I shot one of these yesterday at my local shop. I decided against it and went with the rx7 30”. That sucker is super smooth and DEAD in the hands! Your rx7 review is what prompted me to get out and test them for myself. Definitely feel like I made a great decision
Cool vlog I really enjoyed that you reviewed the Hoyt Twin Turbo bow. It is a insane bow to shoot that I can see in the vlog. The only is that you said that you would get in 80lb draw weight but the website shows from 30-70lb available unless you ask for a special request from Hoyt but other than that killer bow. Have a great day!!!
I’ve got a last year Hoyt torrex at your recommendation and love it . Previously was a 2008 diamond bowtech monarch and it still shoots amazingly smooth . Good as the Hoyt , longer axle , feels good . Has some kind of velvety feel on the steel .
I guess I'm only person who likes this bow over the RX7s! I mean it's faster and draws a lil, bit easier at the beginning and into the backwall.. I'm bringing mine home Tues.. I'll let you know my op.
I'm with you man, I shot all the flagships and the Twin Turbo was what I came home with. I like a little heavier bow, and shooting at a 29in draw its ridiculous smooth not being at the very top of the cam. At 33 ATA and basically a 6in brace height, its insanely smooth and fast.
I feel like everyone who's reviewing the twin turbo is overlooking it's most glaring and obvious problem and actually explains perfectly where the comments about it being heavy comes from. COVID really put the delays on the manufacturers last year and if you remember, Hoyt seemed to have it the worst. It was January before Hoyt unveiled their '21 lineup and it was not ready for public release when they did so, at least on the Carbon side of things. It wasn't until mid-late spring before all RX-5s started shipping with the Picatinny mount and I still run into RX-5 early adopters who don't even know there was something else not included and that's the shock pods. Hoyt's marketing pushed the detail that the shockpods on the '21 bows were redesigned specifically to complement the HBX cam as they are not only a tad bit larger than what was on the RX-1 through RX-4 but also noticeably heavier. You wouldn't think that would make that big of a difference but trust me, I have a release day RX-5 and when swapped over to the new stye it is so much smoother. Even the shop tech who was skeptical there would be a difference immediately said there was an audible difference. Anyway, why am I bring up RX-5 stuff in this review? SImple. This bow was supposed to be in the '21 lineup as the RX-5 Turbo. With the RX-7 we get an entirely new riser design that's more stream lined and center balanced and weight is very close to the old Carbon Spyder which is when the Carbon weight advantage did exist. Don't get me wrong, the TT is a fast, smooth beast and is probably the best Turbo they've put out since all the way back in 2014. However it's still last years' riser, last years technology but at a $50 premium to the all new riser tech RX-7.
Wow for someone who sounds like they just know it all.. I can say this. Your wrong about why the TWIN TURBO riser.. Simply put with out writing a book. It's bcuz that riser is and was used because it's stronger at the ends molded into the Alum.- which in turn can handle the extra Speed! Personally I like the look of that riser over the 7.. Brought mine home yest.. And it shoots freaking Bombs. I'm very happy with it. Yup I liked it over both overrated rx7s
@@michaelmangino9819 Glad you like it. I never said it was a bad bow, only that it should have been a '21 model. That was out of the Hoyt reps mouth, not my own assumption. Also 80# limbs stress the riser as much if not a bit more than the aggressive power cycle of the Turbo cam so if the new riser wasn't strong enough there wouldn't be 80# options.
How could I get it to 80lbs? It's set at 29 inch and the limbs are screwed all the way. It 75 pounds now at 85% let off. Could I get it to 80? Thanks man and I have seen any new videos latley.
Shit I'll buy that one also of it's better!!💙🎯. From what I was told there may not be a TWIN TURBO next yr...!! Lol then everyone will be wanting 1 once they have actually shot it or own it
Hey man I shot the RX7, then the RX7 ultra today.. I didn't like the stiff feel at beginning of draw on those 2 bows. So then I grabbed the Twin TURBO, and fell in love with it! The draw was way easier at beginning and all way thru vs the RX7 and ultra. That's 100% how it went down. Even my buddy selling it agreed it was the smoothest drawing bow outta them 3!! Plus I think it looks the best. Specially in all black. I think the ultra looks blah. And simple
Ordered mine in kuiu verde 2 weeks ago, Down here in australia theres a massive wait Cant wait for it to arrive, is the draw cycle smooth compared to the last years rx5?
@@FerventReminder bro I ordered mine one the 11th of December 2021, I called up on Friday and they said there isn’t even an update on it still on bloody back order, I messaged Hoyt to hurry up there asses man everyone’s using covid as an excuse bro, I wanna go hunting man
Wow! Redwerx! What a cool name! It must be amazing! Until you shoot one in comparison with other brands and realize Hoyt is all marketing hype and none of the comfort and performance of other brands. Far too expensive.
??? The Ventum is quite literally the deadest bow and one of the smoothest draws this year....same goes for the RX7. Hoyt has nailed it the last 2 years
And what do you shoot? Oh a stiff Mathews ! You have no clue about 2021 and the 2022 bows.. Before talking shit about Hoyt. Try shooting them. It's obvious your clueless.
Brought my new Twin turbo home today! Got a sick axcell picatinny sight.. Hands down the sickest bow. It hammers arrows into the bail baby!💙🎯🏁🏁

Why did you go to an index release from your hinge?
When will you be comparing the prime inlines?? Very interested in the 3 and 5.
Hoping to be able to shoot them sometime next week and do some videos!
I heard the TT doesn’t come in 80 lbs can you confirm?
time to franken bow, 80lb rx7 ultra with twin turbo cams
YES 🤩
Thoughts on this vs rx 7 or ultra? I’m at a 27” dl coming from a v3 31
Design not much changed from 2014 of Hoyt Spyder, especially ventum, torrex - but people eats
How do you like it VS the V3X?
Get your flags people!!!
If you want a Turbo I would wait until 2023 when they put it on the new riser! Just sayin...

Rx7 is smoother!

Correct
Rex 7 or turbo

The way mods work on this bow 28" draw should be fast too. It looks like, speed between light and heavy arrow it's not too far apart.
