"Playlist Best of Black Tide goo.gl/2mUF8s Subscribe for more goo.gl/3H2Huf" Music video by Black Tide performing Warriors Of Time. (C) 2009 Interscope Records
NHL 2009... Oh Hell Yeah! Usually I don't like the music that is put on most sports games, so I turn it off in the options. But NHL 2009 had an awesome soundtrack, with Warriors of Time being my favorite song on the game. The game itself is probably the best NHL game I've ever played. It compares well to the PS2's NHL 2005. Newer games are a bit too hard though. Realistic, but hard. However, I'd prefer the team creation options to be a bit more expansive like other sports games including MLB 2K11 and Backbreaker. However, I can't complain, since I have my Los Angeles Wildcats team that has some of my friends as players and also a huge list of NHL legends and my favorite current player Sidney Crosby (Pittsburg Penguins). Incredible high-scoring team! I would have taken one of the other cool sounding team names, the Winterhawks, but they didn't have a bird emblem to make it work. I used the tiger emblem for the Wildcats, and it looks pretty cool with the color scheme i gave it. For a game that is closing in on 8 years old, you can't beat it, especially for its price at Gamestop for $4.46 (according to gamestop.com today), but I think it's actually less than $1 at the stores. But it's so good, it's actually worth the $4.00 for such an old game.
Renne Virtanen YESSSSSSS! This was one the song I wanted to hear when I started the game up every time! It really sent chills down my spine when I first started the game!! Sigh*... so many great memories with that game. The gameplay, the players, the soundtrack, the commentators, and the game modes that got me hooked up to the point of faking sick to keep me away from school. I would kill to be the 7 going on 8 year self again, but I’m 18 now, and I’m going to graduate in June. I’m looking forward to that, but at the same time I would want to relive my childhood again. I mean.... who wouldn’t?
Man I remember hearing this song in highschool and thought this band was gonna be the next big thing in heavy metal. It's a shame they went for a more mainstream approach, just didn't work for them unfortunately. Come back to this song every few years and it makes me smile every time
At year 15 I stopped counting time and notice dates to pass bay!! And still I remeber when I first time played NHL 09 I was thrild by "The KIlls", but " Black Tide" struck differently!!! °This song whas all, till 2013 I search on youtube for some thing of them and was: "meh!! They are changed for mainstream, man!!Fuck them!!'" Old ones still bang thought!!!
@@VenylynnPost Mortem is a solid metalcore/hard rock effort but it's just radically different from what we expected to be a follow up to Light From Above.
I saw the music vid for this on tv in '09 and fell in love with this song, but I was unable to find it for over a fkn decade until a friend of mine queued it in vc not too long ago. :') Bless
Dear Lord this band could of bn as big as Iron Maiden, I don’t lie, I don’t joke, I firmly believed that when I heard this album and found out how old they were when it was recorded. I was astounded. Probably the biggest ‘what if’ bands in metal history.
This is an Epic song!!! Too bad this band resorted to becoming a pansycore band... It's sad to see where they're at right now and what they could've been... This band was a Legend in the making.....
"Too bad this band resorted to becoming a pansycore band" This album was basically idol worship. But no, let's cry about the added metalcore influence in Post Mortem, that'll work.
✡WhatsUpSkunky✡ The year is 2020. Humanity is on the brink of extinction. They try patrolling the surrounding wasteland and find a computer terminal. As they search for clues to help them survive the apocalypse, they find your comment. They then proceed to die because instead of finding a way to summon the Warriors of Time, they find your comment and starve. C'mon man.
I love both new and old Black Tide. This song, not that much, it's very repetitive. Anywho, their old stuff is enjoyable because they were definitely different, could've gone so far and inspired bands to be more old school. Their new stuff, granted it's not entirely different, but his voice is not like those other generic ones. To me, the music is always about the synchronization between instruments, voice and lyrics.
@@lorddarc_1352 Black Tide much like Metallica minus the MTV award (which is an entirely different joke) sold out,to be on the radio, They cut thier hair off and their nuts there's no Balls" to this band Anymore....(Jethro Tull according to MTV Awards Judges beat out Metallica who cut their hair off after winning an award from MTV)
Oh! Enserio? Vi él vídeo y busque en los comentarios a ver si había alguien que venia por el "Doctor Engel" y no encontré a nadie. Que chevere me da gusto... El Dr. Engel es una muy buena historia!!!
This is the most generic, predictable metal song.. It's like the average of all metal songs that exist.. But interestingly, I still enjoy listening to it..
NHL 2009❤❤❤
yyyyyeeeeeeesssssssssss, exactly. so many good memories with that game.

