That Maytag washing machine has to be at least 60 years old. The “arm” you removed is the wringer. After the clothes were washed, you put them through the wringer to squeeze out the excess water, rinsed the clothes in clean water, then wrung them again.

I would personally agree. But if you really want to paint it I would suggest researching the colors. (There seems to have been at least a green version too.) But that's just me.

Our German Shepherd is the canine version of Landis. She claims ownership of all dog toys brought into the house, actually stealing it from our other dog. The German Shepherd motto is 'everything is mine, even if you think it's yours'. Lol

Whenever you acquire old electronics, always try to get hold of any leads, cables, mikes etc as this will improve the value. Also, It's never a real Christmas till the cat pulls the Christmas Tree over.
I have seen those washers turned into flower planters, open the lid and have the flowers spilling over the sides

The vintage washing machine is cool and neat.. now who would want it or use it unless he collects washing machine , most time I see them.. they r in a garden wrap with plants. It's a big obscure object that my Grandmother in the 60's had one something like that.. that she use , it was outside under a pecan tree and next to outdoor clothe line to dry clothes and towels that you would hang them on. A guy like me would have intrest just to put in a garden to remember once a long time ago a memory. But really it is nice to find and I had flashback moment thanks. Who knows maybe someone will just buy it with that flashback moment like me and want it...I hope so also..Peace.

The toy`s for the KiKi`s is wonderfull.Maybe they have a drip of valerian inside.The Cat`s(6)of a friend of mine,doing the same (rolling and play with)when he dug up a valerian root.I love the section-when you both open the gift`s(and i wait of the moment,when my gift come to you^^)- the joy and gratitude that you radiates out, is simply worth seeing!!

The base station and the signal generator probably yes, but the others not so much. Its hard to find many people that are willing to pay for the vintage stuff because it is sort of dying off with the younger people. The radios would have all been worth a lot more if they were in clean well preserved condition.

Ham radios worth money if you come across them, CBs not so much. Kind of sad though, we had them in our cars when we were teens, NO CELL PHONES! Much safer. I was actually thinking about getting one to listen at home . . . See what kind of people still using them :)

The Midland is a citizen band radio. Like a short wave, but for your vehicle. Used by truckers, and drivers. Big thing back in the 70's,,,CB in your car.
The kitties with the toys was so cute , they are lovin life. They have it good now and they know they are loved. Did the people they originally belonged to ever come looking for them or don't they care???
I have a dolly that has wheels that blow up... The key is to make sure the tires have air before going out and doing anything... I bought some of that tire slime stuff, filled both tires and they havent went flat since and since the tires have air it makes it softer on the appliances instead of jarring them around... I use to have one with solid wheels... it was heavier then my air tires one
I remember thinking when Landis and Lucky first showed up ..that you wouldn't be able to resist them ! I had never been able to resist animals! So I moved to a place where they are welcome but everyone has to keep them in their house! Sometimes though they escape and come to my door and I check their collar, love them up a little,give a drink of water and cuddle them back home! Sometimes when I'm cutting grass I will see them watching out their windows! So what y'all do with your Kiki's...makes me happy and cry too! Love y'all!👍🙋🕊️☃️🎄🌟

Satellite locator is for the old style satellite dishes that were like 15ft in diameter! You had to program them for channels and you could also search for other satellites instead of being locked on one like modern satellite dishes. You could literally watch shows from all over the world or watch the live feeds from the networks to the affiliates. My grandfather would watch a weeks worth of Jeopardy at once because they would send out five shows all at once and there was no commercials. That Maytag washer is worth 250$ all day long and that Cobra base station CB with the detachable speaker can bring over 300$ in good condition, the signal generator is for testing and repairing cb's!
Look into that Cobra 2000 GTL. They're going big on Ebay and it looks like you also grabbed the speaker for it too. CB guys love that old gear.
That Maytag would make a bad ass kitchen island if you made a nice top for it!

Does anyone else hear a voice around 10:20 after Turner says hello for the 3rd time? It's not Sammi or the film picture clicking, it's more like a recording of a voice or TV. Am finding this very weird because I went back and heard it twice more and the third and fourth time I can't hear it again.
The Tracker III is for a C band satellite and I don't know may people still using them. My parents still have one in the yard but I'm not sure it still works.
I love your Maytag! Plug it in and see if it works! I have one in my basement that I used for six months when my old washer quit. I love my wiringer washer because there is no inner outer tub so yo can soak clothes in it or wash forever and it is easy to clean. Farmers use them to wash the carrots in outside.

I am guessing the Midland and 2 Sears Talkers are CB (Citizen Band) radios from the 60s.
you got 3 mobile cb radio's 1 base station cb that speaker goes to the base that amp in the bottom goes with the base its a linar it boost the power on your output so u can reach out farther that saletlite conter goes with the base when u put up a big tower like aset of moon rakers u can talk around the world if all that works your sitting on a gold mind to a ham radio person or a perso thats into cb's great find
