    I made this chocolate cake toooooo many times : i made feb 2024 an i used my small glass square pyrex tray , i adjusted certain ingredients an then i made again 9/5/24 i adjusted certain ingredients an i used my big glass square pyrex tray an again June 2024 , i bought springform pan and so i made an i used 1 × 26cm round springform pan( in june i literally doubled recipe an my cake sank in centre in june 2024 , this time it turned out well , rise well an toooo light an tooo fluffy an sooo soft an soooo moist but it sank in centre ) in fact whenever i made this recipe i made bit adjustments , however in june i doubled recipe an other times i didnt double recipe an in june my cake sank in centre, only wen i made this recipe in june it sanked , so here's adjustments i made whenever using this choc cake, i used 2 teaspoon vinalla essence wether i doubled or not i only use 2 teaspoon vinalla essence an sugar i increase wether double or not i increase sugar an i used always normal sugar an cocoa i use 1 tablespoon wether double recipe or not an water i keep same amount all the time but i use tap all the time, so wen i made this choc cake may 2024 im not sure if these also caused cake not to rise an wen i made same recipe june 2024 it rise an sank an so Im not sure if that also caused cake to sink , so adjustments supposed to cause cake to b flat ? An or sink in centre? An also wen using this choc cake recipe an using my 1× 26cm round springform pan did i do correct to double recipe ?

      Im glad you enjoy this recipe as much as i do.😊
      You can make it a chocolate version by removing a little flour and substituting with cocoa powder.
      I will however need to try it to give you appropriate measurements.

    Ok firstly il need to know in baking generally what alls can be substituted and wats alls cannot, an also i need to know wat can be adjusted an wat can cannot, wat can be removed and not : halaal recipes sameera ebrahim , super soft chocolate cake, ganache: 1 tin nestle dessert cream an 200g dairy milk an drop honey and then 1cup castor sugar and pinch salt an 2 egg seperated an 4 teaspoon vinalla essence and Half cup oil and Half cup boiling water and quarter cup coco an 2 teaspoon baking powder and 1cup flour, bake 160 degree for approx 25 min in rectangular pyrex, this is Google recipe , so wen i saw i decided to make it , there was a picture and it looked like a big or biggish cake and well risen cake but u see the thing is i never had springform pans, i onli got now recently but wen i came across this recipe for very first time i only had 2 square pyrex glass pan/ tray , i dont know sizes but i know the big tray holds over 2 litres water under 3 litres water an i know small tray holds over 1 litre water under 2 litre water an because my baking knowledge is soooooo low i could not make out which size wil work, i wanted to use my big glass square pyrex tray but then i used my small tray as i know if tray is big il have flat cake, an it turned out as i prefer my cakes its soooooo devine and not heavy an not dense and its soooooo light an its soooooo fluffy an its sooooooo moist an not dry and not crispy an not overcooked an not cracked an not sinked in centre and it rise tooooooo well but its sooooooooo small cake, i never knew that, then i decided to use my big glass square pyrex tray , because i wanted a large amount but it never turned out well , it never rise , it was dry , it wasnt light an not fluffy an not moist an it was crispy , but then i got to know that , i never doubled recipe therefore it never rise an pan was big so therefore i had those issues, now i know but before i never knew theres such a law wen using big tray/ pan an little batter u get flat cake

      Please follow the exact method as shown. Doing it another way can change the texture of the cake itself.

    Hello, this looks delicious. Can I halve the recipe for a smaller cake?

    • @jhowardsupporter
      @jhowardsupporter 2 года назад +1

      You can half or quarter the recipe. Just adjust the baking times, maybe check after 15 to 20 minutes to see what's happening 💛

    • @TheKitchenGirlDiary
      @TheKitchenGirlDiary  2 года назад

      You can definitely half the recipe and pan size.
