Guys, a little bit of context. As Specified in this teaser the fantasy movesets are optional. Nolvus v6 introduces a new combat system called ashes of war which complements the new stances system. With this new system you have a stance perks tree and you can unlock new stance perks to benefit from new movesets for each weapons with buffs and debuffs. You can also in this new perk tree unlock charged attack as well as ashes of war attacks for each weapon types linked to your current combat stance. Let's say that you unlock ashes of war for sword, you will have then 4 new attacks (as there are 4 stances, neutral, high, mid and low ) by pressing a single dedicated button for the selected weapon (in this case swords) and the selected stance. When ashes of war is unlocked, you have also the possibility to craft 50 different artefacts and equiping them (the back flip is one of these) to have variations and mix your movesets. You don't like a moveset, just don't craft the artefact linked to it. It's completely modular, you can unlock only the combat stances (movesets) you like for a specific weapon, unlock only an ashes of war attack you like or only craft an artefact giving you a moveset you like. In short you can have the combat style you want in Nolvus v6 and there are movesets for every tastes!!!
So is this optional in the installer, or just something you can craft in-game but doun't have to? If it's the former, will the non-fantasy option still add combat animations?

I haven't played Skyrim since 2015, but after watching this video I installed Nolvus V5 and have now played for over 150 hours. I am so grateful to the Nolvus team for making the best experience even better and impressing me.
Skyrim with mods is the reason I ditched consoles got a gaming laptop 6 years ago - discovered V5 earlier this year and was blown away. Same feeling today. Thanks for bringing us Elder Scrolls V6 Vektor 😊

Then just a couple years ago, i thought i was done with skyrim.. buddy sent me link to a video of nolvus and hours later i was installing nolvus. Its like a brand new game again.
Can't wait. I wish I could hibernate for a couple months and it be fully released when I wake up so I could play it right away. If skyrim mods have gotten this detailed over the years, Bethesda is in big trouble with ES6 because this is just as good if not better graphically than the current AAA games we have today.
@@chaserseven2886 I completely agree. Although good graphics are what attracts people's attention the most in the first place. There are lots of good games out there that don't get the recognition they deserve simply because not enough people bothered to look past the exterior. You could say the same for a lot of things actually. But people are going to dunk on bethesda hard if modded Skyrim looks better than ES6. Like REALLY hard. Their reputation has already taken a pretty big hit with starfield and all the issues with the first year or 2 of fallout 76.
Who cares about graphics honestly ? Unless you're new to games, there's absolutely no debate over gameplay being more important than graphics, Some AAA exec might have the means to brag they're the "best looking game in the world" title for 6 months, and then ? Then you're just another "tech demo from the past" that had no impact on the medium, like a hundred titles before that. Why do you think the indie scene is racking up millions while AAA studios do massive layoffs ? Empty looks are good enough for children, but that's about it, certainly not a large enough market, and producing HQ graphics is still expensive. Bethesda failed on the two fronts with their latest bs of a game, so unless they change the core lead team and all the grubby parasites that are still destroying this company, i wouldnt hold my breath for TES to be visually impressive or having decent gameplay that not dated 10 years and a technical debt dated 25.
@chaserseven2886 I'm not saying it won't be fun or people won't buy it off of graphics alone, but it will certainly be made fun of compared to their likely 15+ year old predecessor by that time. Pokemon Sword and shield is a good example. They cut the national dex over better graphics and animations, and it ended up worse graphically than lets go pikachu/eevee and had worse animations than pokemon battle revolution from the Wii era. It still did well because it's pokemon, but it was a pretty big disappointment to its core fans in a lot of ways despite its achievements. I fear ES6 will do the same. It'll sell well because it's Elder Scrolls, but it's going to be riddled with even more bugs than normal, and it won't even be graphically superior than its predecessor to set it apart.
I've been enjoying the v6 Beta so far, the only thing that seems to be an issue is one of the mods makes the Left Trigger for controllers have problems. It loads up a circle on the right side of the screen, no text to show what the ring/circle is doing. My guess is it works for a hot slot? I'm sure that will be fixed when the version is finalized. But it's worth the download!
Other than kcd2 this is only thing im looking forward to! Still playing nolvus v5 and loving it, just boggles my mind the amount of work that has to go into this to make all them mods play nice together, i remember breaking my skyrim back in 2012 with less than a 100 mods. God i wish i could get fo4 to look as good as this though. Got to say Nolvus for skyrim and Storywealth for fo4 are still my 2 favorite collections. Thank you Vektor for all your hard work on this and in the past on Nolvus!

I'm really looking forward to V6 as Nolvus is by far my favourite modlist. I do add a few cosmetic additions like Volkihar Knight armour, Black Mage robes and Saviors Hide replacer (all of which work well) as well as BNP skin. You can even swap out Aetherius races for Imperious without issue. Well worth the effort of downloading.
Currently playing Nolvus on a meh computer. Even the Redux is brilliant. But, with V6 coming, I think I gotta sell a kidney for a great rig, it looks amazing. Gamers are lucky to have folks like the Nolvus team that does this work just to make games better for longer.
So that's why I had thoughts about playing yet another Skyrim round recently (last time played almost a year ago with nolvus). Its like I felt that new version of Nolvus is on the horizon.
If bethesda bought all these mods and released skyrim nolvus edition i would pay top dollar for it. This modpack is truely unmatched and im so hyped for V6!
I just reinstalled v5 waiting for v6 and this drops broooooo😅. Im hyped though. Hopefully some cool ninja/samurai or Yokai mainly yokai stuff made it in.
I am so hyped for this. Thanks for putting this all together. If I do the beta, will I have to personally update the mods as changes are made, or will your installer handle everything? If it's low maintenance on my end, I would gladly jump in early with the beta.
I wish i could take full advantage of the move sets. I play via controller due to my hands locking up but there's too much to just fit on something with controls that small. Still, getting to relive my favorite game ever through nolvus is a treat ill always enjoy

Hey, thx. Sadly not because it's a complete new list with 1500 new mods added compared to v5, so 3600 mods in total. Tho both versions can co exist, you can install v6 while still playing or installing v5
I waited 6 years to be able to get a new PC just to play Skyrim Ultra Modded, Nolvus v5 has been so good and set the bar high when it comes to standards for next gen modlists, cant wait for V6... But I'm wondering if people will still be able to download V5 after V6 comes out?

Hi, I would appreciate if someone could help with this issue. I use Nolvus V5 and when I enter the game GPU goes crazy, suddenly gets up to 80+ degrees celsius. My PC is good enough, 100% that's not the problem since I play RDR2 on 4K ultra settings and the GPU temp goes up to maximum 63 degrees. Something is wrong here. I would love to be able to run the game without to fear that my GPU will explode. If someone knows any fix for this please let me know. Thanks! It's pretty much dark souls style at 3rd person (as always with Nolvus) but without fantasy movesets, but you can play at first person too, the stances system has been upgarded from v5 for 1st person players

graphics don't matter as much as people say they do i rather have a game with bad graphics and good gameplay or whatever then one with good graphics

Funny how in old games like skyrim no matter how you mod it an observant player will still be able to tell it apart from something newer
