Unpopular theory: gfriend searched and followed a "whisper" in LOVE WHISPER MV which could be a siren's "love whisper". The siren made them went to the lake, got their own powers, and then made them envy.

A clever Buddy pointed this out: the main character in Sunrise was Sowon, in Fever was Yerin, in Crossroads was Eunha, so now it'd be Yuju's turn.
I'm 90% sure she is a siren, so it'd make sense if this MV focused on her and her friendship with Umji.

"回" means time in Japanese and return in Chinese. That means that their albums are called 'Time: Labyrinth' or 'Return: Labyrinth' and 'Time: Song of the Sirens' or 'Return: Song of the Sirens', instead of just Labyrinth and Song of the Sirens.
That's interesting because the Butterfly Effect has to do with time too :)
Also, BTS and TXT have storylines dealing with time. I think it's that inward and outward journey; repeating it over and over again, each time learning something new. Because the entrance to a labyrinth is also the exit of the labyrinth. It's like returning to where you began.
This character "回" looks nice too and it has a unique meaning with Gfriend.

I was actually wondering what would happen after their crossroads MV then you explained very well that yuju might be trapped in the mirror then replacing her by a different person which is a siren. The part where you said that Yuju was warning everyone not to listen to the siren's voice gave me chills because, I remembered that after their fight with Umji, I noticed that Umji listened to some kind of music (maybe the siren?) in the headphones then at the end, Umji is seen in the dark opening her eyes (probably a sign that she isn't the Umji that we know and that she is an exact replica but as a siren). Maybe, Yuju and Umji fought between listening to the siren or not then Umji ended up doing it. Yuju already knew what was going to happen so she let go of Umji because she doesn't trust the Umji she sees in the aquarium. Well, that'just a theory... HAHAHA..

As i have said at my First theory. The Big Hit universe is circling around the Greek mythology and butterfly effect. Gfriend just released their time table. Their will be a tale about the butterfly effect. Quick explanation about the butterfly effect - The butterfly effect is the idea that small things can have non-linear impacts on a complex system. In another term, Small effects can lead to huge effects depending on your actions. Like you're not expecting things to turn out this way. Ans also a butterfly effect can be related to the Big hit universe parallel worlds where each members has an ANIMA to the other groups like Jin's anima is Eunha
The butterfly effect can be witnessed in BTS save me webtoon. Where Jin is time travelling to save his friends but everytime he tries again and again stuffs gets worse. Similar with Eunha trying to do time travelling but still fails trying to save her friends.
We know that in BTS DIONYSUS RM is Dionysus and in Gfriend's Sunrise Sowon is Ariadne. In Gfriend's time table there is 'APPLE' concept photo. The apple could also be involved in the Greek Mythology. The apple is a very old symbol of love and relates back to the Greek God Dionysus who offered apples to win the Goddess Aprhodite's love.
SEVENTEEN's new Album Heng:garae they are Sailors. While Gfriend in this Upcoming comeback on July are Sirens/Mermaids who lure nearby sailors with their enchanting music and singing voices. SIRENS AND SAILORS are also involved in Greek Mythology. In Seventeen's Left And Right MV at the back of the Car where S.coups is inside. There is a Lake. The lake can also be seen at Gfriend,Bts and TxT's music Videos. The most interesting one is in TxT magic island MV there is a Huge Tree (can also be seen at bts Spring day and Gfriend mv's) and there is also a lake where a Girl showed up in the lakes reflection. There are speculations that the girl is Eunha. As I've said Eunha and Jin has the same goal throughout the Mv's and story line Both can also do time travel.

Or it could be Umji speculated that the Yuju they have now isn't the real one, thus she feels indifferent/cold towards her. Yuju in that one crossroad scene after Umji shut the door on her face was really creepy, it's like she's mad that Umji noticed that she isn't the real one? And when Umji realized that Yuju is upset, she tried to be friends with her again but then Yuju's like, "uh uh... nope". lol

Lol so I've been pondering on the Butterfly effect, and while playing Super Star Gfriend more Specifically the song Labyrinth.
These is what stuck to me.
The start of Labyrinth lyrics.
"A sweet whisper from afar come here."
This reminded me of the part in the video "a song floting through the darkness."
(I felt it was far to similar.)
Then the video says "we ran towards the blue light."
This goes back to the labyrinth lyrics "walk along the light be bewitched in a maze without an exit."
Going back to the video, how they've been running for a while and have yet to meet.
Also there are some labyrinth lyrics that stuck out for the new concept
"You know the truth I'm you"(or depending on the translation)
"You know the truth, I'll soon become you." (This part is sung by umji

Then the next part sung by yuju really resonates with your thoery about mirrors.

