If I'm correct its still in the movie version of the song but not in the album release because the lines "what we have in store, all we want is more, we will break on through, now its time to finish you!" was cut out of the album version for some reason
I could be wrong but i definitely remember hearing something similar in the movie
@@RosellaMae_ one is present but it’s different. currently the riff is only still present in the international versions of the album release
If they would've went with this version of the Rainbooms, the Rainbooms would've possibly stood a chance against the Dazzlings.
Here they don't sound like squeaky chipmunks, the guitar riff definitely slaps too.
I don't know why they went with the one we got in the movie, this here would've been so much better than what we got.

It’s not very fitting tbh. The instrumental break sounding like a character selection screen for a street fighting game doesn’t work that well.
Edit: don’t get me wrong, it still sounds epic though.
@@itsonlycana Street Fighter isn't the only fighting game out there. Keep in mind that this is also a demo track, so it's not going to be perfect. I was more thinking of KoF, Project Justice, and Killer Instinct's character select OST. If not, it could work for a sub or final boss fight.

This kinda slaps ngl
This demo is better than the movie version imo, both as a song and as a part of the story. Those chants from the crowd really sell the brainwashing element / adds weight to the stakes of the battle.
The Sirens cut part was probably a bit too long so imo it's fine they removed it but it was so good. "Waiting patiently, It's time for you to see" was the perfect part for them to start gathering energy for their transformation or something lol while adding to the "we've almost reached our goal after all this time" vibe they had throughout the movie. It also eased us into their part nicely, but maybe the writers thought it killed the momentum idk.
I really like the deeper voices from the Rainbooms as well, I actually can't decide which sides parts I like more here. Unlike the movie version, where the Sirens parts are just hands down better, I think the demo version is just a lot more listenable. It's easier to appreciate the harmonies between the Rainbooms when their voices aren't so high pitched.
Maybe it's just because the voices are different / not as overpowering but I feel like the instrumental is better too. That bass tone just sounds more malicious somehow lol. Sunset's part too, I don't like how it goes full pop song at the end in the movie version but here it sounds way more sincere. Her voice isn't getting drowned out either.
Also, as a metal head 2:23 is so good. I know it's for a My Little Pony movie but it would have sounded really good if there were some Djent/Chuggs added there.

If I had to be honest, I don’t like the vocalizing here.

The vocalizing sounds really weird.
The ahhhs sound like the voice actresses are pinching their noses while singing it, and also it sounds like they have some kind of vocal processing or auto tune, too, which makes it sound robotic, and I think that wasn’t what they were going for. It also sounds kinda muffled.
