He was like stone until the last few fights. It sucks watching your favorite fighter keep going way past his prime and turn from stone to glass. He would’ve been champ a few years earlier but was friends with Tito at the time. I’m glad Tito showed his true colors.
Met Chuck when I was in College on Summer break. It was before his UFC days, so it was nice to see him become so successful. He was super nice and just had a mellow disposition. Good guy, I'm happy to see his success.

Chuck was a beast in his prime. Aging and Father Time coming for us is inevitable. Even the greatest fall to it. He can hold his head high. Was such a great fighter and thankfully still has a good head on his shoulders after decades of fighting.

I ran into Chuck in Santa Maria, CA about 20 min from where he lives in San Louis Obispo. I stopped at a mini mart gas station, get out of the car, and here is Chuck with his wife and daughter, and Chuck picks his daughter up out of the back seat of his Escalade, throws his daughter over his shoulder and rushed her into the mini mart for a bathroom emergency moment! His daughter had to go! They were on their way to Vegas, and Chuck was commentating on a UFC fight. Made it 20 miles and potty emergency! Hahahaa! He is out and about from time to time in the area, he is definitely the Central CA Coast's Son. Great guy, humble ALWAYS. A friend of mine is one of "his buddies", he told me a story when Chuck came down to a bar to hang out with them, he was drinking water, just came to see his buddies. Some guy in the bar came by their table and spit on Chuck. The bouncer at the bar, who knows it's Chuck Liddell, was obviously keeping an eye on, jumped in right away and threw the guy out. Chuck wiped the spit off his face, never retaliated at all, kept calm and humble, and just hung out with his buddies. That's Chuck Liddell, he's a great guy.

My favorite knock out of Chucks is against Tito Ortiz in their first match. His hand speed and balance was amazing. He was such an exciting fighter to watch.
I was there when chuck knocked out Tito at Mandalay Bay. What a fight! Me and my boy few out from Long Island on a whim we were 21 years old, got 3rd row seats, rented a Ferrari, and some stuff I cant talk about, didn’t sleep the whole weekend. Good times. Iceman is a class act

I can't watch this without getting sad. At this point Chuck was still lucid for the most part. But by the time he fought Tito the last time he was a shell of his former self. Breaks my heart. Such a great guy. CTE is very real and it's taking its toll on countless athletes.
chuck was a grea5 champ…He’s a throw back, a mans man & I would bet that if your friends with chuck he’s probably the most loyal ride or die friend you could ever have. They say he was an insane street fighter too, which if you watched him fight in the UFC, you . Could easily predict that. I’m just glad he’s looking pretty healthy and it doesn’t seem like he’s got any effects from all those knockouts at the very end of his career. He stuck around a little too long and hopefully he won’t have any of that as he gets older, he’s a great dude lotta good times watching him fight

It goes to show the regenerative properties of the brain and body are significant when you start focusing on your health. Far too many though dont have the resources and go down a dark path which only makes their brains and body continue to fall apart.
