have mentioned it but not indepth. I enjoy both unboxing and weekly reviews you one of the most informative ones out there and I get a lot out of both. We'll stick with you as you move forward but your business is the most important thing for you.

Weekly gun review is far better than the weekly unboxing. General value range and 3-5 min background for design and market is invaluable.
I have watch alot of the reviews and they're great but I actually get excited when a unboxing video get posted

Hi Chris, I absolutely love the unboxings, you and Randy chopping it up is great fun. I. Addition very interesting to see you experts evaluating the levels of condition is a fantastic lesson for us who kick the tires at shows.
As for myself and friends who also enjoy your content here in Vt., We think you're a likeable cat (Randy as well), and enjoy all of your content. Can see how the unboxing vids. make more sense timewise and you always provide a history of the more interesting and/or surplus stuff anyway. Those factors taken into account with more frequent videos make the unboxings a no brainer I think.
Then if you get stuff in that's real extraordinary, you could always do the occasional review if your schedule permits. Thanks for awesome content Chris!

Thanks for the update on the store. It makes sense to me to focus on used firearms. A lot of supply exists and people are always looking for something even not serious collectors. I completely understand about the review videos. It's been obvious to me the amount of prep time required to make them. They are uniquely interesting. My only suggestion is to do quick hits. Only review the unique and different and only do 1 firearm. It's a quick hit video - short and to the point. The unboxing videos are fun to watch even the bloopers. As for the delay between the store and the video, the choice is simple. The business comes first. Turn is everything in retail. Keep up the great work and I wish you much success.
I enjoy both types of videos, both the unboxing and weekly gun reviews. Perhaps an idea is to reduce the frequency and the amount of firearms you are reviewing. That way you are keeping diversity in your videos for those who enjoy one or the other and not having to allocate so much time to produce the gun review videos. Really enjoy your channel and will continue to watch whatever you produce. Very unique seeing a firearms channel from a dealer’s perspective which is what I enjoy. Best of luck to you!

You should do a dedicated vlog video on the current state of people selling used guns. I remember when the panic 1st started many suggested that once it subsided there would be many lightly used if not unshot guns coming into the market. Have you seen that yet?

First off, love the Advil in the background. 2ndly, sorry to hear about the monetization problems. You'd think a company into automation would have a "if channel X gets re-monetized XX% of the time, then turn off auto-de-monetize". But hey, what do I know. Lastly, I also enjoyed the WUGRs for the background and the "what's out there" context. That said, I get good historical info in the unboxing ones, not as in depth but still good stuff. I'd say follow the ROI for time spent. Maybe changing to monthly UGRs??? Or since you know what's coming in for unboxing, setting aside the interesting or oddball ones for the video??? I think the sellers requesting to be in the video is odd, I'd try to cut that off soon. It seems that could escalate over time.
I've been trying to stay away from YT but I look forward to both the reviews and unboxings. I would encourage you to post on your Rumble channel as well and draw your subscribers there as many are. All the best!

It appears the unboxing is the best use of your time. I like sseing all the different types of guns. My local stores have no old / surplus / historic guns processing through, so I really like your content. If you have info on what is out there through the commercial sources that would be great also. I really miss the stock from Southern Ohio Guns. Ah the old days!

I love the concept and the channel, just do whatever you guys can get away with. Personally I like watching the videos and than checking the web store.
I really enjoy the unboxings, it's just fun to see what comes next in each box and the kind of unrehearsed fun. But I really enjoy the history ones too. I do hope that you will consider Rambol a little bit more, at least for a back up. I think it's just starting to catch on, it's gonna take a while. But people like me or just now getting our accounts and subscriptions up and running. You may have gotten 100 views on a video there before, but I think it's going to start picking up.

Thanks for the update, love the video as always. The unboxing videos are my favorite. Only change I would like to see is more C&R items on the web site, and more info of the barrel condition. As personally I would take a good or fair looking firearm with an excellent barrel, than a excellent looking one with a fair barrel.

Maybe do a weekly gun review but knock it back to 2 or 3. I love to hear about the history and background of them.
I like the reviews because of the historic aspect of it. The unboxings are interesting because one never knows what is inside. Shame that many of them are not even allowed here in Canada. Too bad you can't buy guns from us in Canada, you seem like a decent and honest fellow to deal with.
Sadly, it’s an all out attack on the Sportsman at the political level. It’s unfortunate since a lot of newer gun owners get their initial introduction to the world of firearms through these informative and often helpful videos. I will be a forever fan! Keep the quality content coming! Gun reviews are great! Unboxing are also enjoyable. A balance of both is the perfect mix. By the way, I like the bottle of Advil in the background on the PC, that alone shows how much you guys are dealing with in this political climate.
Spot on - What can Not be done by disingenuous legislation or accomplished in the effective courts is pushed out onto the media.

Keep unboxing - it's a great way to stay in touch with the arms market.
Imagine! If all the firearms related RUclips channels had links, in their descriptions, to each other, making it easier for viewers to follow those channels they liked, for instance, some of the channels that show shooting and firearm demonstrations linked in your channel and vice versa. My point is an increase in subscribers and views. Many farming video producers are linking together, physically visiting each other, and so on. Millennial Farmer just hit 1 million subscribers.