This song and Hearts Burst Into Fire by Bullet For My Valentine. Best hockey songs to kick ass too.

Agreed, they had so much potential 🤘
They changed their sound too much in my opinion and it killed everything they had going for them.

But then volbeat filled the void black tide made with this style lol.
It was the metal revival the world expected but didn't happen. They left us just one album.
thanks to NHL 09 I wouldn't have a song as epic as this to pump me up for my hockey games
wuz lookin for dis comant
yup
fr
I saw these guys live when their lead was only like 13-14, their music from that time still rocks to this day.
I know I'm not the only one who rocked out to this song on Rock Band.
throwback to NHL 09
looked up this band after years and years of forgetting about them and now I am sad about everything that happened after this album
+Zion Dubs what happened?
Kosta Egorov everything after light from above is terrible
Totally agree. I got into them at Ozzfest and then after this album it was like...what happened?
+JerichoScale I think the kid was too young when this album came out and we all listen and play different than we did at like 14
They moved on from the 80s metal style, big deal. Stop being so closed minded.
Thank you NHL 09💖
I always used to listen to this song with my dad and my brother. Amazing song, amazing solos.
its a pity this band doesn't make metal anymore
Walking Dead Man is heavier than everything on this album but no, let's say none of Post Mortem is metal.
@@VenylynnPost Mortem is a solid metalcore/hard rock effort but it's just radically different from what we expected to be a follow up to Light From Above.
@@saidoterodiseno fair enough, light from above was very much Maiden worship.
props to responding from a 7 year old comment of yours @@Venylynn

Such a shane. They fell into the generic trendy core capsule. Truly a missed mark for their careers
Bruh.. maiden?!? You lie
They should put this song in every NHL game
I remember watching this at 3am when MTV or VH1 played music videos.
+1
Siempre la jugaba en Guitar Flash, que nostalgia.
Gabriela Solís también lo jugaba. Amaba esta canción...
Remember this from NHL 09
saaaaame😂
What are you " me 🤔🤔🤔😆😆😆🙃🙁🙁🙃😝😝😝🤒🤕🤕🤕🤕😞😞😞😤😤😤😤😻👽👽😺😻😻 gay face man
Same
NHL 09 had it in its soundtrack .
Saw them in concert 10 years ago good live anyways...🤷♂️

What do you mean?
Rynomyte don't worry we still have HAMMERFALL and Manowar
"Too bad this band resorted to becoming a pansycore band"

