Mathew Fraser earned the title of Fittest Man on Earth at the 2016 Reebok CrossFit Games. The victory was three years in the making, after he took back-to-back second-place finishes in 2014 and 2015. In 2014, Fraser’s debut Games appearance, he earned the Rookie of the Year award for his efforts. Known for his hatred of second place, Fraser was unsatisfied with his consecutive silver finishes, and though he won the worldwide Open in 2015 and swept his region (EAST) with a dominate performance in 2016, it wasn’t until he stood atop the podium at the Games in 2016 that he showed signs of celebration. A former U.S. Olympic Weightlifting team hopeful, with a return from major back surgery in 2011, retired from his weightlifting career and has been a CrossFit athlete since 2012.

Where can I see the CrossFit Games online?
Usually they stream them on RUclips via the crossfit channel, but as of late they have partnered with ESPN and they only stream them on their site :(

this year they're streaming it on their website and on facebook. i think no espn this year. they posted this on the page.

Why Crossfit is becoming such a expensive sport? I feel bad for the games athletes, they work so hard for such a small priza
CairoAugustoCF idk. In 2016 he won 250,000 for getting first. But then again, all the other people didn't get much.
Yeah, i know that, and that's the worst part. They all go through some serious shit during the year, finishing a games and immediately start to think about the next one, no breaks allowed. And the franchise it's so rich, why dont they pay more? The athletes deserves more, after all, the crossfit crew already said: "Being a crossfitter is similar to have a mental illness"
People are motivated for more that cash prizes.

What's sad is that everything you do is selfish, not just competing. Your life revolves around you. God is so kind and merciful he allows people to take what he's givin them and do whatever they want with it. Its when you stand before him and realize he's the one who gave you the talent, the drive, he's giving you breath, making your heartbeat, holding the universe together so you can love your life but you wanting nothing to do with him.
That's gonna be a sad day, for everyone whose seen any amount of goodness on this literally God forsaken planet.
