Using Beading Templates in Procreate

In this tutorial, I will give you a quick run-through of how to use my PNG file beading templates in the app Procreate on an iPad. It is not meant to teach you all of the tips and tricks of Procreate but how I use it with these templates.

How can I get the procreate to fill in the bead spots ( circles)? I hope that makes sense. As of now when I try to create my design on my brick stitch template, it just draws like I am using a pen etc. Thank you !

You need to have the layer with the template selected and then, drag the color over to the "bead", and it will fill. Once you fill one bead, a pop up will come on the top of the screen that says something like "continue filling", Once you click that you can continue to fill beads by just tapping them.

I think you could create a layer, import your image to that layer and then make sure the layer is “under” the template you are working on.

Can i use procreate on a laptop? Or do i need an ipad

I don’t believe there is a desktop version. Only IPad or IPhone.

I believe there is a sumo program for Android but unfortunately I don’t have an android device to test.

I’m not sure 🤔 You would have to check the Android App Store. It’s called Procreate.
