Not a bevel question, but rather a swivel knife question. If I'm working on something for more than ten minutes or so, the muscle between my thumb and wrist starts to cramp really bad. Is my technique wrong or is this normal?

My guess would be that you're gripping the knife too hard. The pressure should come from your index finger.

I have a pair of Wolverine 1000 Mile boots that are almost a mustard yellow and would like to dye them brown. I assume they're Horween's Chromexel leather. I reached out to both Wolverine and Horween for advise on the best dye to use. Wolverine never responded and Horween didn't know what to tell me. Do you recommend regular Fiebing's alcohol dye or their Pro dye option?

      Hi there,
That's a tough one because Chromexel leather has such a shiny finish you would need to use a deglazer first to remove the shiny topcoat and it would completely change the look of the leather. If Horween doesn't have a good answer for you, we would have to say ProDye is usually our go-to recommendation for most projects but just a disclaimer, we haven't tried this with this specific leather so proceed at your own risk and we certainly can't guarantee the outcome and whether or not this will actually work.