+Angel Deathbat Like there was such a drought of metalcore that they had to lessen the thrash and power metal sound to correct it?
This band is still good. Regardless of them "selling out" their guitar parts are amazing. They shouldn't have this video without the intro though
Ahh meus 17/18 anos... Ouvia direto essa música.
2/
nossos 17/18 anos
This band used to be amazing men...
NHL 09
those solos are amazing
Loved Light From Above, I just wish they hadn't gone emo.
"emo" lmao you have NO clue what emo is.
Good OL' Black Tide!
Searching this like 2 yrs. Human mind is awesome that i remember some lyrics from just Nhl09
2020, I still remember
Rolón por los que la conocimos el el hermoso juego del guitar Flash cuando éramos jóvenes lml
im a classic rock's fan , it's the first time that i listen to this band , and i have to say the solo is just fucking amazing
NHL 09 forever :3
NHL 2009, best hockey game ever!
That or NHL 06, my 2 favorites for sure
This song is such a guilty pleasure, lol.
I saw them yesterday. I have to say, possibly the best concert I have ever been to, Gabe Garcia
samurai jack is a warrior of time lml
I put so many hours into getting this song 100% on Tap Tap Revenge.. :) I loved it.
Back when Black Tide was awesome
Saw these guys back in September in Austin
I was VERY impressed.
These guys rock.
They should of sticked to this. I like metalcore but they're not good at it. Heavy metal is where they own it.
+Dan Jarnutowski This isn't heavy metal but I do agree that they should stick to music like this
Pshhh lol
They're actually pretty good at both. and Post Mortem was a mixture of Metalcore and Heavy Metal.
Anyone from TapTap Revenge?? Thats how I got into them
NHL 09
Plus best hockey song ever in a video game
Thumbs up if you're watching in 2015!

Best song of NHL 09 :P
3rd best. First is 'Hearts burst into fire', and 2nd 'Afterlife'.
Warriors of time...please bring back NHL09!!!
ahhhhhhh! the guitar shredding! it was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good!

Doctor Engel 😂😂😌 OMG !
Omg somos dos
👌😅
Old but golddd ... my fisrt rock song that i've ever heard ... it's 2023 anyone is here !! 🫵🫵
Don't hate on it...it ain't that bad the guitar work is amazing and all that matters is the soul that is put into this music
mlk está banda me influenciou a ser rockeiro
Incredible how this band went from quasi-early metallica with iron maiden to total shit. A shame really.
I think the same thing everytime I listen to this band....
Rashan Jordan They are too much like metalcore now. They sold out to mainstream metal media after having a bright future ahead of them.
Rashan Jordan he doesn't have the gauges anymore my band opened for them a few months back and he had em closed up
+Mike Hawk listen to there new album its so good and not like post mortem even tho i did enjoy that album also

2022 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
NHL 2009 put EA NHL on the map, 2K dominated for a while.
Very nice. NHL 09 brought me here. It dragged me down here.
That riffs are so maiden-like. I like it! Miss this black tide :(
NHL 09 :)
I ♥ this song
This song is my high school memories!
Saw them yesterday in Toronto!!! Uproar is a sick festival, definitely going next year!!! Thank you Uproar

This is so awesome! What happened to them? They are so bad now.
Gabe turned into a dick and basically forced everyone out of the band.
I love black tide. And I had no idea this was them. They play it at hockey games here. I feel dumb.
NHL 09 had the best soundtrack
It was a wrong idea to look at the comments, fuck that this band is awesome
Wild Ghoul they were awesome
NHL anyone?
yessss
i think this is the best song of the band..!
This song STILL gives me goosebumps
Lets Go Red Wings!
Rochester brother!!! Go red wings!!!
I know this may be a little weird, but to me, this sounds like it could be a Power Rangers theme.
ajgng1215 agreed. Shattered Grid
Fuck yeeeah
Seems like the Power Rangers: Turbo opening woooooooaah
this video shouldn't even have a dislike button. thumbs up if you agree
Best animated thrash metal video. That's it. That's the post
I hear a shit load of Iron Maiden in this one :P
Great song btw
NHL . :)
NHL09 babyyy
I haven't listened to this song for almost 3 years (NHL 09)
NHL :D

its 4 years later, but St. James from the "Hail to the King" Avenged album, almost perfectly rips this off.
I like the instrumentals more than the vocals lol
@@ariseitz5909 What "Hail To The King" hadn't ripped off?
Yes this is the best song of NHL09!!!
yessir, this is back when they were good
the best part of the song was cut off
When i heard this for the first time in NHL09 i quickly put it on my ipod
