I had to disable No duplicate weapons 1 for it to start the cutscene, but the moment i open up the item box the game crashes...i'm at a loss
There has been a lot of updates to RE3 which caused issues with this mod unfortunately. Try in the cheat engine disable the option 'Separated weapons for Jill and Carlos 2. That might fix this issue.
@@JesterRoll I did that to and it worked for a while but i get random crashes, for instance when i shoot or when i get bit i get freezes, i think the shop items are the problem im not sure but bottom line this randomizer needs an update
@@Eikenaartje The randomizer was never perfect, it always had glitches and crashes from when it was first made, just the way RE3RE was made. But yeah, as new updates come out, the mod does get more glitchy. We'll just need to wait to see if the mods still getting supported with updates as well.

Ive done 2 randomizers so far and both times Jill did not get Grenade Launcher or Magnum but got all the ammo for it. One of the plays Jill didnt get the shotgun either. Also ran into glitch that carlos was unable to reload the magnum and the shotgun would shoot 4 bullets at once. Would be nice if you could share the item box with jill and carlos in cause you get screwed like this.
I didn't make the randomizer, I just play it and the creators didn't have a very good guide on how to set this up. People on the forums were always confused. So I just made this video to help people getting it set up.
When i download it, it comes out as a CT file and when i open it it's just a bunch of code, can someone help??
Hmm I've never seen that. Try to uninstall it all and do a clean install. It might have downloaded wrong.
my game crashes after i load up a save i tried uninstalling the game and redownloading but it still crashes i even played a little and ran it a bit later on first save still crashes know a fix?
It's possible that the save is corrupt if it tried to reroll the randomizer. The randomizer sometimes changes some items and if you closed it and loaded the save, it might be loading different item locations. So you might have to delete the save and start fresh.
@@JesterRoll i did that but the game still crashes it crashes in the menu when i try to load up a game new one too
@@Eduardo-zf3ye There was a way you needed to go into Steam folder and delete out all the Resident evil save files directly off Steam director. But I forgot how exactly. It is possible if you go to the link of the mod creator and ask on the forum they might have a more accurate solution than what I am giving.
i install cheat engine and i did it but when i try to make a new game it closed

ive done everything exactly the same but every time i try to start a new game my re3 crashes why?
The only thing I could think of for that is your file might be corrupt? Not 100% sure. You could try a clean install to see if that fixes any broken files with the base game.
@@JesterRoll i got it it Was the raytracing Version that cause the crash i used the none rt Version and now its working but thanks for your answer

@JesterRoll I tried this randomizer and its not working. It crashes on me every time I tried a new game. I even uninstalled the game and reinstalled it. I don't even have raytracing enabled. What am I doing wrong?

@@MA_690 Hmm odd, if you have the game open and load the rom it should allow them to be edited. So Im not fully sure. I know they had a bunch of updates for the game and the mod needs updates which could cause the problem. You can try and delete the game and see about reinstalling without updates? But I'm not too sure.

@@MA_690 RE2R was built better. I think the base game was more stable so the mod works better and the mod itself was built to work with the game and not a little add on. So the RE3RE Mod was unstable from the start. I do agree it has some elements I like more. I wish RE3 remake was better, but I did enjoy the puzzles in the randomizer more than RE2. But unless the creator updates the mod I don't see it getting fixed.
do you know if this works with the latest version of the game with the new visual updates? i know it broke the re2 randomizer. wondering if i should buy re3 for this but no idea if this broke too

hey there =) i follow all the steps, but when i launch a new game, the game crashes after the loadingscreen :(
This sounds like some file got corrupt during install. I would think the base game perhaps. Uninstall the mod and the base game, make sure there is no lingering files on the computer still. Then clean install the game and retry the mod. See if that fixes this problem.
The cheatengine does sometimes interfere with base files and messes with them. So it does cause some issues, I have noticed.

It's possible that there is a corrupt file. You can try uninstalling the mod and see if the game loads up. If the game crashes still, reinstall the entire game. If it doesn't, try to reset up the mod.
when i open the randomizer on cheat engine the options dont appear
Are the options there before you load the randomizer rom just when you open cheat engine?

@@littlelegoperson2239 You might need to try and get the newest version of cheat engine. You can try to uninstalland redownload it. If it doesn't work, try to add the RErom in anyways and see if that imports the options. And if not you might need to go to cheat engine reddit. I am not too sure about this one if that doesn't fix it.

I'm not sure for classic. I have never done that one. But there is mods out there for it.
I followed this exactly and the game crashes before loading.
It could be a game file corrupted. Try to uninstall the game and reinstall. Launch it normally first, then retry this.
I had the same, disable "No duplicate weapons 1" and it should work, my next problem now is that the game crashes every time i open the item box :(