I don’t really follow Gfriend but the lyrics, the girl getting stuck in the mirror and possibly replaced by the sign and the shadows behind the girls in the photos indicate a lot. I feel like Yerin is the siren or maybe a good version, a mermaid? Over their MVs it has been shown she has some sort of connection to water (Memoria - scales, Crossroads - bathtub, Fingertip - she held a bubble [?], Summer Rain - watching raindrops that remind her of her true self). I feel like the powers they got might be connected to different (mythological) beings. What are their powers anyway?
Yerin - water related powers, a mermaid.
Eunha - time travelling powers, a butterfly.

I think both the star and the siren arw manifestations of the different fears that the girls of Gfriend and boys of TxT are having to accept.
For Gfriend- various notions and attacks of jealousy and envy
For TxT- fears of losing their own selves and by affect, losing each other to their own egos
Perhaps one ultimate bighit reveal will be that the star and the siren, when both groups are able to accept their fears and the pain that they have caused, and put them to rest- will be purified and become light and loving. Then they can be guided by love and truth alone and face challenges with super strength and confidence. (Connecting with other worlds or time lines perhaps?)
i seriously agree to the third one. yuju is most likely to be the siren since sirens are into singing it can be yuju since she's the main vocalist of the group.
I feel like the the Yuju with a scar on her face and the Yuju running in the Crossroads MV are 2 different Yuju. The Yuju stucked in the mirror in Fingertip had somehow escaped from the mirror and ran to find her friends. And the other Yuju might be the siren (i think so...)

5:31 it actually is a motif heard both in Sunrise and Crossroads. It’s SinB part in Sunrise and Sowon in Crossroads
it is worth mentioning that Yuju on the fingertip MV is floating in what looks like water ... That is, in this MV, besides being in the mirror, she is also in the water ... Ok so I came back here because I had a revolution that I dont know where to share!!
I rewatched the crossroads mv, and I noticed that the pairs from fingertip mv (where they all were in conflict) is so prominently shown.
SinB seemed to look sad and betrayed by her friends, and went to hear the song that is mentioned so much, in the scene that she was seeming to look for
something. Her pairing, yerin seemed to be full of regret (from fighting her friends) instead of betrayal with the bathtub and looking sad in the train. I think when sinB heard the 'singing star' (which I think has some kind of relation to sirens and something evil?) She went to yerin to team up because they used to work together to bring down the others, before yerin stopped. This is shown by the scene where they stand together.
Then to umji and yuju. It is obvious that yuju is also related with the evil song/sirens, with the theory of her switching places with a siren when she looks in the mirror. I think thats why her pairing was with umji, not with sowon like in fingertip, because umji's role (like in tftmn) was to send messages with paper airplanes, which actually never worked. Recently people saw that on one of the airplanes an apple tree was drawn on - showing that she may be trying to warn people with the messages. In sunny summer, yerin, who had now joined sinb (?) Is seen to have shoot them down. It is also why I think that she is on to yuju, she knows about her being a siren, and so puts on earphones whenever shes near her. She doesn't want to hear the song. That is also why when yuju runs, the camera zooms into her ear!
But with this I dont know what the aquarium scene was about then.
I'm honestly not sure about the other two, but those were my thoughts. With the idea of umji being a messenger also fits with the txt video that came out recently - people say that the ghostly figure in the video was umji, as it had a similar dress as her and in fingertip, she had a poer to become translucent/a ghost. She may be trying to help by sending messages?

