These appear to have a higher than average heel height, which hopefully means that your heel stays put and does not slip up and down when walking as is the case with many other loafers.... seems like a smart design consideration.

@@LeatherShoeJournal I have a pair of Adelaides in polo suede I made on their MTO (rain) but I have a hard time with loafers with other brands even if I size down...never tried Carminas loafers though
