23:38 the Widespread Brutality should have also killed Raiyuu, since it still has the 11 damage marked on it when Bastion Protector dies and Raiyuu loses indestructible
@@theroguespassage Sure it was still fun to watch - good idea ;) But to be fair, without extra combats, and without 2nd. commnader in play - it for sure would not end that fast, and propably even diffrent player would won ;)
@joedoe7572 Sauron & Saurman pilot here! I kinda flew to close the sun and tried making the army as big as I could. I didn't think that the Bastion Protector was coming back either. In hindsight, the "deal" not to attack Auz, may have been a mistake. 😅

I get the part about not thinking the Bastion Protector was coming back and the eventually suboptimal deal (and Raiyuu should have been dead too, by the way. It had lethal damage marked on it). But the army was already big enough to kill everything; why did you feel the need to make it 4 bigger at the expense of killing your 7/7 commander that you weren't able to recast?
Unfortunately, the MOTH skill looks "once" for each MILL effect - it doesn't matter how many players it affected. So her skill would only "fire" once on 1st. chapter of Sauron saga.

23:21 is there a reason you cast Widespread Brutality after you cast Saruman, not before?
I think Stevens gameplan was his orc being bigger than the damage and Saruman being on battlefield was part of that plan.
@@theroguespassage his Orc wasn't being damaged, it was the army that dealt the damage. And Saruman didn't buff it
@@joedoe7572 It did - he get extra counters for the cast. I agree it would be better to do it opposite still, but its not stircte better play 100%.
