Nice presentation. My XF10 was passed on to my daughter leaving a hole in my gear. Soooo, enter the Ricoh griii. What a treat. I am a great lover of fuji gear and have several of their products. However, for something to just stick in a small bag and take off walking the street, the Ricoh is the king. Regards….Wayne

Hello! I sometimes throw one of my Lightroom presets on my photos from this camera when I feel they need a bit of extra something. But most of the time the most I'll do to the JPEGs is just crop and align. The Fujifilm profiles are the film simulations that are included in Fujifilm cameras. (Provia, Acros, Classic Chrome, etc.) They're similar to normal camera profiles (Vivid, Landscape, etc.) But have Fujifilm's flair attached to them. They're often used in JPEG only as they work well enough that there's no need to edit in post, but the film profiles also work in Lightroom. Hope this helps!
It would’ve been a great camera if not for the flimsy rear dial. Mine has developed an issue where the selection jumps in random directions. Unfortunately a known issue and a weakness in design. It is unusable with how I want to use the camera in manual mode and the rear dial to adjust exposure compensation.
Thought I was alone with the problem. It's a bit fiddly when selecting ISO now, but nothing life stopping. How do you use full manual and exposure compensation?
Honesty, I'm not sure. It's still fairly new and really popular with everyone that owns it, so they're not going for a high markdown from retail price. Maybe if you're able to risk finding a partially damaged one that still functions.
