Most people know how to braid but showing how you use your tools to keep the work neat and consistent is invaluable. Your art work is impressive in every medium! In addition to just starting out wire wrapping, I have been creating bead woven jewelry and accessories for over 20 years, mainly for family and friends and an occasional craft fair.

Very clever using 1/2 round wire. I like how you show and explain the different movements and tools as well. Most have seen a 3 strand braid, but doing it with wire and incorporating it into other pieces like rings is unique. You have great suggestions too. From one artist to another, thank you for sharing your talent with the world!

Forgot to answer your question: aside from wire weaving, I am a potter, a brown-thumbed gardner, and my jewelry making hobby turned me into Chief Jewelry Repairer for family and co-workers. I have worked in the pet industry for 40 years as a dog groomer, so wire and gemstones give me a break from doghair😊

Sorry about that, the industry is very physical, takes a toll on us. I realize that I am so lucky to have a job I still love, but doesn't involve sitting, which leads to - old age!😅 FYI, all the vets around our area have stopped doing nail trims, no time. All on us, but its OK. Thanks again! Love your little pooch❤

Very interesting video; I've never tried braiding thinner half-round wire for such a small braid. Usually 16 gauge & thicker for bracelettes. AHA! A new challenge! 😃
I noticed you fighting the wire twisting . Many people don't realize that every complete wrap around the base wires puts a full twist in the wrapping wire just as a full twist of the base wires will complete one wrap. It's not so abvious using round wire but becomes frustrating evident using square or half-round wire. Enough ramble, I'm off to check my half-round stock.

It’s easier with round wire because you don’t have to worry about it twisting. It just takes up more space. ☺️

Why did you wrap this ring backwards? From back to front instead of from front over top edge to back, under and up over again? From the front like the professionals do it ??? Does that make it stronger?
