Great video, Chris, I trust your reviews. It is readily obvious to anyone, that you are here to inform your viewers of the positives and negatives of your merchandise. The honest reviews are much appreciated! By the way I bought a bellstaff Crosby on your last sale and I am extremely happy with it, and the service I received from your staff

I bought the Belstaff TrialMaster cotton waxed jacket three years ago, so before the 'Pro' update (it was stupidly called the 'Tourist Trophy' then). It is the best jacket I've even owned (even with the 'temperamental' non-YKK double zip which gave me some trouble when new) and as now it still looks perfect, a very tough & protective jacket even in awful weather. I paid ~£450 (with 3DO's and liner). Now the waxed 'Pro' (cordura panels and one-way zip the only differences AFAIK) is £575, the leather version is £1125, but I would pick the 'Tourist Trophy' again even if these two were the same price!

Belstaff are a fantastic brand, top of their game when it comes to style and comfort! I have a wax cotton trial master pro and I just gaze upon it daily (specifically due to current situations!) and plan the next outing I can wear it for! If you’re like me, I have an abundant amount of armour lying around the house so a jacket that doesn’t come with certain armour isn’t to important to me! What is important is a jacket that will last and any 2020/19 belstaff, I believe have absolutely smashed it! Stay safe...👌

have this jacket, very warm in 5 degrees F not including windchill. water resistant lots of pockets and stylish. I ended up getting the older one with the two way zip. It's definitely fragile and delicate. Hope it lasts a long time.

A Goldtop Patrol Jacket is nearly £700 cheaper and pure quality

Some people are happy to drive a Ford, and it cannot be denied that a Ford represents good value for money. But that doesn't stop some people still preferring a Mercedes. ML

And a Benjamin Button Jacket from Gallanto is twice as cheaper than the Goldtop Patrol Jacket and £135. It all comes down to a reasons. If you have 5-6 month riding time a year (in my case) why do you need to go for a 1000 vs 135? Better to do some maintenance on the bike to keep you sharp and safe.

It's a substitute for people that can't afford the real deal.

I’m looking to buy the Turner, are they going to update that model at all? I’m not entirely fussed of new ce rating as I strip all the armour out and wear a Knox vest under so I have a more fashion jacket. Just don’t want to drop a grand and find a new one come along a couple of months later.

We don't know but there is not one in the wings that we have heard about and certainly would be at least 12 months away. ML

What’s the difference from the trailmaster and the trailmaster pro?

Frank Herforth it was literally in the first 5 mins mate.
Higher start and better quality zip. no longer a double zip for the newer jacket. Also proper tags to comply with new EC regs.

A couple of things. A new, higher-starting one way zip that is going to be far more reliable. Also, an abrasion resistant lining in the zone A areas to enable it to get its CE certification. ML

I guess you could wear this jacket in all kinds of weather including heavy rain if you carry a waterproof over sujt

It has always been the case that you get much better value when you drive a Ford. But that still doesn't stop some people from buying a Porsche. ML

Not too concerned about your comments about how I look. But your suggestion is that our views are therefore untrustworthy. This is uncalled for and actually most people are of the view that our reviews are the most open, honest and objective on RUclips. I can only assume that you have some kind of agenda here. As this is the only reason that I can think of for somebody making such a dickhead observation. ML
