    Virgin Atlantic
British airline with head office in Crawley, England.
Established in 1982 as British Atlantic Airways and originally planned by its founders Randolph Fields and Alan Hellary to fly between London and the Falkland islands.
The route was unviable and another route from LGW to JFK was sought, the route was rejected by BA, BCAL and British Airports Authority.
A second route was sought between LGW and Newark.
A partnership was developed with Richard Branson and after negotiations, Fields decided to sell his stake in the company, the company was also renamed Virgin Atlantic.
On June 22nd, 1984, Virgin Atlantic operated its first service from LGW to Newark using a leased Boeing 747-200, its only aircraft. It was another 18 months before Virgin Atlantic would get its second 747 in 1986 and began flights from LGW to MIA, followed by JFK, Narita, LA, Boston and Orlando.
All the 747’s are now retired, with the last flight on May 5th, 2020 as result of the COVID pandemic.

It's unfortunate that the Scarlett Lady is upside down on one side and that the Flap Track Fairing fell off, but it's still a very good model nonetheless.

This model is generally out of stock and I think was sold out in the pre-order phase and I wasn't able to get a replacement. I still have the model on display and I guess it makes it more rare so I am living with it! Thanks for watching!

I don't know how you are so calm with that upside down Virgin Girl. It's definitely not like that on the main aircraft and the banner seems more blue than brown. Gorgeous aircraft otherwise
Looking forward to the viideo with those 1:200 jetways. 🙂.

It is an unfortunate error, the seller got back to me after discussing with the JC Wings rep and they are all quite shocked that this happened, but as this model completely sold out in preorder there is no replacement available, I can either get a refund or live with what I have.
