With the engine running, spray fogging oil into the carb to coat the cylinders, pistons, valves, ect. Then drain the exhaust manifolds, engine block, and any lines that may have water trapped in them. Just basicaly trying to prevent any water from freezing and cracking the block, heads, or manifolds. And protect the cylinders from corrosion over the winter
