The trick on Raptor liner is keeping your gun 14" away from the surface. Also on your second coat go in the opposite direction and blow it or fog it on instead of using a traditional back and forth spray gun pattern. The black will look tough on the bronco!!
The fogging at the end is crucial for paint line hiding. We use that method is spraying Metallics on car paint jobs

That didn’t turn out bad at all. I see the difference in the paint spraying but you can’t tell it from my house.

Getting ready to paint my newly acquired 91 Bronco. I like the look of the raptor lined top. Reminds me of the old vinyl tops back in the day.

I restore vehicle for a living here in Ohio currently restoring 2 Broncos at the same time (did not plan that) one for a customer and one with my 15 year old son (first car) I like how honest you are with your experience btw the truck looks great and your Bronco is looking good. I also collect Tags and Signs send me and address and I'll hook you up with a tag. Keep up the good work

What degreaser after sanding did you use? I have sanded my truck top and now have fine material to get up prior to spraying the Raptor gray UP4855 tintable material. Thanks a bunch.
Was and grease remover from O'Reilly's

I think it would leave behind a residue... I wouldn't use it.
Did you get the windows back in?

Awesome video. Im about to buy some raptor liner for a short bed camper shell 5ft, In your case did you find the 2 bottle kit sufficient or would you recommend the 4 bottle kit.
Think two would be enough..would actually have to rewatch the video to see what I used lol
@@TheFoxShop haha it's all good. I ended up finding a good deal on the 4 bottle kit for the same price as the 2. So a win win if anything, wish me luck.

Yup yup
The reason you have the tiger stripes is because you were trying to paint it like a car. The liner needs to be sprayed in small overlapping sections. Its a pita doing the tops with it.
What psi did you run?
Really don't remember.. I know I said it in the video though
I would leave it as is too. I think you would be asking for trouble trying to do any more with it.

I don't remember lol... might have said in the video.. can't think more than one.. Maybe two
If there were some way to fan that gun out a little more - but it looks great.
You can slightly...and actually I think I may have gone the wrong way. In editing the video I think I saw what I was doing wrong. Will bring that up in the next video

True duals, no cats, 2.5" pipe all the way back.. And glass packs but don't remember way brand without going back and looking lol. 😂
