@@peonyandparakeet I will and I am. as you instructed the lessons are designed to be explored slowly for each month..I am really enjoying lesson one already... very fun. Thank you .
@@mariach46 Wonderful!!
This is so fascinating, such a beautiful effect , to paint with pencils. I am going to try this today, thanks for your fabulous artwork ❤
I very much like your "process"; it's so "leerzaam"!
I also find it "enjoyable", like any Mixed Media art!!!! Maybe, that's where my "FUTURE" is!!!
I've been making "classic art" since time immimmorial, but, it doesn't look like it!
I just found your channel about a month ago and have been binge watching ever sense.. You an inspiration and a fabulous artist.💜🧡💛💚
Thank you so much! I blog every week about art, but it's not always videos, so do subscribe my weekly newsletters too if you haven't yet! www.peonyandparakeet.com
Love your art style and hope that my own is developing in a similar direction. I want to encourage people to go to your website for more eye candy and inspiration! I didn't realize you paint with oils as well, it is amazing to see NO difference between your oil and acrylic color tones, usually oils seem much softer and acrylics a bit harsh comparatively. Very nice works, picking out a favorite is impossible :)
Thanks so much!! I have learned most of the techniques in watercolors and acrylics first, and then moved to oils, so maybe that explains it a bit.
@@peonyandparakeet Oh, Paivi, I'm so happy! Yesterday I applied your way of thinking ( or NOT thinking, really) about art and had a real breakthrough. My piece has spirit, and light, and an airy mystery that I have not been able to combine satisfactorily very often, if at all. It was surprisingly QUICK, which worries me a bit, even though it's a small piece. Still, I have no urge to "Improve" it, which is a big FIRST for me :)
Thanks to you, a new door has opened at last, and I can't wait to see what's on the other side!
