Thanks for those tips. I live here in Arkansas (Native NY’r) and my son has chickens. He’s always bringing us eggs. Another thing my son told me was, if you don’t wash the eggs after the chicken lays them. They’ll be good on the counter top for a long time, but once you wash the film off the eggs, then you have to put them in the fridge to stay fresh. Thanks for your tip on putting the eggs in the water. I’m going to try it.
No problem, yes we leave our eggs on the counter. It sounds weird but no need for keeping eggs cold, silly western thing we all grew up with. Lol Thanks for your comment. Take care
Yes, there are other RUclips channels, but I enjoy yours much more than most. Topic of food was great, as it is rarely discussed. Perhaps some points to add- 1. I eat on average 6 eggs a day, and egg freshness and how the chickens are fed as it makes a difference. Seems roadside vendors, the eggs are generally fresher. Just as in the water vendor, when you find one that has the best eggs, fish, and produce, stick with them and they will take care of you. 2.Also when it comes to fish, and any other meat, the nose knows! I smell everything, and if it smells off, it is likely bad. Also press your finger into the fish. If it springs back it is fresh. The fishmongers start auctioning fish at 0430, and most open markets open at 0500 to 0530. Get your shopping done at first open. 3. As for pork, two blocks away there is a little meat shop that opens at 0500. They throw a whole hog on the table and start carving it up, and just tell them what you want. I typically buy ground pork, which I want that meat from the shoulder. They cut it and weigh it before grinding for me. 4. I get my chicken at Save More and only buy it when it comes in that morning. Usually buy 4 kilos at a time and fire up the grill and cook enough for the week, and freeze the rest just in case I miss a shipment. 5.when I bring the produce home, everyone grabs a knife and cutting board and begins chopping, putting it in ziplock bags. That goes for the shredded carrots, cabbages, diced onions, slivered sweet peppers, and all the garlic is peeled and ready to go. I am currently back in the US on a work assignment, and watching your video made me a bit homesick. Keep those videos coming! Rick

This last package was delivered by Ninja, it varies-several delivery companies. Once it leaves the states the tracking is difficult but it always finds its way. It’s confusing 🫤. Once it’s in the Philippines it’s hard to track. I’m not sure who delivers from the states to the Philippines. Amazon has it figured out, and I’m very happy with the service. Take care

@maudave Thx Dave, Yeah, I sent some Multi Gift parcels for Xmas Gifts in early December and arrived within 5 day's in Custom's, Manila from m our Australia Post........now "being held by Custom's" 🤔 for past 5 weeks after no tracking for 4 weeks as e-mailed them last week, unbelievable....... apparently huge numbers go missing I Custom's, blogs from foreigners confirming the corruption and theft of packages 😲🙏 I'll pay the 4 time's express post cost now and send via private Courier......Thank goodness I insured each package. Cheers
I have been very fortunate with Amazon. The Philippine Lazada, Temu, and a few others trying to copy Amazon-lots of theft. And getting refunds from them is next to impossible. They give credit and then it’s hard to use it. Frustrating. Have a good day/night. Take care
