Hands down this is the safest machine shop in Pakistan. The workers in this shop have safety gloves and safety boots. In all previous videos of machine shop in Pakistan I have never seen safety gloves and boots. Safest in Pakistan.
They have steel toed flip flops 🩴.🤔😁
It is sad but you don't know why they are willing to sacrifice their safety for some pennies.
Yes, it is an OSHIT approved shop
What a neat little factory. No safety hazards or work environmental issues.
Bullshit
it's perfectly safe according to experts here...and pigs also fly
Lol.
Health and safety Legislation only applies to western countries as they cause alot of accidents and they act like fools.
Scary to think this country has nuclear weapons also. How much safety and regulation goes into them
1:20 I am very sure that this instrument is highly accurate and recently calibrated by that punch.
Quality control passed
It's engineering thing if in doubt give it a clout.
ha ha
Yeah 😂
🤣🤣👍
These workers are amazing. Don't they measure anything? You would think that the bolt turned diameter and chased threads would be inspected at the lathe. Cut threads VS rolled. Cut are much weaker with the most vulnerable part of any cut screw thread being up at the thread runout near the head. This presents a high stress concentration.
Unbelievable, I have finally seen a pakistani worker with shoes, no protective booth, but any how some kind of protection. But nice job. Greets from Venezuela,
Finally! Workers wearing shoes 👏👏👏
And one with glasses behind the lathe ;)
@Gatze Labordus, the owner must've been properly educated in the west
great making process video~ 멋진 과정!

Ola. Muito bom. Gosto demais dos seus videos. Seu trabalho e muito importante. Um grande abraço e admiraçao do Brasil

So crazy to see how to see how bolts are made by hand. Ended here after watching How It’s Made on bolts. Machines that pump out 300 bolts per minute. Still so cool to see the craftsmanship in making them by hand
Which machine???
That is amazing. Thanks for sharing.
What exactly amazes you? Lack of safety? Harsh environment? Child labor? Or the fact the those bolts are not annealed properly?
I see this and it really makes me realize how soft the “west” is with all its “influencer’s” whining about how bad they have it!
I could never understand why everything gets thrown on the floor
their floor is our table
@@richardebbole1 plus, that way everyone is busy... in a place w/o TV, pensions etc it is important to keep everyone busy.
Wet earth - rust, sand in the carving, dirt .. Indeed, why not organize the work normally? Someone has to clean up there!
@@hibahprice6887 No, they don't.
Hy
I'm guessing they are wheel studs and lug nuts. Interesting that the studs are not serrated. Means they either have to get welded in place, or their diameter has to be very precise to get a tight fit. Hmm.
We weld it
I had the exact same thoughts
Nice video, thank you :)
Nice workers. No computer adict here,no ! Real quality workers !
Mad Max is here!
This is nuts!
No, it’s bolts
Those who use these bolts are ninjas.
Super!!!!
Thnkx
Nice working
Pekerjaan yang sangat luar biasa
Travail d’esclavage.
Good job
Thank you
🔥🔥
i'll bet you could sell those in a nice box in one of those upscale tool catalogs. "Arsenal heavy duty bolts from scrap"
Amazing
Hame to bass tarazu on karne ka tarika 1 no laga
unbelievable
Where´s the Hexagon on the bolt?
These appear to be lug bolts and nuts for truck hubs, interference fit on the bolts, no hex.
Thats a serious Nut for such a small bolt head. I wonder if they get quenched later for hardness
Excellent 👍👍, use gloves and spectacles for safety. As you are dependent on fitness
Wow! How can these people live like that... and they have nuclear power!
Hexagon nut? Yes.
Hexagon bolt? No.
Is that the finished product?
Looks like large wheel studs and nuts but there's no splines on the studs.
With what we get to see on the video unless it's a pretty serious interference fit or a weld-in-place stud I believe the torque required for that size nut would, sooner or later, spin the stud.
Edit:
Maybe the quality of the material and finish makes it a rust-in-place fit.
Lol
What about the fact that there are no stress relief procedures or heat treating on those studs or nuts. RIP those traveling along side those wheels…
@@rxpsycho7326
Based on what we got to see in the video Grade 2 would be the highest they could be for proof, yield and tensile strength. Again if that's the finished product.
Thanks for these Comments, from what I see, they are valid:
“…Lack of spines, huge interference fit or weld in place, quality of material and finish, no stress relief or heat treating and quite possibly the Grade 2 strength.”
This is a very different manufacturing culture, than that to which I am accustomed. Frankly, I was shocked.

I'm not surprised by what they do there to get by. It may be India or Pakistan in the video idk.
I lived in Burma(Myanmar) in ('87 and '88) and they were even worse at some things they manufactured because of being so poor.
They had wonderful artisans and even well trained engineers (British taught for decades) but they didn't have all the tools/machines even if they knew the correct methods. They just made what the could make.
The US and other western nations helped with donations of agricultural equipment, supplies, maintenance training etc.
The ones I really admired were the wood-worker artisans that could make just about anything from teakwood, rosewood, ironwood, bamboo, wicker etc.
If you had an idea, sketch or actual blueprint they could make that item.

If I don't cut it, how do I measure it?
I know that but I have no source
At the 3:40 mark… somebody is yelling! Must’ve dropped a red hot bolt on his safety sandals.
Oui.
Ces ouvrier travail comme des esclaves. Aucune protection. Ni assurance. Et rien du tout.

Oui. Il s’amuse bien comme un esclave.
Workers are wearing Regular clothes.... Did they run out of pajamas and nightshirts?
I seen a pair of safety sandals… that count?
Why they trow every thing on the floor. Look mom i have new job in a safety companie. The guy at the end seem to be happy
I bet they have fun accounting for inventory. LOL

"hey guys before we start today safety meeting".. never heard in this place
I wonder how often this crazy video gets viewed? - the [Russian??] person before me was only by 2 weeks.
:)
Next time my workers complain about their work I will show them this video.

*Those are NOT Hexagon Bolts* The Red Dot tells All. Why throw them on the ground? Use a box.
The bolts are left hand thread?
i wonder the same
This is wheel studs for medium duty trucks

At least they are not wearing flip flops.
Amazing work 🦾
Bolt to bolt discord, risky product, can not be used. But in Pakistan it is possible.
Thnkx sir 🙏
I'm owner of this factory
Somebody gotta do it & are those bolts & nuts qualified as man made....
HAHA, I almost shit myself when the guy takes the weight scale and slams his hand on it a few times. I'm sure it is really accurate now. SMH
otimo
Yes. The work is good . But you can advise them for a minimum of safety. Like the guy who's breathing with the acid when he's putting the metal in the liquid.....no comment!!
Not sure that's acid. It would have eaten through that garbage can a long time ago.
👍
Wonder what the hourly rate is or monthly pay
A lot of people working hard, in hazardous conditions, making a very borderline product. Unknown steel, uncalibrated tools, no QC, no quenching. Not a recipe for good profits, good reputation, or future growth and success.
HOW ARP bolts are made..
