After Pheromosa and Volcarona the next highest bst mon to have quiver dance is _Bellossom_
If iron moth had it it would be tied with the Ultra Beast for highest bst with QD

Volc’s my favourite little guy. Ive used this mon in all of my teams this reg because the only rock move is ivy cudgel and give it physical bulk and this thing can just win you games. special attackers? get a dance or 2 to outspeed and spam struggle bug. kyogre? pair it with wide guard or give it dragon tera. physical attackers? free burns.
What are your EV spreads if I may ask for it
@@IMCHEZZER max HP, enough defense to take a +3 body press from zama-crowned, rest in spA. It is not perfect but it makes me able to survive a lot of non-super effective hits.
I just run choice specs max spA heat wave right off the bat to blow up opponents thinking im finna set up 😂

Quiver dance offense and support moves are kinda the whole point of running a volc
Okay, so I know this is going to sound absolutely ridiculous, but if you want an underrated Pokemon in this format, Scrafty is incredible imo. Between Intimidate and AV, it's basically unkillable by anything that isn't Fairy type, and even then, teched Fairy Moves deal like 60% to it. It can Knock Off, it can Fake Out. It gets Foul Play, which beats the hell out of Caly-Ice, and can do ridiculous things to Caly-Shadow, too. Obviously it doesn't like stuff like Fluttermane, but that's why you have 5 other Pokemon. I threw it on my current team as a hail mary because Incin wasn't working for me for whatever reason, and so far I've been super impressed with the little hoodlum. Highly recommend giving it a shot.

@@Official.PrismBreak I used grass because it makes stuff like Urshifu and Kyogre less good into it. It could run Poison or something else to avoid the fairy weakness.

im glad volcarona is getting some shine. ive been killing it with a setup build the past few weeks on my Koraidon sun team. i had a match the other day where i won a 1v3 with it against a raging bolt, calyrex-S and rillaboom, was probably the most exciting match ive had so far during this regulation. once it gets a quiver dance and a fiery dance boost off it is unstoppable against anything that doesnt resist both fire and bug type stab
this is the least relevant counter of all time but if you happen to have araquanid you have a field day into volcarona. water bubble liquidation is ohkoing 252hp volc uninvested, it's immune to burn and if they tera grass you can chunk with a bug move
Araquanid isn’t really irrelevant because of wide guard, but I doubt people will slap it on their teams just to counter volcarona. Countering volcarona will just be a nice coincidence most of the time

I see the mothy boi are on the rise, love running this boy with Oricorrio, if allowed to set up tail wind they can get out of hand with Quiver Dance and Fiery Dance
One thing that I feel made Volc really nice in the special event is its pairing with Terapagos, because Terapagos HATES fighting types but absolutely does not mind going up against Calyrex, whereas Volcarona’s main issue is some of the big special attackers like Calyrex, and eats the fighting types up for breakfast (except Terapagos Fire Koraidon, but if they are flare blitzing into the Volc, they definitely are not surviving the Tera Starstorm)

@@vanjagalovic3621what does that help with, idk I just think this was a small event with a very insulated looking meta game and it's not going to translate to other places
still if thry open pelli you can switch out and if they dont a quiver dance lets you survive hurricane, more if you use struggle bug beforehand

I was about to say I run pelipper next to zamazenta and free hurricanes and weather balls wall it completely not to even mention the fact that it still takes decent damage from weather ball in the sun as well

Weather ball/hurricane Pelliper isn't bad into it, but that's the only thing on my current team that has a favorable match up
Might have missed this for counters but 252 hp and 36 Spdef Volcarona still gets 1 shot by pelipper weather ball every time.
