love your videos Steve,I learn so much from them about the new bikes Im an old timer and half of the younger kids that I ride with nowadays dont even know how to turn a wrench,so the o;d timer that has tools wiyh him at all times winds up fixing shit on the side of the road, and alot of what I know about the newer bikes I learn from your channel so please dont stop making these videos, you keep my old brain young, anyway Im looking forward to the next one. Thanks and be safe.
oh man i understand that completely...i think HD's Idea was to make them even harder to work on but we keep plugging and learning and stay on top of it so we can all save money.
@@sikbaggers I just got back last week from a month long field team to Oklahoma City to work on a E-6 mercury and it was really cool out there, I had never been to the mid west before besides North Dakota, it was not at all what I had expected. Have a safe trip and if you ever get to eastern NC please get up with me I would love to have a few adult libations and BS some
Like your tip for the exhaust sensors "black is at the back" you can use the brake discs for the docking. The 2 dockings towards the 2 brake discs in the front and 1 docking for 1 brake disc in the back 🤔😇🇧🇪
Just received my 4 pt docking station from Advanblack for my 2011 RG ultra. Trying to figure out how to attach it and things in this video aren’t the same as my bike. Do you have a specific video on the install for year bike cuz I’m not seeing it. Need help, please. Love your videos, VERY educational
Hi Steve this is Paul from Rockingham Western Australia I really like your show and have watched just about every episode,I have a breakout and love it but I'm only 5'6" tall (or short). And sometimes I have trouble pushing it backwards especially on an incline, my question is have you ever, or will you ever be putting a reversing gear install on a Harley? As I've said I really like your tutorials and find them easy to follow, thanks Steve I look forward to your response. Paul.
Hey Paul...we had a chance to do a video on one a few months ago but the owner did it himself as I was tied up..but if we get one in here I will do it...sorry man
@@sikbaggers Dont be sorry Steve I know your a very busie man,I just thought if i saw you do the job it would make it easier for me ,plus there's a tew different kits out there and you would pick the best one to install. Keep up the gerat work and thanks very much for the quick response Steve, I have subscribed to your show for a while now and have hit the bell, so I'll be watching all your next instalments so maybe sometime in the future it will happen. Thanks again Steve. Keep your knees in the breeze man.
Hye thanks for checking it out...and they have several dealers in canada but not right in Ontario..check out the dealer map www.advanblack.com/dealerlocator and that isnt always up to date though either...you may give them a call and see if there are any directly in ontario
I bought an aftermarket Razor tour pack but they didn't have the holes predrilled. I've drilled the holes for the mounting bracket but haven't done the backrest because I don't want to F it up. Is there a video that you have that would show a way to line up the proper placement to drill the holes?
i sure dont have a video on that....make sure to look inside the lid for marks in the abs that show where to drill..a lot of them have indents in the abs where to drill. If not all you can really do is make a template from cardboard or do the ole grease trick...dab some grease on the ends of the bolts and set it up to the lid where you want it and that will mark where you need to drill. use a punch to mark the abs and then wipe off the grease and drill it out
Hey, Steve my latch went bad on my tour pack. can i buy parts from you or get ahold of Advanblack? also Iam hearing of some trouble with the latches. thanks again great stuff you put out.
Sorry for the late reply...been at Tail Of The Dragon for a week ...only the king will fit a full face or modular helmet...the razor and chopped will fit 2 skid lid styles
I have canister suspension on my road glide st and I have a tour pack on it...I guess it would depend on the canister mounting bracket...I have the FOX RSD Shocks so the canisters lay down pretty flat up next to the edge of the fender. Which shocks do you have?
@sikbaggers I have a 24 RG haven't purchased suspension for it yet. Was looking at the oehlins I am making it a performance bagger but want a tourpak for long trips. Also thanks for the videos, I am not mechanically inclined but you make it so easy to know what tools to get and how to do everything much appreciated!!!
yes it will ...go here then youll see "popular upgrades" underneath my video there.. Add Tour Pack led light wire harness adapter for '23up Harley CVO Models &'24 SG/RG
yes ...if you have an ultra that has a hard mounted tour pack you can use this set up but you still need to deal with your license plate and turn signals that are mounted on the tour pack...not sure what youre riding but im assuming its an ultra limited
I sure dont man..you can call sales at advan and probably get one or hit up an authorized dealer...4th of july sale coming up very soon too...I just made the flyers for it
Love your videos bruh, thank you for all your input, but the new Roadglde and Streetglide to me look like crap, you buy Harley for purity and experience with the Road, the iPad dash sucks period, as a auto technician for 34 years I can tell you cars are taking a shit with this set up, I guess I am old , this new stuff sucks . Some might disagree I know but the fairing to me are ugly , especially the Roadglide , I like the previous designs much better JMO.
i can foresee issues with the screen for sure. overall the upgrades to the bike are pretty decent but ive had a screen in my wifes fusion titanium have to be replaced at 3k because the fan switch stopped working. and it was all down hill with electrical issues after that...stick a rag in thew tank and push that POS off a cliff at that point.
@@sikbaggers correct after being a technician for 34 years I speak from experience every vehicle has had major issues and the repairs were super expensive, don't forsee durability on a motorcycle exposed to the the elements and vibration, it's a motorcycle not the Jetsons vehicle .

Do you know when they will have the new CVO colors? I have the copperhead CVO RG.
im not sure they will at this point...they are always working on new colors though so maybe
I'd love to color match the inner fairing on my Whiskey Fire 24 Street Glide. Do they offer that yet? I don't see it on their website.
Not yet...Im pretty sure its in the works though. Its a large part so it will take some time.
Hey thanks for the video!

Hey, Steve my latch went bad on my tour pack. can i buy parts from you or get ahold of Advanblack? also Iam hearing of some trouble with the latches. thanks again great stuff you put out.
just email info@advanblack.com .....add some sort of info like your full name or address so they can look up your order and they can get you right.
Steve i got ahold of Advanblack they got back to me within 20 minutes and are sending me a new latch and new style mounting set up .thanks again.
Which tour pack will fit 1 full face modular helmet? I love the looks of the razor but can't find information what it will fit.