The Yuju in the Mirror actually gave me goosebumps a badvibes not a good one. Especially in fallin lights.
Ok, so I thought about something interesting after seeing the teaser. The girls are wearing clothes from the previous eras. Maybe it represents each of them when they found out there's a siren amongst the group, trying to defeat her. Now Yerin is the siren (she has the word ''siren'' written on her hand 3 times) and she summons the girls' previous personas to the labirynth to stop them from exposing the truth and messing up their plans.
Eunha (Rough outfit) - Eunha suspected Sowon of being the siren. You can see her holding the bouquet of flowers (flowers are important and appear over the course of their future music videos, probably used to expose a siren and reveal her true self) going to the train station where Sowon was at the moment. Eunha sees the train arriving and looks a little concerned, then we can see Sowon looking a bit uneasy. Eunha threw a paper plane message towards her and it made the siren go away because Sowon remembered who she really is thanks to what Eunha wrote (since Umji might have the ability to communicate through dimensions with the use of letters/sound/puzzle, maybe she warned Eunha). From this moment, you can see the tone of music video change from nostalgic and sad to happy and warm, as the girls are finally reuniting. Maybe the siren inside Sowon caused them to fall apart and it made their friendship crumble but Eunha managed to solve it.
Umji (Fingertip outfit?) - Umji found out SinB is the siren now. It makes sense since she is the one causing the most discord in the music video and the reason they started to fight. You can see Eunha wearing a flower dress, she wanted to protect herself from the siren. Umji gets into a fight with SinB but loses. Towards the end, you can see SinB holding a glass bead. It has a flower inside. Chances are, either Umji planted this flower inside to stop her or SinB isolated the flower by putting it inside a glass bead so it can't hurt her. She manipulated Yerin too, that's why she was helping her the entire time.
SinB (TFTMN outfit) - SinB found out Eunha is the siren now. Since TFTMN portrays an alternative reality in which Eunha died and everyone else is alive, it is possible that the scene of SinB running towards Eunha's room was what happened earlier. She saw Eunha behaving weird and isolating herself from the group. Umji's airplanes are actually warnings that Eunha sent from another dimension, telling them that killing the siren (Eunha) is the only way. It was so hard for SinB because it was apparent she had feelings for Eunha but she knew it's the only way. The music video shows them coping with the loss of Eunha and Yuju visiting her grave, leaving the same bouquet of flowers there so the siren can't ever come back. At the end we can see that the flowers wilted and the girls encounter Eunha at her gravesite but it was actually the siren (she had a black jacket on and gave us a weird look), fooling the girls and making them believe she is the real Eunha that managed to return from a different dimension.
Sowon (Sunrise outfit) - This time, Yuju is the siren. Sowon had discovered her secret and told Umji to communicate with a different dimension version of Eunha (in this dimension, Eunha was gone because it follows the TFTMN storyline) through a puzzle that makes up a sheet of notes. We can see Sowon being sad and preparing a flower tea (poison) that Yuju later drinks. Towards the end, we can see Yuju in some sort of a tunnel with an uneasy expression on her face. They killed Yuju to get rid of the siren and were sad about it but later, Umji played the puzzle song on a piano and it made them able to meet both Eunha and Yuju in a different dimension but only for a moment (that's why we see Sowon looking at their pictures and being sad at the very end).
Yuju (Crossroads outfit) - Yuju finds out that Umji is the siren now. We can see them arguing and being awkward towards each other in the music video. She (the siren) keeps isolating Umji from the group and using her power to communicate with different dimensions to give the girls false warnings (that's why whatever Eunha does, the timelines keep getting more messed up). Yuju tries to warn the rest but the siren manages to warn them before she does anything, causing more discord. She throws a bouquet of flowers in a glass vase at the door of Umji's room. At the end, we can see Umji in the dark. It might mean that Yuju finally managed to defeat her, but before that the siren communicated with Eunha using Umji's powers and told her to rewind again (the train going backwards).
Sorry for my English but I typed fast. In teaser pictures we can also see Lord of the Flies among the books. It might fit into the storyline of killing each other.

Based on their concept pics and the newest tale of the glass bead video, it could be that sinb is the siren or Atleast represents desire. In the concept photo for tilted, on her scale there is a light. This reminded me of the light that eunha followed which lead her to the Apple tree in their newest video. Not only that but sinb’s hair is also red which can represent the Apple that represents desire. Though I just attempted to connect it

after the concept pics of broken room i think eunha and yerin will take big place in this comeback probably as the main victims of this siren(s)
yerin has siren written all over her arm probably meaning she’s already been captured or trapped by one while eunha is trying to escape (she looks genuinely terrified lmao) also yuju is the only one that doesn’t look into the camera in her pics but that might be a coincidence

I have watched this video three times now, trying to think of something and then I thought about the first theory with Gfriend being the sirens, I feel that the sailors really could be Txt. Think about it, if the sirens are trying to protect their island (the magic island) then Txt definitely pose a threat to their home, considering the fact that they lit the magic island on fire. Also the two versions of the Eternity album were called port and starboard which are different side of a ship and in the starboard version of the album they were wearing sailors outfits and even sometimes when they performed on stage they wore sailor outfits, I just found this quite interesting to think about
My very simple theory or is it?. Gfriend were at the crossroads because they were confused what decisions to make now with the song of the sirens I just imagined two things, the sirens with the deadly songs and the siren which a device since in their poster/timetable have the color red (u know most of the device have colored red😁) . So we all knew the sirens bait their prey with their songs while the device siren sends warning. The sirens of sea can be metaphor as those negative whispers in our head when we confused in making a decision, they try to lead into more troubles instead of solution. Next the device siren is trying to warn not to follow those negative whispers so basically gfriend indeed facing the song of the sirens which is both the sirens of the sea that bad and the device siren that good😂
