- One of the most significant events in the human experience is loss. It comes in all sizes throughout our lifetime. And yet, so many of us do our best to avoid our grief, shorten it, medicate it, or push through it with our eyes closed. We have forgotten the value of grief. We have allowed the intensity of the experience to overshadow the benefit we can receive.
Even though you come out of loss hurt, you can grow and you can learn. If we let grief shake us into being kinder human beings, we wake up to our shared humanity. We wake up to what binds us together as people. We see the light in each other. We find community.
And maybe, armed with all the gifts and lessons of loss, we’ll walk each step differently, more mindfully, intentionally, and deliberately. And when we choose to walk this path with our eyes focused on the gifts, they multiply.

Sometimes we have to be our own cheerleader, and get up in the morning to do LIFE. Brave woman, even turned the loss of a family member into a motivation to do more. She's enough for herself and that impacts her parenting style. I believe some ppl are born with this gift.

This is one truly inspiring woman. I'm gonna get up from my chair and go for a nice long walk now. I love how she talked about how much she loves challenging herself and how it makes us really feel alive. Love and Physical Excercise is a therapy for mind, body & soul. I do feel when you think and feel about The Love from inside this is a only food to soul instead of feeding hatred to soul and on the other side when you do physical excercise it's a food for body and it's also have same importance.

Oh my goodness I cried my way through this as this lovely lady Grace spoke of the death of her Grandmother, because I lost both of my parents last year. Grace, please don't think that you didn't spend enough time, our elders know life is busy, and they appreciate whatever we can do. Material things do represent love, because you went to the trouble to buy something for your Grandmother, and you were thinking of her at the time, and you took your finite time and energy to buy it, and she knew it. When my mother's health declined I bought her a wheelchair and was hesitant to give it to her because it represents bad health. But she was moved, I could see it in her face, because for her I made an effort and it would let us be together more often. Material things can carry our love to those we care and love.

While I think , what a beautiful thing, the female athlete was walking around and laughing, while suddenly tears fell from the woman's eyes. Even more interestingly, I lost my dog suddenly in 2018. He got sick on Monday and became an angel on Friday. Since that day, I'm tired of thinking about where my angel is doing and being in regret. I hope there is a place where we can meet. Mpoki Grace is so very inspiring with her positivity. She has suffered pain at the loss of her grandmother but has risen above her grief. So many parents can learn from her in the way she wants her children to live their own dreams without her imposing her ideas on them. I love what she says about living for the moment; for some reason it sounds so impactful coming from her even though it is a message bee have all heard so often. Fantastic! I was close to my grandmother who lived to 100yrs. Her goal. Hee hee. I cried deeply when u spoke of your loss of grandmother. I understand. When Diggy(my gma) was in nursing home I was able to connect w her once I snapped her out of negative talk. It was like she came back to me in kindness touch and words. Her Impala car and silver set she wanted me to have went to my brother as a wedding gift and the silver to my cousin after family financial crap went down. To assuage guilt I guess. Sometimes when I see it I think of her and I know her true desire. And then I smile because I had time. Time spent w her. No one can take those experiences from me. The things...while nice and beautiful, she had great taste, don't make me smile.

I lost my father 11 months back he was 62 years old n left us the way your grandmother left you .he got sick for 5 to 6 days n then .. now wen he is not here i realize many things i should have done for him . He spend his whole life working for the people n everyone knew him from a small child to the older ones . He lived his life the way he wanted to live by helping others n always saying yes to the work anyone told him to do. I pray for him everyday n will always love him. Such a beautiful message you gave that we must live a life that makes us happy. Thank you !
