My favorite? Affinity Photo, Designer, and Publisher. Not free, but reasonable priced one time purchase and the best software currently on the market. 😊
Blender is very powerful. One of the members of our RC community is very adept at programming in Blender and has assembled a workspace that works within the program which allows you to create RC aircraft and output them to a 3d printer or a digital die cut machine. It is absolutely brilliant the way the plugin works and it simplifies a once very tedious process.
Inkscape has been my favorite for years, although its interface is not great in Windows and it's a bit slow to start. Every now and then, I use Photopea for Photoshop files, and Canva for social networks stuff.
True story: When I was 10, in front of the whole class, my teacher told me that I do not have an artistic bone in my body. Even graphic design software can't help me.

Those are good choices. Hopefully Canva who just bought Affinity doesn't screw it up.
not free is not free, does not count here

Photopea is a great online editor!
This was amazing, can you do a video about doodling apps?
How do you feel about postermywall
I have not tried it yet but checking out their site it looks interesting.
Said, “Adobe’s 𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐭 to make something equivalent to Canva” dude’s throwing shade😔

@@BrettInTech Indeed.
Nothing has changed and I'm 50 in March.
I would have answered: "Of course not. I'm an artistic octopus. All muscles."
I never allowed anybody to define me, neither as a kid, nor ever.
