I stayed at Excellence Del Carmen last Sept, and I loved it and loved the staff. They cater to you more if you are a good tipper.❤
HI! Thank you for watching my videos. The hotel definitely can organize the beach dinner but it will be extra pay. Talk to the guest service guy when you arrive, they have those options.

Love your videos. We are travelling with a 3, 12, and 14 year old. Would you recommend iberostar Punta Cana or Princess Family Bavaro?
The food is better in Iberostar. The rooms are better in Bávaro princess (if you book the family section). The beach is beautiful in both. The selection of alcoholic drinks is the same more or less. But Bávaro princess is 3 times bigger than Iberostar Punta Cana. So choose what is more important for you

Hi! Love your channel. My husband and I are planning a trip to Punta Cana next month. We are so torn on two resorts, so we thought we would spend a few nights at one, check out, and spend a few nights at another. Other than transfer cost, can you think of any reason this is a bad idea? Thanks!
I think it's a great idea, why not? You could also spend some days in Punta cana and then go to Bayahibe. The only think is that the taxi is expensive here
going to iberostar dominica this week from canada and wondering what to expect in terms of drinks and food and tipping etc what kind of money should i have on me for tips or buying alc or smokes etc and should i exchange at my local bank for american or do it down there for pesos? is there any opportunity to do any fishing at the beach or nearby docks or not worth the hassle? i been to cuba a couple times but hoping my exp here is a bit better

food was great compared to cuba it is night and day, resort was quite luxury with pools and the beach area well equipped although there were some waves it was still manageable , saw some fishermen on the beach as well and they keep the place quite clean staff always working and cleaning beach from sea weed, smokes were too expensive, rum was cheap so were some other alcs i brought back with me , but the resort was too big and you either had to walk back n forth from your room to the main lobby or take a shuttle golf cart, one thing i did not like is there $20us tax per person to leave the country also they confiscated my lighter which is another bs they do in these places for some reason and these things need to change, even cuba the poorest place has got rid of that 20 dollar tax bs, and also despite the country not really being a poor one i did feel a bit pressure to tip ppl but it was not that bad , most of the staff were friendly like the lady who was always waving and smiling at the al cart dinners or then i saw her at the buffet and in general ok i did not like the store keepers at the cigar store or the alcohol store she kept following me around standing next to me or had her eyes on me all the time so certain things ok others not so good , btw i think the bavaro hotel we walked next to seemed very luxury and expensive looking 5 star for sure @@DominicanVlog
Do you have a recommendation for a romantic 5 star all inclusive hotel in Punta Cana for a couple, somewhere that isn’t too busy but still quite big and exciting with good food and atmosphere, looking to book somewhere in December but having trouble, your reviews are really helpful ☺️

It depends - some days there is lot, some days it's clean.

Riu Bamu vs Iberostar Punta Cana? What? Riu Bamu is low end hotel as Be Live Colection and Impressive
Iberostar Dominicana and Punta Cana are the only 4 stars hotels from Iberostar chain. Riu Bambu is a 4 star from Riu chain. That's why I'm comparing them. Of course Iberostar Dominicana and Punta Cana are much better than Bamboo, especially after the pandemic, they sell it a lot for local markets, and for the weekends it's very overcrowded
How does this compare to Bahia Principe Grande Punta Cana?
They are absolutely the same, it's one resort actually just two different lobbies

Neither. There is a small one on Bavaro, but a very small one

We went to abera star punta Cana hacienda Dominica’s horrible horrible horrible everything I am not going to name it it’s not 5 star the most is 3!!! Unbelievable 😢😢

@@DominicanVlog ok I would gladly explain. We come from the airport me and my husband they see us and gave us a tiny room with double beds!! We booked our trip 6 months prier to the actual visit!! We went to the front desk and asked them to give us room that we paid for which is kind size they said we don’t have one maybe tomorrow we insisted only then they gave us a right room
The construction is literally everywhere and it’s major major construction whole buildings one after another non stop 12 hours per day including weekends!!! Food is very very limited no variety not fresh has been left out from the days before for sure!! We had a fire late at night from the next resort right next to us people wore packing up running around with kids and luggages we all went to the lobby do you think ANYONE from Managment come out to comfort us or to tell us what’s up???!!! No one did not one person!! The night entertainment was also almost non existent because the theatre was also under construction!! The whole resort must be closed do the renovations then reopen again!! And that’s called 5 stars hotel you think I never been to 5 stars resort before?? Shame on you!!!! You asked I answered. I told my travel agent as well. Thanks for your time
