- Love these sequencers so here is a lazy Sunday afternoon jam focusing on the qu bit octone sequencers. If you are curious about eurorack sequencing worth checking out.
Main sound is from Mutable instruments elements.
joined later by erica synths black VCO & Polivoks filter, envelope and LFO by make noise maths. reverb Qu bit RT 60.
Drums - erica synths pico drum x 2 one of these sounds is fed back into the mutable instruments elements.
When you link two octones together you can store up to 32 patterns in memory. Really handy but a fact that is tucked away in the PDF online manual !

The Octone’s seem to be very versatile, espec. the chaining. Pity that the knobies are so small. Greetz 👍✌️

I love the octones ! when you link 2 together apart from the obvious 16 steps/gates instead of 8 you suddenly get 32 memories, two 1-5v/o outputs and the second octone can be tuned to harmonize with the first - so the second 1v/o output will send 3rds or 4ths or 5ths or octaves etc. of the first octone and random mode with 16 steps going is always fun. You obviously have absolutely no need for these ;-))

Clearly not, damnit. I've seen them a million times, but kind of glossed over until your vid. I have a Qu-Bit Chance, which I dearly love, so I wouldn't mind a bit more of their stuff in my case. But my two main cases are packed (with modules on-deck), and my third case is destined to be a Verbos thing, so what to do? Have the Octones on-deck, I suppose :-)

Don’t know all the eurorack sequencer’s out there but qubits own ‘replacement’ blooms sequencer is pretty good tbh and has memories 😊
Me, 13 mins ago: "Maybe I don't really need to also get this Octone that's on sale.... let me just look up one random video, I'm sure I'll see something that'll help me make up my mind." (I think everyone here knows what happened next)

Nice... so main gate out is triggering Vicodin’s? And pitch out is controlling that same vcos pitch, then the red white and green cable are gating drums? So if I understand, octane can cv pitch control one vco and trigger 8 drums or gates?
HI 510th, Yep you are correct on all the above. If you have two octones linked the other gate/pitch out can send harmonies of the first octone's pitch i.e. 4ths or 5ths etc. I still love them, they are just so damn immediate and fun to work with.
